Matchup Predictions
Week 8:
London Royals @ Kansas City Coyotes
Royals-21 Coyotes-17
This is a pretty evenly matched game I think, especially with it being in KC. The last time these teams faced off, the Royals came out on top 23-17, and this time I think will be very much alike. Although a possible game-changer this time is Keira Tenoh as she is on a hot streak and in the race for OPOTY right now as she should with 789 yards and 7 touchdowns, both of those being 2nd in the league. If Keira can find her holes in this game then it can be a one-sided game for London. Although we can't count out the Coyotes as they have Gimmy Jaroppolo Jr. who is second in the league in passing yards and has 10 TD with no INTs. KC also has the 2nd best rush defense in the league to try and stop Keira. So depending on how these 2 players play, I think we are in for a treat of a game.
Dallas Birddogs @ Minnesota Grey Ducks
Grey Ducks-34 Birddogs- 20
These teams just played in Dallas and Minnesota won 33-22 so I think this week won't be too different. They each know each other a little better and are fresh off each other so both teams will probably play better than before. Plus Dallas might be treating this game as a revenge game, and that could help or hurt a lot depending on how they handle it. Ultimately I think the death of the birddogs here is their 7th ranked pass defense up against Kazimire Oles Jr who is the #1 QB in the league right now and is showing no signs of slowing down. I say Kazimir torches the Birdogs defense and pulls out the big win.
Tijuana Luchadores @ Portland Pythons
Pythons-14 Luchadores-10
This game unlike the rest I don't think will be too interesting considering they are both 3-4 and will be low-scoring because of the lack of offensive talent on both sides. Although Portland does have the #3 rusher in yards, Noah has only reached the endzone on 3 occasions. The Tijuana Rush defense is also top-notch as they only allow 85 rush yards a game. expect this to not be very high-scoring and not much rushing.
Norfolk Seawolves @ Bondi Beach Buccaneers
Seawolves-38 Buccaneers-24
The last time these two teams met, the Seawolves blew the Buccaneers out of the water. In week 1 the Seawolves won 41-21 thanks to a monstrous performance by Raeni Clark as he passed for 225 yards and 3 TDs while adding on another 84 yards and 2 TDs on the ground. Even though the Buccaneers have the #1 Pass defense in the league, Clark just has their number and that is not changing this week. I am predicting another big game for him here. The Buccaneers have not won a game yet this season and that is not changing this week.
Week 9:
Bondi Beach Buccaneers @ Dallas Birddogs
Buccaneers-27 Birddogs-24
I have a big upset alert here as the Buccaneers win their first game of the season in a nail-biting win. The main factor I have for the Buccaneers winning this game is the passing game, as they have the #1 pass defense and #3 pass Offence in the league compared to the Birddog's #7 pass defense and #5 pass offense. Both teams are at the bottom of the pack when it comes to defense which is why I think it'll be a relatively high-scoring game. The Buccaneers should watch out for Ricky Stanzi though as he has a high TD-INT ratio with 14 TDs and 4 INTs.
Minnesota Grey Ducks @ Portland Pythons
Grey Ducks-31 Pythons-14
This Grey ducks team is phenomenal, their only "weakness" is rushing, and that's not even bad, it is still in the top half of the league. They are #1 in points scored and points allowed as well as #1 in offensive yards. The last time these two teams met, it was a surprise victory from the pythons as they won 16-6. This won't happen again on account of Oles Jr and the rest of Minnesota will take this as a revenge game and go into Portland ready to roll. They will not let Portland embarrass them again, and they will get the easy win.
Kansas City Coyotes @ Norfolk Seawolves
Coyotes-34 Seawolves-10
The last time these two played it ended a blowout win by the Coyotes 39-0 as the Seawolves just couldn't handle the Coyotes' top offense as they allowed a total of 536 yards compared to their only 140. This game will be no different as Jarroppolo Jr and the rest of the Coyotes will drown the Seawolves in points and the Seawolves won't be able to catch up.
