Yes, it’s another recap thread and this time we’re doing the season twenty-eight Arizona Outlaws.. This was a very interesting season because at times The Outlaws looked unstoppable yet incredibly vulnerable at other points. There were some tight nail-biter games and some absolute blowouts. So come on a journey with me through the season 28 Arizona Outlaws game log.
Week 1: Arizona Outlaws (0-0) @ Honolulu Hahalua (0-0), Hahalua win 17-13
The first quarter was largely uneventful except for a twenty-nine yard field goal by J.J Jay-Jamison to give the Outlaws their first lead of the season 3-0 with a minute and eight seconds left to go before the second. The second was a bit more eventful as Nicholas Ayers scored on a nine yard pass from Chika Fujiwara to make it 6-3 in favor of Honolulu. Venus Powers aced the extra point to make it 7-3 Hahalua.
The Outlaws answered back quickly with a sixty-seven yard touchdown pass of their own from Charlemagne Cortez to Saba Donut to make it 10-3 after Jamison completed the extra point. Honolulu would go into the second half with the lead however after a eleven yard touchdown pass from Chika Fujiwara to Jed Podolak 14-10 in favor of the Hahalua after Powers extra point.
Venus Powers would put the Hahalua on the board first in the second half with a forty-eight yard field goal to make it 10-17 in favor of Honolulu. The Outlaws would also score in the third with a twenty-nine yard field goal of their own from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 17-13 which would be the final score game as neither team could find the endzone in the fourth quarter.
Week 2: Austin Copperheads (1-0) @ Arizona Outlaws (0-1), Copperheads win 37-30
The Outlaws took the lead early with a five yard touchdown run from Tatsu Nakamura followed by a Jamison extra point to make it 7-0 Arizona. They followed that up with another one yard touchdown run from Tatsu and an extra point from Jaimson to increase their lead to 14-0. Austin would not be shutout in the first quarter however as they retaliated with a one yard Jim The Vampire touchdown run to pull within seven, 14-7 Outlaws. In fact the game would go into the second quarter tied as the Copperheads would score again on a seventy-yard pass from Jackie Daytona to Zoe Watts to make it 14-14 at the start of the second quarter. The second quarter was largely uneventful up until the last two minutes of the half. Arizona scored on a thirty-four yard field goal from Jamison to make it 17-14 in their favor but Austin responded with a twenty-yard field goal of their own from Leo Bloomfield to make it 17-17 at the start of the second half.
As they were in the first half, Arizona was the first team to score in the second half. They scored on a six yard pass from Charlemange Cortez to Thomas Passman to make it 24-17 Arizona with ten minutes to go in the third. Austin answered back with a twenty-six yard field goal from Leo Bloomfield to make it 24-20 with Arizona still in the lead.
Arizona then extended their lead with an impressive eighty-yard touchdown pass from Charlemange Cortez to Taro Raimon to make it 31-20 Outlaws at the start of the fourth quarter. Austin proved they were done but not out in the fourth when they scored off a two yard pass from Jackie Daytona to Freidrich Vequain to make it 31-26 Outlaws. They then completed the fourth quarter comeback with three minutes and fifty four seconds left on the clock with a game clinching one yard touchdown run from Zoe Watts to give us our final score of 32-31 Copperheads.
Week 3: Arizona Outlaws (0-2) @ Orange County Otters (1-1) , Outlaws win 41-23
The Outlaws scored early with a sixty-yard touchdown pass from Charlemange Cortez to Darren Parma followed by a Jamison extra point to take the lead 7-0 in the first.
They would build on their lead in the second with an eleven yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Thomas Passman to make it 14-0 Outlaws. The Otters wouldn’t be kept off the board in the second quarter though as they scored on a fifty yard field goal by Datsum PhastBawls to make it 14-3 with three minutes left to go in the half. The Otters would score again on another field goal from Phastbawls, this time from forty-eight yards to make 14-6 Arizona at the start of the second half.
The Outlaws would score again on a forty-six yard field goal by J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 17-6 in their favor with eleven minutes in the third quarter to go. They would follow that up with a fifty-seven yard interception return touchdown by Rich Triplet to make it 24-6 Arizona leads.
The Otters answered back with a two-yard touchdown run from Jeffery Phillips to make it 24-13 at the start of the fourth quarter.
Arizona came out quick in the fourth quarter, scoring on a twenty-one yard pass from Cortez to Nakamura to make it 31-13 Arizona.
