14. Describe your player and/or team’s journey through this latest season. What were the highlights? What were the lower points? What might you have done differently? What are your expectations for next season? (5 TPE)
Cue Jr. career started with a bang. Pulling great numbers, rushing touchdowns left and right, catching passes short and long, what a fantastic season he had, he has to be a lock for the rookie of the year award. Wait... Am i looking at the right stat line? Oops... Let me rephrase it then: Cue Jr had probably the shittiest season ever from a running back that had games as a RB1. He played 16 games, rushed 149 times for 520 yards (not a lot by any means), averaging 3.5 yards per carry and for a grand total of 4 Touchdowns. Not bad for a rookie hey? Who am i kidding, it sucked.
This just shows that the new sim is way less forgiving to rookie running backs. I remember that with DDSPF 16 a rookie RB could pretty much carry his team on occasions, and put up very respectable stats to fight the position veterans. But nowadays, the'21 sim destroyed those possibilities. Still, i am pretty happy to have been called up in the first season (Sorry Norfolk Seawolves), so that i could see for myself how this works.
The fact that i had a pretty underwhelming season at least means that the only way is up. I am not preoccupied with HoF careers, Most valuable player awards or pro bowls, but i do know that as an offensive player, the better i do stat wise, the closer the team gets to winning games and championships.
As for the team, the Yellowknife Wraiths, despite Cue Jr. not having great numbers, this meant the the offense had to blow up the defenses. Colby Jack pulled up MVP numbers, throwing for nearly 6000 yards, 44 TDs and 13 INTs, with Kai Sakura and Mark Walker getting 1838 and 1471 yards, for 15 a 12 TDs repectively. Incredible numbers. Even the TE, Zee Rechs, racked up 10 TDs, with Cue getting 3. All in all, the numbers show that YKW had a good season, but unfortunately for them, 10 wins were not enough to get a playoff spot, as Sarasota, Colorado and Berlin managed a few more. And coming fresh from an Ultimus game win, not getting into the post season in the next season has to be considered a failed season for the team. YKW is used to having winning seasons, and the fact that they are now all at home watching the games in tv show they need to do much better in season 30.

21. Now thats three seasons on the new sim. What are your thoughts? Do you think that it is better than DDSPF16? (2.5 TPE)
I was never a sim freak in my time here. Adding to that, since i am in europe, i rarely get to see the games live, so i miss most discussions about plays (stupid ones normally) that happen during the games. So what i knew from DDSPF 16 was the most common things users "complained" about, like the 79 speed QB, or the punting at 4th and 1 while 1 point down with 1 minute to go on the game, classic stuff.
So far, while i am also not involved with this sim setup, the complaints seem to have dropped, from my perspective. There are still some "perks" this sim offers its users, but i do feel like it more balanced, the home field advantage weight was reduced, bringing more parity to the league.
The sim is still going to sim sometimes, so stronger teams will still lose to weaker ones when nobody is expecting it. And, of course, it is only a matter of time, if it did not happen already, for someone with time and knowledge, to "break" the sim and find some kind of exploit in it that they will use to their advantage. I can't wait to learn about it in like 10 seasons or more.