London Royals @ Tijuana Luchadores
London-31 Luchadorres-20
This game has the same feeling as the last one as the last time these guys played, London won 41-10. London has a very young and explosive offense if they can click and show their chemistry. The Luchadores have the #1 rush defense in the league to counter Keira Tenoh, so London will have to find their pass attack in this game to win, and I think they will do just that. Dustin Parmalee might not have the most yards in the league, but that mainly because he also has the least amount of passes attempted. What he does have though is the highest completion percentage and a great supporting cast to help him in the air attack.
Week 10:
Norfolk Seawolves @ London Royals
Royals-38 Seawolves-17
Keira Tenoh is a beast. She showed this in the last game between these 2 and she will this time as well. Norfolk has the worst rush defense in the league and London has the best rush offense so I am predicting another HUGE game for Keira on the ground. Norfolk also allows the most points per game and most yards per game while also not being able to show much on offense. This will be a very one-sided game in London's favor as Keira will just raise her OPOTY chances.
Kansas City Coyotes @ Minnesota Grey Ducks
Grey Ducks-38 Coyotes-34
#1 team vs #2 team will not disappoint. That is the story of this matchup, this will be a battle of the offenses as the #1 and #2 scoring offenses in the league faceoff. The Drey ducks have the Gunslinging Oles Jr and the Coyotes have the equally as gunslinging Jaroppolo Jr. #1 WR Troy abed of KC and #2 WR Mason Malone of Minnesota will be adding to this offensive show. This will be a very good and high-scoring game with a game of the year possibilities.
Portland Pythons @ Dallas Birddogs
Pythons 17 Birddogs-10
The Pythons have a really good defense, but their downfall is their offense which is the complete opposite for the Birddogs, This will be a low-scoring game due to this but I do expect to see some good rushing by the Pythons and good passing by the Birddogs. John and Stanzi will be the highlights of this game as they try and carry their team to the win. Unfortunately for Stanzi though, the Pythons have an elite DB group.
Tijuana Luchadores @ Bondi Beach Buccaneers
Luchadores- 21 Buccaneers-17
If the luchadores can handle their Pass defense then they could have one of the top defenses in the league, but they can't seem to handle and stop the pass, and it may be their downfall. The buccaneers on the other hand are the opposite. The only upside to their defense and offense is their passing game. If the Buccaneers can dominate the passing game and just hold the Luchadores a little they can come out on top. If the Luchadores can stop the pass some bit and score then they can win this game.
Week 11:
Minnesota Grey Ducks @ Tijuana Luchadores
Minnesota-41 Tijuana-17
The Minnesota offense is 1st in every category except rushing me the Tijuana defense is only good in rushing defense, so I would expect this game to be very one-sided. The Tijuana offense is middle to back of the league in all categories and Minnesota defense is 1st or 2nd in everything except rushing. So get ready for I’m Oles Jr magic as last time these two played he had 397 yards for 5 TDs and 1 INT.
Norfolk Seawolves @ Dallas Birddogs
Birddogs-21 Seawolves-17
Norfolk is in last in rushing defense and middle-tier in pass defense, and last time these teams played the Birddogs took advantage of that by putting up 2 players with 100+ rushing yards. The Seawolves did have a pretty good passing game though as that was the only thing keeping them in the game. Clark put up 329 yards and 2 TDs while Stanzi only put up 137 yards with no TDs and 1 INT. I am expecting the Birddogs to come out and attack that weak run defense while Clark tries to keep up with his passing attack.
Bondi Beach Buccaneers @ London Royals
Royals-31 Buccaneers-17
These teams both have their strengths and weaknesses that the other will try and exploit. The Royals' being their pass defense and the Buccaneers' being their rush defense. Unfortunately for both teams, their weakness is the other team's strength. The Buccaneers' only strong suit is their passing offense and defense while the Royals whose whole offense is a strong point except passing, and who have an upper-medium defense all around. But even more unfortunately for the Buccaneers is that the RB for London is Keira Tenoh, the leading back in the league. So like the previous time these two met, which London won 34-17 let us expect a lot of running by London and a lot of passing by Bondi Beach.
