Half of the season is already over, and no matter how your team has done this season, there is always standout players/users. Pick a standout teammate that has been doing well this season. Whether it has been through their performance on the field this season or through their impact in the locker room, this is your chance to say something nice about a teammate that you want to recognize.
There have been a ton of people on our team that have been performing way above expectations. I think all the rookies are going to be on this list somewhere, including myself. The rookies have really been able to contribute right off the bat, which has been fantastic to see. We know that the Philadelphia Liberty will have a bright future with how great our rookies are doing in their first seasons in the league. I think one player has been performing even better than expectations, Xavier Walls. Despite the lack of experience at this level, he has been putting up insane numbers. He's near the top of the league in tackles and sacks, and has several interceptions and nearly 10 pass deflections. Those are near defensive player of the year level numbers, let alone him just being a rookie. He is my current favorite to win Defensive Rookie of the Year and I don't think it is particularly close. I think with the amount of young contributors on defense as well as some new faces on offense, the Liberty will be contenders for a long time coming. We've had some veterans that have been mentoring really well, showing us newbies how it's done!
