Ioe’s DSFL post season look, and offseason analysis from a player who just joined a week ago. the purpose of this article is to breakdown each team's roster construction current TPE, how they compare against each other as well as team needs moving on to the offseason. this is a very early preliminary look considering the fact that I don't really know who's going to get drafted and removed from this current roster to the majors so this is just kind of my outlook on how things look currently.
to kind of illustrate some of the analysis I broke down each of the teams averages per position for the starters and every team and those breakdowns look like this:
QB 419.25
RB 318.125
WR 294.375
TE 212
OL 204
DE 256.5
DT 313
LB 309.875
CB 272
S 15.125
K 221.5
so let's start with the first team the Bondi Beach Buccaneers:
BBB- 6-8 (South
A quick analysis of Bondi Beach currently is they have a great quarterback in DexterZaylren. he currently has 445 TPE, which is 26 over the league QB average of 419. Their current backup quarterback Josh Allen is a season 29 create and doesn't appear to have added any TPE to their base 50. which could bode as a problem if dexter is drafted. Currently Josh Allen is -369 to the League average.
Taking a look at Bondi Beach running back situation they're pretty solid with 2 good starters a receiving back with 307 TPE and I speed back with 254 TPE. the League average for running back TPE is 318 TPE. Making Akil only -11 and Big Chungus -64. They have a third running back that's not too far off the first two starters power back, Brandon price with 211 TPE, only -155 the league average.
They currently only have one wide receiver on the roster with 139 TPE which is-154 behind the League average of 294. they have two tight ends with a solid starter who currently has 257 tpe 55 over the League average and a newcomer with only 75 tpe -182.
moving over to the defense they have four defensive lineman with two defensive ends and two defensive tackles starting defensive in mongo is a top tier defensive end in the League with 436 tpe 179 over the League average of 257. backup defensive in is currently at 75 TPE with interior defensive tackle Amadeus Redding he currently has 164 TPE - 148 behind the League average of 313. moving into the secondary this is where they need a lot of help with only one solid secondary playerHenny Tingzpahcbol, who has 320 TPE it is the only secondary player that is above the League average. the League averages for secondary players are 310 at linebacker 272 at cornerback 315 at safety and 222 at kicker. Here is a further breakdown of the team roster per position with current PE alongside where they lie next to the League starting average.
As you can see Bondi Beach has a team average of 195 current TPE for the team, with a team average of minus 111 away from the League starting averages at each position. obviously that number is slightly skewed due to the fact that I only averaged out the starting players so it kind of shows lack of depth regarding this current roster.
Biggest Team Needs: QB, CB, WR, DT
Londoni Royals: 11-3 (1st North)
The current champions are looking pretty solid around most of the roste. again depending on who gets drafted they have a good quarterback in red arrow who has 333 TPE only minus 86 behind the leave at League average. backup quarterback Exo is at 82 tpen and still has a ways to go before he could become any impact player. running back wise they have one of the top tier running backs in Manhattan Project with 413 TPE 95 over the League average and a solid backup inTaipan Pete with 248 TPE third string Running back Noel is currently at 58 TPE minus 376 on the League average. currently they have two wide receivers on the roster one at 322 tpe 28 over the League average and one at 69 TPE minus 225 and a singular tight end Buffalo Hunter whom is 22 over the League average with 234 TPE. London only has one offensive lineman on the roster who has 179 TPE minus 25 behind the League average.
looking at the defensive side of the ball London has some solid strengths here with another top tier defensive in Glen smart who has 456 TPE, 199 over the League average of 257 TPE, 9 London has nose tackle Fergus Callaghan who has 450 TPE +137 over the league average. Depth wise they also look pretty good with the secondary being pretty solid with a linebacker at 240 TPE and two cornerbacks both over the League average at 394 TPE and 311 TPE. London could use some safety help with only one safety on the roster who only has 84 TPE minus 231 behind league avg.
wanden currently has a team average of 251.56 tpe for the team an A-Team average of only minus 50 behind League starters averages at each position.
Team Needs: S, WR,
Dallas BirdDogs- 5-9 (south)
Dallas is surprise team as they look like they should have won more games but came out third place in their division, they had the best quarterback in the League in Joliet Christ JR. who has 572 TPE 153 over the League average. he is currently their only quarterback on the roster. at running back they had two really good running backs at 335 TPE in 265 tpe respectively. a wide receiver they had one top end receiver at 390 TPE in Bayley, and a solid back p in Ivan Toastovich whom had 170 TPE only minus 124. offensively Dallas has their strengths as they have tide in Joey Marston who is 234 TPE 22 over the League average. offensive line is where Dallas could use help as they only have one on the current roster with 82 tpe.
