Still Pending two more tasks
16. This task is exclusive to recreate/non-recreate rookies of the S30 class and later. The season is over and the draft is coming up. What do you bring to a team, and why should a team choose to take a chance on you next season? The season is done, or was done for quite a while for the players and fans in Bondi Beach, Bondi players had their trips to Maine, Canada, and Russia booked by week 14 of the league due to Bondi's less than stellar start to the season. But that's besides the point, and the players especially the rookies had to leave it all on the field to impress those big ISFL clubs they yearn to play for. For Pizzaman he wont be the perennial pro-bowler or stat leader, Instead he will be the defensive cornerstone, need a big stop and he will be there, defense needs a turnover, Pizzaman will be the one to shake up the quarterback. Pizzaman was always the good energy in the locker room, in college he would always invite the new recruits to his massive compound where he would welcome them with open arms and tap the kegger for them. In the ISFL Pizzaman will be no different, whether its hyping up the sidelines, or trying his hardest when he is in on the snap you can count on the Pizzaman to be fast, quick, and hot or your money back! Hopefully the scouts heard him loud and clear and know he is ready to make an impact no matter where he is needed! Code: 218 words 19. If your player had a show starring them, what would the plot be? Graphic Option: Create the cover art for your player’s show 22. You’re in charge of entertainment for the Ultimus or Ultimini half-time show. What would you do? The time is ticking down on the Ultimus game, 10, 9, 8, 7... the Fire Salamanders and Silverback players rush to their respective lockerooms for the intense and crucial halftime rest and recovery before the final 30 minutes of the season. None of that matters for the casual fan who are watching on YoutubePlus and TwitchPlatinum who have the exclusive rights and are each having their own halftime shows! You heard it! Two halftime shows at the same dang time. On the Fire Salamanders side the YouTubePlus stream is featuring the puppybowl 2.0 where full trained teams of puppies duel while the musical selections of the Naked Brothers Band is playing on stage right behind them- the crowd is going wild singing CRAAAAaaaaAAAaaazy CAAAAAR. Meanwhile, simultaneously the TwitchPremium stage has something for those New York faithful and its you guessed it the Red Panda aka the greatest halftime performer in the world, and as she is unicycling and catching bowls the stylings of X Æ A-12 is performing his top 10 billboard hit, Tesla Gang, which has rocked the TikTok charts and is the most popular song in the universe after being the only song distributed to the Mars Colony from his father Mr. Musk. Well Times up for half-time, back to boring football Code: 214 words Well if my position was not able to be picked when I was creating my player I think I would have probably chosen to be on the offensive line, why, I'm not really sure. I think ultimately it would be due to not having as much pressure on me to perform. if I was to pick an offensive player I would be too afraid to let my team down by having a crappy player in the sim. On the O-line, you give up a sack or two, you miss some blocks you can easily blame it on the QB for not being fast enough or the full back or half back for not picking up my slack. Also, I was not built for speed having a very pizza heavy diet due to my various sponsorships. Its hard to keep off weight when you eat more pizza than mister David Portnoy. I'm happy that I was able to find my place on the defensive side of the ball though and this is only a writing prompt because well even less pressure to perform, if the defense gives up a big play, well I was just in the trenches no one expects me to do much besides get a few pass deflections and plug up some holes. I love the defensive line, but second choice would definitely be the offensive line. 9. Through a random lottery drawing, you have been named the league's new commisioner for a day. Congrats! What improvements would you make to the league if you had the power to do whatever you wanted? (5 TPE)
The Coronation of King Commish DELIRIVM has finished and he has climbed upon his ISFL Throne to decree the new changes to the league. I first decree that no longer will we do 16 weekly predictions per season. Instead we will only do four quarterly predictions! These will be worth quadruple the points as we must pick all the games at the same time. The selections will allow for lesser time needed to remember when predictions are to happen and they will allow for less easy picks for those with their thumb to the pulse of the league. THIS HAS BEEN DECREED! My second decree is that sims will be commentated for one game per sim session and for all playoff games. These commentators will be pulled from a number of volunteers who will be paid $3,000,000 per game commentated. Each member will earn an extra $2,000,000 per commentated game if they are able to pull of a John Madden voice as they do it. There should be at least 3 Booms per broadcast. THIS HAS BEEN DECREED! My third decree is that all players with stupid names be forced to rename