The Otters answered back with a fifty-yard goal by Datsum Phastbawls to make it 31-16 Outlaws. Tatsu Nakamura then helped increase their lead with a twenty-nine yard field goal to make it 38-16. The Outlaws weren’t done however as J.J Jay-Jamison kicked a seventeen yard field goal through the uprights with one minute and forty-six seconds left on the clock to make it 41-16 Arizona. The Otters wouldn’t go down quietly though as Garfield Despacito Jr. scored on a fifty-four yard pass from Suleiman Ramza to give us our final score of 41-23 Outlaws win their first game of the season on the road.
Week 4: New Orleans Secondline (0-3) @ Arizona Outlaws (1-2), Outlaws win 33-20
The Outlaws came out strong with a forty-three yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 3-0 Arizona. The Secondline responded with a seventy-yard touchdown pass from Ben Slothlisberger to Ed Barker to make it 7-3 New Orleans. The Outlaws would not be outscored in the first quarter however as Tatsu Nakamura broke off a four yard touchdown run to make it 10-7 Arizona. With just eleven seconds in the quarter, New Orleans would tie the game with a forty-nine yard field goal from Pseudo QB.
The first score of the second quarter was a ten yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Taro Raiman to give Arizona the lead, 17-10 Outlaws. The Outlaws would increase their lead with a forty-three yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 20-10 Arizona. Arizona could not keep New Orleans off the board in the second quarter though as Pseudo QB kicked a twenty-eight yard field goal with a minute and nineteen seconds in the first half. The score was 13-20 at the start of the third quarter.
The only score of the third quarter was a twenty-three yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 23-13 in favor of Arizona. Arizona would continue their onslaught with a twenty-two yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison followed by a sixteen yard touchdown run from Gunner Thorbjornsson to make it 13-33 Arizona. New Orleans would make one last ditch effort at a comeback however with a ten yard touchdown from Slothlisberger to Austin McCormick to make it 20-33. Their attempts would prove futile however as they would not score again and Arizona would win their second game in a row 20-33.
Week 5: Arizona Outlaws (2-2) @ San Jose Sabercats (1-3), Outlaws win 35-13
San Jose took the lead early on a three yard touchdown pass from Monterey Jack to Jamar Lackson to make it 7-0 in favor of San Jose. That would be the score as the second quarter started. McDairmid kicked a forty-six yard field goal to make it 10-0 San Jose early in the second. The Outlaws would start their comeback with a twenty-five yard touchdown run by Gunner Thorbjornsson to make it 7-10 San Jose. The Outlaws would then take the lead on a seventy-five yard touchdown from Cortez to Thomas Passmann to make it 14-10 Arizona to start the second half.
The Outlaws would increase their lead in the third with a seventeen yard touchdown from Cortez to Darren Parma to make it 21-10 Arizona. San Jose would put up a fifty-four yard field goal from Matthew McDairmid with one minute and forty three seconds in third quarter on the clock to make 21-13 Outlaws which would be the score at the start of the fourth quarter.
Arizona would annihilate the Sabercats in the fourth quarter with a six yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Tom Teboat and then a one yard touchdown run by Gunner Thorbjornsson to give us our final score of 35-13. The Outlaws win their third game in a row.
Week 6: Arizona Outlaws (3-2) @ Chicago Butchers (2-3), Outlaws win 35-32
The Butchers struck first with a one yard touchdown pass from George O’Donnell to Lucas Scabbia to take the lead 7-0 Chicago. The Outlaws would tie up before the second quarter though off of a five yard touchdown run by Tatsu Nakamura to make it 7-7 at the start of the second.
Chicago was on the board first in the second with a forty-one yard field goal by Sam Sidekick to make it 10-7 Butchers. Arizona would answer back with a forty-three yard interception return touchdown by Desmond Scarlett to take the lead 14-10 Outlaws. Sidekick would boot another field goal through the uprights, this one from fifty-four yards to make it 14-13 Outlaws. The Outlaws would then take the lead with a one yard Tatsu Nakamura touchdown run to make it 21-13 as the first half closed.
The teams traded field goals in the third. First, The Outlaws scored on a fifty-one yard field goal by J.J Jay-Jamison to increase Arizona’s lead to 24-13. The Butchers would come back with a thirty-seven yard field goal from Sam Sidekick to pull within twelve at the start of the fourth quarter.