Portland Pythons @ Kansas City Coyotes
Coyotes-27 Pythons-21
This game last time was very evenly matched as the score was 20-14 Coyotes won and the difference maker then was that the Pythons had to punt two more times compared to the Coyotes kicking FG those 2 extra times. The Coyotes Offence is among the top in the league while the Pythons defense is among the top of the league as well. This game will be interesting and fun to watch, especially when the Coyotes have the ball.
Week 12:
Bondi Beach Buccaneers @ Kansas City Coyotes
Coyotes-38 Buccaneers-14
I feel bad for Bondi Beach cause they are going to get killed here. Their bottom defense is going to be no match for the Coyotes' top-tier offense. The Buccaneers are allowing an average of 28.9 points/game while the Coyotes are averaging scoring 26.6 points. This will be a field day for Jaroppolo Jr and Abed. Although if that doesn't happen be expected to see a lot of success on the rushing attack for the Coyotes.
Minnesota Grey Ducks @ London Royals
Royals-27 Grey Ducks-24
Keira Tenoh. That is going to be who the Royals hope to ride on. This Grey Ducks defense is top of the line in everything except for stopping the run, while London has strength at rushing as they have the leading rusher and leading rushing attack. So this will be the story of the game and it will be an interesting one. The last time these two played was way back in week 1 where the Grey Ducks pulled off the victory 31-10. There is a difference in this game though, and that is Keira Tenoh. Yes I know she was here in week 1 but she was not at her full potential, which she is still not at yet but she is a ton better and could be a difference-maker in this game. Also important in this game is Bradley Welch as his best game this season came week 1 in the first matchup between these 2 and he is looking to repeat that.
Portland Pythons @ Norfolk Seawolves
Pythons-24 Seawolves-21
Portland won't allow many points but also won't score much, while Norfolk will allow a lot of points and score a decent amount of points too. So this game will be interesting as it all depends on who will be able to hold off the longest because both these teams are not that great except for a few things, which they will try and use to their advantage. Portland can run and Norfolk can pass so if the other team can just neutralize that then they should be able to win.
Tijuana Luchadores @ Dallas Birddogs
Dallas-17 Luchadores-13
Tijuana has the best rush defense but the worst pass defense, but that shouldn't be too big of a problem because the Birddogs rush attack is pretty good while passing is not that good. The Birddogs defense versus the Luchadores offense is pretty fair matched as well. The last time these two met was back in week 5 and was a very low-scoring game as the Brddogs won 14-13. If Tijuana can slow down Stanzi then I believe they can win this game, but if they can then Dallas will win.
Week 13:
Dallas Birddogs @ London Royals
Royals-34 Birddogs-31
This is a big rivalry, and the games between these 2 show it. The last time they played each other was week 6 and the Birddogs won 24-31. I expect a lot of scoring in this one as well due to both teams having high-powered offenses and great players. London will try and use Keira to their advantage but may not succeed against the stingy Dallas rush defense. The Dallas pass defense is not as good though so expect some good passing by Parmalee, and on the other side of the ball expect some good rushing as the London rush defense is not the best.
Tijuana Luchadores @ Kansas City Coyotes
Coyoyes-31 Luchadores-24
The Coyotes beat the Luchadores to no one's surprise in week 6, although it was a lot closer than it should have been. And because of this, I think that the same might happen here. Jarropolo will pass all over Tijuana but Tijuana will bounce back with a passing attack of their own. Last game Abed went for 163 yards and 2 TDs last time and he'll do it again. ReallyInvisible is a sleeper on Tijuana as last time he put up 250 and 2 TDs.
Norfolk Seawolves @ Minnesota Grey Ducks
Grey Ducks-41 Seawolves-10
Do I even have to say anything about this game? I'm pretty sure we all know what the outcome of this game will be. The Grey ducks are one of the best teams in this league and Norfolk is just not. Clark while good will not be able to keep up with Oles, and the same goes with Holford and Huntsman. Huntsman is a top RB while Holford is not. It is also a battle of highest-scoring Offence vs highest-scoring aloud defense.