their player. Free for the first rename but increasing in price per name change. If the player refuses to rename their player they will be assigned a name by a random name generator and forced to buy Taco Bell for their entire team. If any player does not live in the vicinity of a Taco Bell, they will be asked their nearest fast food restaurant and then provide a list of items they want off the menu for the offender to buy them. THIS HAS BEEN DECREED! My fourth decree will allow one multi per user. This user must use this multi on the opposite side of the ball from their current player. For example, if you are a quarterback, you may create a Safety. This allows teams to grow more quickly and a player can be on multiple teams at a time. All ISFL tasks may be claimed on both players and used to grow their TPE pool. This means very little extra work while having multiple players to watch in the simulation! THIS HAS BEEN DECREED! My fifth decree, and final decree, will pertain to Ultimus Week. All tasks will be required to have a Graphic Option! No more of these writing dumb prompts that nobody, not even the graders, read. We must allow graphics for every task so that other people can browse the forum and be entertained by well done, comical, and terrible graphics that all players may want to make. We will allow people to still write but they will be actively shunned in a second thread called the Ultimus Week shun thread. Those who write will be laughed at unless they write something creative. Otherwise, all submissions must include a fun graphic of some kind. THIS HAS BEEN DECREED! [487 Words] 19. If your player had a show starring them, what would the plot be? Graphic Option: Create the cover art for your player’s show. (2.5 TPE) 23. Create a billboard, magazine cover, unique trading card, or video game cover depicting a one of the league's stars. Task 19
think if Travis had his own television show, it would likely be about him trying to balance his football career with a rapping career. In the past he's completely prioritized the rapping, obviously, but now that he has finally realized his dreams and is on his way to making the ISFL, it would be an interesting dynamic with his rapping. Would he be able to balance both of those different lifestyles and be the top of his game in both of those areas? Of course there would be celebrity drama involved since Travis came into the ISFL more famous than most of the other players just by nature of already being a celebrity before ever taking up football. Perhaps there would be some jealousy from other players in the football realm that affects Travis and his wellbeing. Really the whole package in the show, no stone is left unturned about Travis' life. Maybe its a bit toxic on Travis and his team, and that dynamic could be explored further on the show. It would definitely be more of a reality show and would not necessarily have a fixed plot like a sitcom, but it's a reality show, lets not kid ourselves into thinking there wouldn't be some outside influence on what's shown and what happens to him. Code: 217 words Task 22 So, I'm in charge of a half-time show for the Ultimini game huh? Well, being famed rapper and entertaining Travis Scott, this should be relatively easy for me. My concerts are already extremely psychedelic and sights to behold, who can forget that time I performed in Fortnite? This half-time show would be more than just a half-time show where I spend 20 minutes performing some hit songs, and then end the show having not scratched the surface. No. This is my opportunity to separate myself from anyone who claims to be my competition by blowing every other half-time performer in the history of the ISFL out of the water. There will be extreme pyrotechnics to get the crowd excited and hyped up for what can only be described as the experience they're going to watch. The pyrotechnics will just be the start of it, rather than just playing whatever songs got the most streams on Spotify, I will play what I believe to be the best of the best from my discography. Nothing will be held back, and by the end of the performance the crowd will have realized that there is no possible way they can top what they just witnessed, and that half-time shows will never be the same in sports. Code: 213 words Task 25 If tight end wasn't available when I signed up, I probably would have selected cornerback. I actually wanted to be a corner at first, but I saw on the position tracker that there were quite a few corners already in the league on every team, and decided against it so I didn't oversaturate an already saturated position. Playing on the defensive side of the ball would have been fun, directly competing against the best of the best quarterbacks in the league, who would challenge me on the regular with their passes, and the best wide receivers who would attempt to beat me to get to said passes. It would have been a fun challenge to compete against them, but alas I decided against it. After corner, my second choice was between a receiver position, either wide receiver or tight end. Ultimately I decided on tight end because I wanted to be able to provide both blocking ability and receiving ability, but that's not to say I wasn't interested in going for the more glamorous wide receivers. Receivers get more touches than tight ends, and naturally put up better stats and get more recognition, but I liked the idea of doing less receiving and also helping out on the offensive line. Tier 1, #2:
I am in the S30 Draft Class that is set to be selected in the upcoming draft next week. I haven’t really interacted with anyone in my draft class outside of my own team with the London Royals, but I’m sure that all of them are fun people. I don’t really know the situations of the ISFL teams that will be selecting us, but I can try to figure out who the best available players are and then choose where in the draft each of them should go. So first, I need to decide who are the best players. For the runningback position, I would not only choose myself, but also Miracle Whip and Jax Baker because they were also in the top five for rushing in the DSFL. Of the two starting quarterbacks in the DSFL, I would choose my own teammate, Dustin Parmelee, as the best available quarterback. At widereceiver, I am going to choose Vincent Sharpei Jr and Mason Malone. Both are currently playing on the Minnesota Grey Ducks and are not only high TPE earners, but also make up the top three in receiving yards. Also notable on the offense are tightend Nick L Back and offensive lineman Madison Beer who were outstanding for a rookie in their position. On the defensive side, the best defensiveback is another one of my teammates, Savior Hawkins. Hawkins might not be one of the top earners of TPE, but he put up some very good stats this past season and came through for the team plenty of times. But as for the rest of the defense, there aren’t many players that interest me, especially not on the defensive line. So with that I’m going to add linebacker LaCarpetron Dukemarriot as the last addition to this shortlist. That puts us at an even 10 players. Now to rank them based on how I think they’ll go. 10. Jax Baker, Runningback When compared to the other nine on the list, Jax Baker is not only the third choice player at their position, but they also comparatively have the least TPE gained of the three already selected at their position. Baker barely outperformed their teammate, only getting ahead through a larger amount of carries. 9. Madison Beer, Offensive Lineman Not only was Madison Beer not actually that impressive at their position when compared to other non-rookies in the DSFL, I’m not sure of how much of a demand there is for offensive linemen. While I put Beer in this list because they were notable enough to make the list, I’m just not sure of how they will fare in the draft. 8. Miracle Whip, Runningback Miracle Whip had an impressive season, making it to third in the league at rushing yards. But that still means that they are only the third best runningback in the league and especially when compared to the top two, Whip just doesn’t make sense to be any higher than some of these top players. 7. Nick L Back, Tightend Nick L Back was actually a bit of an afterthought when looking at the stats from this past season, but Back really impressed me with the fact that they were one of the top receivers overall while not being a widereceiver. They did not reach 1000 yards receiving, they did get the third most touchdowns, which is an achievement on its own. 6. Savior Hawkins, Defensiveback Though not the best in their position at earning TPE, Savior Hawkins showed to be one of the most valuable defensive players in the league this past season by saving the London Royals numerous times. Not only do they lead the league in passes defended, but they also picked up three forced fumbles, three interceptions, and a blocked punt. They should be highly rated by teams. 5. Kiara Tenoh, Runningback I put myself here because I don’t want to place myself too high. Kiara did really well this season, with one of the top rushing performances in the league despite splitting carries with a teammate. I also have the most TPE of any runningback in the draft class. I just think that there are players more worthy than me to be higher. 4. Moses Malone, Widereceiver Moses Malone was the best widereceiver this season with the most receiving yards and most catches in the league. They also have a lot of TPE and would easily slot into any offense. 3. Dustin Parmelee, Quarterback Dustin Parmelee is my teammate and while a bit overexcited at times, seems to be a good leader on the field. While maybe not looking better than the other quarterback on paper, Parmelee had the highest completion rate and had more completions on less attempts than the other quarterback. 2. Vincent Sharpei Jr, Widereceiver While Vincent Sharpei Jr wasn’t the top widereceiver in terms of yards, they were tied for the most touchdowns this past season and have slightly more TPE than Malone. The two of them are teammates, so it’s hard to judge between the two, but I would choose Sharpei due to the touchdown rate. 1. LaCarpetron Dukemarriot, Linebacker LaCarpetron Dukemarriot may not be the highest TPE earning linebacker, they did have a great season in the DSFL. Though they were not in the lead in every metric for rookies, they were higher than most in more metrics overall. So with that and the scarcity of defensive prospects, I think that they would be the most valuable player going into the draft.