The Butchers scored first in the fourth quarter on a thirty-one yard field goal by Sam Sidekick to make it 24-19. They would take the first lead in the second half after a twelve yard touchdown run from Baby Yoda to make it 25-24 Chicago after they failed on the two point conversion. The Outlaws would strike back though with a sixty-seven yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Thomas Passman to take the lead 32-25 Arizona.
But The Butchers would tie the game up with twenty-seconds left in the fourth on a one yard touchdown connection from George O’Donnell to Tree Gelbman to make it 32-32 at the end of regulation. These two teams would go into overtime in this game and Arizona would win their fourth game in a row with a game clinching twenty-seven yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 35-32.
Outlaws win! What a game!
Week 7: New York Silverbacks (4-3) @ Arizona Outlaws (4-2), Outlaws win 37-6
Tatsu Nakamura put the Outlaws on the board early with a forty-two yard touchdown run to make it 7-0 Outlaws. That would be the only score of the first quarter.
Tatsu Nakamura would score two more times in the second. His first a one yard touchdown run to make it 14-0 Arizona followed by a seventy-five yard touchdown run to make it 21-0 Outlaws. The Silverbacks would score in the first half however with a forty-seven yard field goal by Dougie Smalls with fifty-two seconds in the second quarter to make it 21-3 at the start of the second half.
The Outlaws would increase their lead in the third quarter with a forty-one yard field goal by J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 24-3 Outlaws. The Silverbacks would counter that with a forty-two yard field goal of their own from Dougie Smalls. 6-24 Outlaws. The fourth quarter would be all Outlaws as they scored three times. First on a twenty-six yard field goal followed by another thirty-two yard field goal by Jamison. Topped off with a one yard Tatsu Nakamura touchdown run to give us our final score of 6-37.
Outlaws win their fifth game in a row.
Week 8: Baltimore Hawks (0-7) @ Arizona Outlaws (5-2), Outlaws win 52-23
The start of this game was almost identical to the last one as Tatsu Nakamura put the Outlaws on the board early with an eight-yard for a touchdown 7-0 Outlaws. Taro Raimon would catch a twenty-seven yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to make it 14-0 Arizona. Nakamura would run it in from thirty-four yards out to give the Outlaws their third touchdown of the first quarter 21-0 Outlaws.
The Outlaws would continue to brutalize the Hawks in the second quarter. They scored four times in this quarter alone. The Outlaws first touchdown would be a forty-four yard pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Thomas Passman to make it 28-0 Outlaws. They would then score another touchdown on a six yard run by Nakamura to make it 35-0. Then just to pour salt in the wounds J.J Jay-Jamison would kick a twenty-eight yard field goal to make it 38-0 Arizona.
Finally they would score on a thirty-three yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Taro Raimon to make it 45-0 at the start of the second half. Brutal. The Outlaws would score for the final time in the third quarter with a seventeen yard pass from Cortez to Raimon to make it 52-0. Raimon’s third touchdown of the game.
Perhaps feeling guilty about the absolute beating that they had dropped on the Hawks at this point, the Outlaws took their foot off Baltimore's neck and allowed them to score on a five yard touchdown run by Busch Goose 52-7 Arizona. Somehow Charlemagne Cortez would get sacked in his own end zone by Maui Waialiki to make it 9-52 as we began the fourth quarter. Preston Parker would score on a one yard touchdown run to make it 16-52 Arizona. The final score of this game would be a three yard touchdown run by Busch Goose to make it 23-52. The final score looks a lot closer than the game actually was.
Week 9: Arizona Outlaws (6-2) @ Colorado Yeti (4-4), Outlaws win 36-14
Taro Raimon would put Arizona on the board first with a forty-two yard reception for a touchdown from Charlemagne Cortez 7-0 Outlaws. Gunner Thorbjornsson caught a fifty-one yard touchdown from Cortez to make it 14-0 Outlaws then Thomas Passman would catch a one yard touchdown pass of his own from Cortez 21-0 Outlaws to start the second quarter.
Richard Gilbert would finally put the Yeti on the board in the second quarter with an eighteen yard touchdown reception from Mattathias Caliban 21-7 Arizona. The Outlaws would retaliate with an eleven yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Gunner Thorbjornsson to make it 28-7 Outlaws. J.J Jay-Jamison would kick a twenty-one yard field goal to give us a score of 31-7 at the end of the first half.
