Hey, my name is Netlandic aka Jaycee Higgins, and I just recreated. So to learn a bit more about me/my player, here is a playlist of songs my player listens to on gameday to pump them up!
Alarm: One Dance by Drake
The 2016 Summer Hit is one to not forget. The beat can really get anyone moving, no matter what kind of music you like. It's a nice song to get started for the day and a song to really help recognize that today...is game day.
Song #1: Chosen One by Polo G
One of my favorite songs no doubt, the amount of passion put into the lyrics by Polo G really helps fuel that mindset of going to become the best. And a guitar and Polo G always seem to mix for some reason.
Song #2: It's Gonna Be Me by NSYNC
Now I know what you're thinking already...Net how do you go from Polo G to NSYNC in a playlist? Well, you just do. Something about this song just makes me feel in the zone about whatever I'm doing. Mariokart, football, sleeping, anything! So the Higgins list adds this bop to it as Song #2 at warmups.
Song #3: Invincible by Pop Smoke
One of the best beat drops in hip hop right now, the late Pop Smoke produced one of the best hype tracks I've ever listened to. Perfect for getting into that gameday feeling, and getting pumped up to feel like you are gonna moss someone.
Song #4: 4 Da Gang by 42 Dugg feat. Roddy Ricch
Sampling the Scorpions song, "No One Like You", 42 Dugg and Roddy Ricch made one of the best songs of 2021 so far in Hip Hop. 42 Dugg might not have the voice that everyone likes, but give it a listen. It's really a great use of a sample and the rappers use their best qualities to make this hit. Very good for gameday too
Song #5: Headshot by Lil Tjay feat. Fivio Foreign and Polo G
The young talented Lil Tjay presents us Headshot, with the drill artist Fivio Foreign and Chicago's finest Polo G. Each rapper got a pretty solid verse, even a beat switch for Fivio Foreign's verse. The violin also is amazing to listen to and mixed with the drums creates the beat that really hypes up people.
Song #6: Jetski by Internet Money feat. Lil Mosey and Lil Tecca
I'm a big fan of Internet Money, the producers Nick Mira and Taz Taylor have made hit after hit after hit, together or not. Lil Mosey has been a rapper I've been listening to for a few years now and his growth has been great, and Tecca presents the lyrical factor that
makes him really good. It's more of an upbeat summer song but still can get you hyped, which I really love.
Song #7: Ramen & OJ by Joyner Lucas feat. Lil Baby
Lil Baby is the Lamar Jackson of rap, at the top of the game and Joyner Lucas comes back after his song Will was one of the top rap songs in 2020 with Ramen & OJ. The title I really liked, I don't know food names in rap really intrigue me. Anyways, yeah I like this song.
I'm gonna leave it here, I know the song descriptions were short but if I were you you should check these songs out to get a better way of getting your opinion. So hey that's me and feel free to leave your thoughts!