16. This task is exclusive to recreate/non-recreate rookies of the S30 class and later. The season is over and the draft is coming up. What do you bring to a team, and why should a team choose to take a chance on you next season? Well, I think The Laz this time around will mainly bring just a nice person to the locker room. Cause truth being told right now that is my only requirement. I just want a place that I enjoy and will like to play in. The team that does get me will get a max earner which not every player in the draft can confirm and 1 of the higher bank accounts. I do not really have that big of an expectation or a better way of wording was i do expect to go very low in the draft, so if it is with a team with a respectable locker room I could see myself being quite a steal for that team. I am shocked by the scouting I have actually had so far but the future is looking a hell of a lot brighter than my last career by a country mile already. I guess I also bring a Corner Back to teams that draft me since that is my position but also flexibility a lot of the other players dont have since im willing to switch positions to whatever the team that ends up drafting me needs. It will be interesting to see what ends up happening with this draft cause I hope to help whoever win a ring. [220 words. 2.5 TPE] 18. Written option - which teammate of yours is the ultimate team player and why? How does this person exhibit selflessness and put the team first? Are they a great locker room presence who encourages others? Do they play an important but unappreciated role on the team which doesn't receive much recognition for awards? Well truth being told I have tried my best to be that ultimate team player of the Portland Pythons this season in the DSFL. Which did get rewarded by being promoted to a team captain after half a season which I am pretty happy and proud of achieving for the team I love. But if I have to pick a player that has helped me the most that wasn't a General Manager then it is my friend, Pau Adrian. Thanks to him recreating I had a chance to recreate and do a career I like, he has a fun and cool character that's fun to read and overall it is great to play with him at the Portland Pythons. I do not think he will be getting any Wide Receiver awards this season but he is without a doubt 1 of the best team mates we have and is just a great edition to the locker room. His depth and touchdowns and yards he has managed to get has massively helped albeit we only finished 7-7 this season sadly. But overall seeing him talk in the locker room has always been fun. I could really say that about all the season 30 rookies to be honest that the Pythons drafted but I really like seeing what my pal puts usually, even the banter. [223 words. 2.5 TPE = 5 TPE] 25. Imagine your current position was not available to be picked when you created your player. What other position would you have picked, and why? If I was not allowed to be a Corner Back I would just flex to a position that I have yet to pick for Lazzy. I have done Wide Receiver and Offensive Line in my 1st ISFL career, I have been a Defensive Linemen in Super Casual all my career over there and I have done kicker in GFSA albeit not for very long. Then you can throw in my shitty 2nd player which was a Running back and I am still left with a lot of options. I could be a punter only rather than a kicker, a Safety player or hell even a Line Backer. As for the offensive side I am more so limited to just Quarter Back and going Tight End as I have never done though but those would be my next player I think. I know I wouldn't get very far with a Quarter Back but with Tight End and Safety I might be able to get somewhere interesting for it. I have no idea how the engine actually tries those positions or if you can get away with low TPE in them but it would be nice to fill those spots if I needed to get that. Having said that, I will answer with punter cause yay kicking. [215 words. 2.5 TPE = 7.5 TPE] 29. Affliate PT from either SHL/PBE. TASK 29 (2.5 TPE)
SHL PT TASK 14 (5 TPE) Describe your player and/or team’s journey through this latest season. What were the highlights? What were the lower points? What might you have done differently? What are your expectations for next season? Coming into the season, the Arizona Outlaws are considering a top 3 or even top 2 contender to win it all. The team had it all on the offense. The QB Charlemagne Cortez is one of the brightest QB stars in the entire league with his amazing rookie league. He is well complemented with a whole slew of strong receivers which includes Taro Raimon, Darren Pama, and Thomas Passman. And not to be one-dimensional, their running game is the best in the league with reigning MVP Tatsu Nakamura and Deadly Memes to boot. The defensive is solid with the best safety, Jadakiss and a whole slew of solid cornerback and defensive tackles. After the entire season, the Outlaws came out of the conference in the first seed with a 11-5 record. Both ends of the team performed well with a top 3 offensive in all categories and the defense was top 2 overall in point against. They were also the unanimous best defensive to prevent the opponent's running game. There was several highlights throughout the season. Starting at Week 15, Cortez threw a career defining type game to help Arizona officially secure their 1st seed in the ASFC. He ended with a 110+ passing rating and threw over 400 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. in Week 10, Tatsu Nakamura showed he still can continue off his MVP season with a fabulous performance. He almost rushed 200 yards minus a few yards and got 3 touchdowns as a result. This performance is definitely up there in considerations as offensive performance of the year. In the playoffs, the Outlaws continue their curse of playoff anti-success with yet another exit in the ASFC playoff game. The defensive couldn't stop the passing game and Cortez had a horrid start. Moving to Raimon's season, he had another great season at catching the ball. He received over 1400 yards which almost matched his breakout season in S27. His highlight came late in the season where he starting to pick up the pace after a mediocre first half of the season. In Week 12 and 13, he caught a total of 250+ yards. In Week 16, he caught over 130 yards including the game winning touchdown in overtime. In the playoffs, he set his playoff and career high in single game reception yards with 181 yards. However this didn't come with a lowlight. In the 1st half of the game, Cortez threw to a wide open Raimon which let him run almost over 70 yards. But Raimon was tackled and he fumbled the ball into a turnover. After that, it pretty much set the tone to the end of the Outlaw's season. |