on the defensive side they have two defensive ends both pretty solid one at 259 TPE and one at 157 TPE defensive tackles and other strength as they two relatively average interior lineman with 283 TPE and 207 TPE both slightly behind the League average. one of the few teams of multiple linebackers they currently have three on the roster. all three are slightly behind the League average with their top linebacker being Luke waterson who is at 239 TPE only minus 71. in the secondary they have two cornerbacks and two safeties they could really use some help here in the secondary as all of the corners and safeties are at least 100 behind the League average with the exception of Cole Maxwell is a top tier safety with 418 TPE 103 over the average. at kicker they have Dallas dole who is 197 TPE only minus 25
Kansa City Coyotes (7-7 North)
Kansas City is an interesting team because they're either really good at positions or really bad at positions so taking a quick look at them they have a top tier quarterback in Troy Abed who is 425 tpe six over the League average and a pretty solid backup quarterback an Jaroppolo JR, who has 250 ninety PE only minus 160 behind the League average. at running back they have two solid running backs one at 250 tpe the other at 162 tpe they are both behind the League average with starter Rejoignez being only minus 168 behind the League average. they have two wide receivers on the roster with top tier wide receiver possibly the best receiver in the League Eleven Kendrick-watts at 628 TPE 334 over League average, with Quinton crash a very solid 2nd WR with 216 TPE only -41. Kansas City has two tight ends on the roster with the starterOwmy Back being at 260 TPE 4 over the League average and backup scooter McGee who is only at the base value of 50. they have one office alignment who is a solid starter with 251 tpe 47 over League average.
on defense they have two defensive ends one defensive tackle with the defensive ends being pretty average with 183 TPE and 101 TPE and the defensive tackle carrying that deepens align with 329, 116 above League average for that position. at linebacker they haveDexter Hall at 387 tpen 77 over League average one of the top tier linebackers in the League. That said back up Tay Swizzle is only at 50 TPE. in the secondary they have one good cover corner Siege Cameron with 304 TPE. other than that they need some help at cornerback and safety. back up corners have 74 TPE and 50 TPE with the safety being 206 TPE minus 109 over average and the second safety had only 50.
Kansas City has a team average 217 TPE and a team average of only minus 69 behind League starters.
Team Needs: S, CB, TE, DE
Portland Pythons 11-3 (North)
Portland is another team that has some pretty solid top in starters and decent depth was some interesting roster construction. starting at quarterback they have two on the roster with starter LeBron James at 471 tpe 52 over League average and backup quarterback panda McKyle at 215 TPE only minus 204 behind the League average. they have two running backs with starters Remus Roman at 416 TPE 98 over the League average and back up Noah Johns at 118 TPE minus 200. They have three receivers on the roster with number one receiver at 464 TPE 170 over League average an second receiver at 250 TPE only minus 44. titin is where they could really use some help they have two tight ends one at 68 TPE minus 144 and the other had only baseline 50. they have an office alignment that's going to be good in the next couple of years at 127 TPE only minus 77.
on the defensive side of the ball they have three defensive ends and one defensive tackle with defensive line starterLogan Anderson at 284 TPE 27 over and second power rusher defensive in at 196 TPE – 61. Neighbor defensive tackle that's pretty average at 271 only minus 42 behind League averages. Portland has four linebackers currently on the roster with the top being Xavier Walls at 428 TPE, but the other ones only having 150 seventy PE or 148 PE both over 150 behind League averages. they have two solid cornerbacks both with over 200 TPE just behind League average is a top tier safety in Moe Skeeter with 391 TPE, with a backup that only has 50. they have two kickers on the team we're starting kicker Cade York at 353 TPE.
Portland has a team average of 222 total TPE with a team average of only 66 behind League starters again a pretty solid roster with very few needs as long as they don't lose too much in the draft or call ups.
Team Needs: TE, OL, DT, S
Norfolk SeaWolves 1-13 (South)
The last place NorFold SeasWolves have a lot to work on when it comes to their roster this season. They have some pretty darn good starting offensive players but need a lot of work when it comes to depth. they have quarterbackaeni Clarke who has 470 PE just under the League average as starter with two running backs both at around 260 TPE about 60 under the League average. with only one wide receiver on the roster this is where they pride neither biggest help as he only has 82 TPE minus 212 behind the League average starter. they do have four tight ends but only one decent starter with Zach Dinozzo who has 185 TPE still under the League average the other three tight ends are all about 50 tpen well under the League average starter. there are two offensive lineman with Mauler Rudy Gray as the starter at 154 TPE still minus 50 behind the League average starter with a backup with 59 TPE.
the offensive side had some really good starters and a good baseline moving forward but the defense is really where this team needs to work on improving they currently have two defensive lineman one at 88 TPE and the other 52 TPE both over 170 under the League average at defensive in they don't have a current defensive tackle on the roster. they have two linebackers with one pretty good starter DeAndre Chuggs West 297 TPE minus 13 behind League average starter with backup benjaman anchors with 173 TPE. they have two cornerbacks one at 80 tpen and one at 50 tpe both well under the 200 League average at cornerback and only one safety Calvin Harris who is at 325 TPE 10 over the League average. only one kicker on the team with 165 TPE just under 50 behind the average.
