A quarter of the way through the season your player receives a letter requesting they show up for a young fan's birthday party. Do they go? If so, what do they do to make the day memorable for the child? If not, why?
Kai Marshall cares about two things; football, and his native country, Australia. Not a lot of American football players come from Australia, there they have a completely different game that might be similar to American football at first glance, but in reality, it is not. It is rare for him to receive letters from fellow Aussies because of this, but whenever he does, he makes sure to respond back. It was no different with eleven year old Tucker Smith. Tucker wrote in a letter: Dear Kai, My name is Tucker, and I am a huge fan. I am from Darwin, Australia, same as you! I look up to you and hope to be just like you someday. I was wondering if you would like to come to my twelfth birthday party on Saturday to play some American football with us. With that, Kai was sold. He bought a plane ticket back to his home town of Darwin to come visit Tucker. Soon enough, half the city showed up to greet Kai. Kai's love for Australia has not faded, even while he lives in Norfolk Virginia as a DSFL player. He ended up getting Tucker a didgeridoo, Australia's native instrument, and a 500 dollar Fortnite gift card since he figured Tucker would never use the didgeridoo. [215 Words]
After receiving a letter from the parents of a young fan, Johnny Jones Jr., Matt Cross was excited to surprise the kid at his 12th birthday party. He talked with the parents to get details on the party and to discuss the idea he had for how to make his appearance and get their approval. His idea was to get a giant cake made and hide inside of it, and when young Johnny goes to blow out his birthday candles, Cross would leap out the top and yell "Happy Birthday!" Alongside this plan, Cross invited teammate and good friend Jimi Desoto with him, to also hide inside of the cake. On the day of the party, the cake had to be moved with a dolly to get it over to the dining area outside. Matt and Jimi hid in the cake while the kids were all distracted opening presents, and the moment they leaped out as Johnny approached the cake put the biggest smile on the boy's face. He was utterly shocked and ecstatic to see the two suddenly appear almost magically out of the cake. After their grand entrance, the two of them played flag football with all of the kids, and they made sure to let the birthday boy get a ton of big plays. To close out the night, Matt gave Johnny Jr. season tickets to the Liberty games this season!

Being from Dreamland, Tim Soulja received a letter one day from a local fan. It was from a little Waddle Dee named Deedle. He once met Soulja at one of his Waddle Dees of Dreamland events where Soulja gave out toys to all the Dees, giving back to his community! Deedle was so grateful to meet him and was so happy for the gift that, when his birthday party was getting planned, he sent an invite to Tim! Soulja gladly accepted and attended, and he was ecstatic that he knew he was making a lasting impression on the youth in his area.
Soulja flew in on his trusty warp star and was fortunate the party aligned on his day off from practice. Deedle’s family set up the party and it was all football and air ride themed, the exact interests that Soulja had growing up! It made Tim so proud knowing that he’s making a difference and nostalgic since it reminded himself of his own childhood. The Waddle Dees all got together and celebrated through their traditional cake and spear throwing festivities. Soulja joined in, but wasn’t very good with the spear! Deedle laughed and actually taught Soulja how to properly use it, somewhat… It didn’t really help in the end, but everyone had a good time. Soulja ended the night by sucking up the cake, like every other food he eats, but he made sure Deedle got his slice first! Deedle and Soulja then had a game of catch with the football and even had an air ride race afterwards. Soulja even let Deedle use his own air ride machine and that made him even happier! Overall it was a great night, one neither which would ever forget. Finally, Soulja gave Deedle his present- 4 season tickets to any ISFL/DSFL franchise of his choosing and a signed DSFL Grey Ducks football. Deedle said it was the best birthday ever! Words: 320
Matt Cross approached me about helping out with the birthday of a fan who had written the team, Johnny Jones Jr. As Cross explained the idea, which involved jumping out of a giant cake to surprise the kid, DeSoto realized this was a fantastic opportunity for his side business. For a long time now DeSoto had been secretly been operating as a cross country drug dealer, and with Johnny Jones Jr. being the only Liberty fan in Mexico, it provided a perfect opportunity for smuggling cocaine within the giant cake. Despite Cross's well established preference for LSD in training camp as previously documented, he was a big narc when it came to cocaine, so he was kept in the dark about the project. DeSoto made sure to buy an extra cake for the party, as the big one would be used to stash the drugs. After the teammates jumped out the cake and brought great joy to the party, DeSoto proclaimed he would clean up the cake himself as a favor, and quickly wheeled the contraband away. When he returned sniffling, he dominated the flag football game, taking it a little too seriously, making absolutely sure Johnny Jones Jr.'s team won. He proceeded to put Johnny on his shoulders and take a sprint around the block. Johnny said he felt like he was flying and that Jimi was way cooler than Matt, at least that's how DeSoto remembered it.
A young boy asked Ripoff CheeseBrand to go to his Birthday party seeing that hes not busy on that day he says "I would love to go!" Then he prepares a way to make it memorable. Ripoff CheeseBrand knows hes getting the Young Boy a Signed Football and a card. He had 3 plans 1. Try to get some other players to join him to make a surprise appearance 2. Give a football signed by the entire team instead of the normal football. 3. Teach him some football and play football with them. He chose... all of them. When it came time for the party everyone there except for the young boy and his parents was surprised, apparently the boy kept it a secret. Everyone had a good time.
