It is time to hang 'em up. What a ride it has been starting with the Portland Pythons, switching from defensive tackle to power back the last third of the season. Managing to take it to the house in a playoff game from 98 yards out, with his name spelled wrong on the back of the jersey! Thanks for that one Mr. Equipment Manager. Then being drafted #1 overall by an expansion team, the Chicago Butchers, the team nearest to his hometown of Clintonville, Wisconsin. After two seasons in Chicago he was traded to beautiful Philadelphia with all kinds of excitement and expectations. While the team never quite succeeded the way he had hoped and worked so hard for, he piled up a lot of numbers along the way and more importantly played along side and for some unbelievable people.
Thanks to all my teammates.