The seawolves have a team total average of about 155 TPE across the roster with the League average of minus 112 behind League starters. .
Team Needs: DT, WR, DE, CB, OL
Minnesota GreyDucks 7-7 (North)
Minnesota is another pretty well rounded team that has a really good baseline even though they were about a 500 team last year I think with continuous growth roster has good position to improve. just a quick glance at some League averages they do need more work on the offensive side of the ball then they do on the defensive side of the ball so let's take a look. they currently have two quarterbacks on the roster one at 388 TPE with backup quarterback at 236 tpen both are under the League average but starter Jacob Raske is only minus 31. they have 3 running backs on the roster with starting running back Jon Huntsman at 211 TPE still minus 107 behind League average starters with backup running back and fullback Tom Adamo at 114 TPE minus 204. they have three wide receivers on the roster with the number one and #2 receivers both at about 160 TPE still about -135 behind League averages. two tight ends with the starter being their best offensive player in regards to League averages at 250 TPE 38 above League average. they currently have no offensive lineman on the roster.
on the defensive side of the ball they have two defensive ends and two defensive tackles with the starting defensive end Mills Wallace at 170 TPE minus 187 with backup duck Awntop at 127 TPE minus 137 the two defensive tackles are both pretty solid with the starter at 380 TPE 67 above League average and the number 2 defense attack with 252 TPE. they have two good linebackers on this team, with David Frank at a 233 TPE minus 77 Ann Brooks Bane at 162 TPE at minus 148. back in the secondary they have three cornerbacks and two safeties with their best cornerback being Anton bruckner with 430 TPE 158 over League average with the number 2 Amy Wong at 299 TPE 27 over League average at even their third cornerback is at 252 TPE only minus 20. there are two safeties are both really good with ball Hawk Tim Soulja at 490 PE 94 over League average and captain John price at 266. the ducks have the best kicker in the League withluteus Maximus at 417 TPE.
The ducks have the third best team average TPE at 233 and one of the few teams with a + 62 when it comes to League average starters
Team Needs: OL, WR, TE,
Tijuana Luchadores 8-6 (South)
The luchadors are a very interesting team as they on paper have one of the better rosters in the League with a total team average of 280 which is League leading and a team average of plus five when it comes to League starters. not quite as good at at average starters then the grey ducks but still a higher TPE average when it comes to their roster. they currently have quarterback IsHe, who's that 313 TPE minus 106 behind League averaging is currently the only quarterback on the roster. they have one running back in speedback Lonnie Jackson at 353 TPE 35 over the League average. they have one wide receiver on the roster at 172 tpe minus 122 and only one tide in on the team at 238 TPE plus 26. they have 3 offensive lineman all are some of the better lineman in the League with Cade Williams at 430 TPE 226 over the League average and Maiteers Rico-Shea at 348 TPE plus 144 and even a third offensive lineman emperor de Pengu who is still plus when it comes to League averages of 218 TPE plus 14.
on the defensive side of the ball they only have one defensive van and zero defensive tackles with the lone defensive in being power rusher Gyles Marett at 176 TPe -81. They have two linebackers on the roster with devante crook at 480 PE 98 over League average an Marcus Jones at 260 TPE only minus 50. two cornerbacks on the rosters that are both pretty good Sir Peter Jackson at 262 TPE only minus ten with cover corner at 161 TPE minus 111. with two good safeties on the roster romulus Roman at a 378 TPE plus 63, and a backup safety at 270 PE only minus 45 and kicker Jean Jacques Leroy at 224 TPE +2.
Asset previously the luchadors have one of the better average tpen on the roster but still need a lot of help because of lack of depth so they'll be adding quite a bit of positions just to add depth to the current roster.
Team Needs: DT ,QB, RB, WR, DE
Here are some other charts to kind of look at how each team stacks up when it comes to quarterback and running back.
I could build a chart like this for East position but this is already getting pretty long so I'll probably stop here. That's add the other thing that I'm missing is just overall stats and the simulation itself. these stats are purely based on TPE in roster construction and how they compare next to League average starters. obviously, the plus minus is probably don't mean too much in the grand scheme of things as I just take the average of the starters and compare them there so obviously the depth players or the players that have just started will not be as close to that average starter then that players that are getting ready to get called up so those things can change overall. that said they still should give it relatively solid look at just how the rosters are currently constructed an what they may be looking at when they go into the draft and look at free agents and stuff of that nature on how they want to build.
thanks for reading.