Portland Pythons @ Bondi Beach Buccaneers
Pythons-28 Buccaneers-14
This match is like the previous one but not as serious, as the Pythons have the second-best defense and the Buccaneers have the worst offense. The only "strength" that the Buccaneers have will be of no use to them as the Pythons have an amazing pass defense that will be able to stop them easily. Zayn is a great QB but unfortunately, this game will take a hit on his stats.
Week 14:
Dallas Birddogs @ Bondi Beach Buccaneers
Birddogs-31 Buccaneers-27
This game is a rematch of what I think will be the Buccaneers' first win of the season, but unfortunately, I don't think they do it again. By now Stanzi will be much better than before and the rest of the Birddogs will be looking for some revenge. If Stanzi can get going in the air n this game then the Birddogs can win this game easily, so that's what this game will be about, the passing of Stanzi.
Norfolk Seawolves @ Tijuana Luchadores
Luchadores-21 Seawolves-10
Tijuana is in the middle of the pack in almost every category while Norfolk is at the bottom. The last matchup between these 2 was week 8 and Tijuana won 34-24. Both QBs had an amazing game but ReallyInvisibe just had the better day against the worse defense. Miracle whip also had a really good game and might repeat it against this Norfolk defense.
London Royals @ Portland Pythons
Royals-27 Pythons-20
London beat Portland 20-9 in week 8 and it is going to be about the same here. The London rushing attack will just be too much for Portland's defense, even if they do have a good rushing defense. Portland though will try and keep up with their passing attack but it will be no match and London will end the season with a big W.
Kansas City Coyotes @ Minnesota Grey Ducks
Grey Ducks-31 Coyotes-24
The Grey Ducks will end the season with a big game against the Coyotes. This will be one of the harder games that they play this season but they will still be able to pull off the win. Oles Jr is just too much to handle for the Coyotes, although the Coyotes have a QB of their own that could cause some trouble in Jaroppolo Jr. The thing that will kill the Coyotes is their defense as it is going up against the top offense in the league and will have a lot on their plate.
Here are my Standings Predictions
North:
London Royals 12-2
Minnesota Grey Ducks 12-2
Kansas City Coyotes 9-5
Portland Pythons 7-7
South:
Dallas Birddogs 7-7
Tijuana Luchadores 5-9
Norfolk Seawolves 3-11
Bondi Beach Buccaneers 1-13
Playoff Predictions
Conference Championships:
Minnesota Grey Ducks @ London Royals
Royals-35 Grey Ducks-34
The series between these 2 is tied 1-1 right now and this is the biggest game yet between them. Like the other 2 games, both teams have a strength they will try and use and a weakness of their opponents they will try and exploit. Minnesota Rush defense will have to step it up because by now Keira Tenoh will be at the best she has ever been and will be ready to destroy whoever gets in her way. London will have to step up their pass defense as on the other side of the ball the Grey Ducks have Kazimir Oles Jr who is the best QB in the league and can throw it all over defenses. The deciding factor in this game may just be a home-field advantage. So everyone gets ready for the game of the year.
Tijuana Luchadores @ Dallas Birddogs
Luchadores-24 Birdogs-17
The series between these 2 is being dominated by Dallas right now and I might see that changing. This matchup takes place in Dallas so that will make it even harder for Tijuana to play well in this game. It's a top-notch rush attack vs a top-notch rush defense so that is pretty fairly even, but Tijuana does have a pretty good pass attack to go against Dallas' poor pass defense so if ReallyInvisible can catch a spark and the Tijuana defense can hold Stanzi then I see Tijuana winning this close game.
Ultimini:
Tijuana Luchadores @ London Royals
Royals-42 Luchadores-20
The Royals are easily the better team here, especially if Keira and Parmalee are firing o all cylinders. The Tijuana rush defense is the best in the league but They still won't be able to stop Keira, although they may be able to slow her down. But if they do then Parm and the Royals Receivers will get beat them. The Royals Defence will also do very well because the Tijuana offense is not that good except for ReallyInvisible. Lucid and Hawkins are top-notch defenders and won't allow anything to happen.