The Yeti would score first in the second half with a one yard touchdown pass from Mattathias Caliban to Raphael Delacour to make it 31-14 Arizona. J.J Jay-Jamison would kick a thirty-five yard field goal to make it 34-14 to end the third quarter. The only score of the fourth quarter would be a Mattathias Caliban safety after he was brought down in his own end zone by Logan Noble Jr. The Outlaws win 36-14.
Week 10: Orange County Otters (4-5) @ Arizona Outlaws (7-2) , Outlaws win 28-26
The Otters got on the board first with a fifty-one yard field goal by DatSum PhastBawls to make it 3-0 Otters.The Outlaws responded with a six yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Tatsu Nakamura to take the lead 7-3 Outlaws. Nakamura would then score again with a thiry-two yard touchdown run 14-3 Arizona at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Wesley Eriksen returned an errant pass from Suleiman Ramza thirty-eight yards for a touchdown to make it 21-3 Arizona. Though Orange County would not be kept off the board in the second as DatSum PhastBawls kicked a thirty-four yard field goal through the uprights to make it 14-6 at the start of the second half.
Datsum was the only person to get on the board in the third quarter with back-to-back field goals from twenty-eight and forty-six yards out respectively to make it 21-12 as we went into the final quarter.
Gunner Thorbjornsson added to the Outlaws lead with a forty-six yard touchdown run to make it 28-12 Outlaws. The Otters would come back with a four yard touchdown pass from Suleiman Ramza to Sam The Onion Man to make it 28-20 Arizona. They would come up within two with another four yard pass from Ramza to Garfield Despacito Jr. for a touchdown to make it 28-26 Otters and they would lose the game on an unconverted two point conversion. What a heartbreaking loss for the Otters!
Week 11: Arizona Outlaws (8-2) @ Austin Copperheads (8-2), Outlaws win 29-25
The Outlaws got on the board first just fifty-nine seconds left in the first quarter on a one yard quarterback sneak by Charlemagne Cortez 7-0 Outlaws to start the second The Copperheads responded in the second quarter with a twenty-yard field goal by Leo Bloomfield to make it 7-3 Outlaws. The Outlaws then increased their lead with an eight yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Darren Parma, 14-3 Outlaws to start the second half. Zoe Watts scored on a six yard touchdown run followed by a two-point conversion to make it 14-11 Outlaws with nine minutes and twenty-eight seconds left to go in the third. Jim The Vampire would then run it in from the one yard line to pull the Copperheads ahead by four Copperheads lead 14-18. The Copperheads bombardment in the third would continue with a six yard touchdown reception by Videl-San Copperheads lead 25-14. The Outlaws would answer back before the end of the third however with a seventy-one yard touchdown pass from Charlemange Cortez to Tairo Ramon followed by a two-point conversion to make it 22-25 at the start of the last quarter.
The only score of the fourth would be a sixty-five yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Parma followed by a Jamison extra point to give us our final score of 29-25. Outlaws win again.
Week 12: Honolulu Hahalua (5-6) @ Arizona Outlaws (9-2), Hahalua win 19-16
Tatsu Nakamura put the Outlaws on the board early with a two-yard touchdown run followed by a Jamison extra point to make it 7-0 Outlaws which is what the score would be at the start of the second quarter. The second quarter would be a kicker's duel. First, Venus Power put the Hahalua on the board with a forty-one yard field goal to make it 7-3 Arizona. Jamsion would retaliate with a forty-four yard field goal of his own to make it 10-3 Outlaws. Not to be outdone, Powers would then kick a nineteen yard field goal of her own to make it 10-6 Arizona. Then Jamison would kick the fourth and last field goal of the quarter from forty-three yards out to make it 13-6 Outlaws.
The third would see more of the same from Honolulu as Powers once again kicked a field goal, this one from thirty-three yards out to make it 13-9 in favor of Arizona. The Hahalua would then score their first and only touchdown of the game with ten seconds left to go in the third on a three-yard touchdown pass from Chika Fujiwara to Ragnar Krashwagen followed by a Venus Power extra point to make it 16-13 Honolulu.
Venus would kick another field goal to start the fourth quarter from fifty-four yards out to make it 19-13 Hahalua. Jamison would kick the seventh field goal of the game with three minutes and seventeen seconds left in the fourth for our final score of 19-16 Honolulu wins.
This is the first time the Outlaws have lost since week 3.
Week 13: Philadelphia Liberty (4-9) @ Arizona Outlaws (9-3), Liberty win 25-24
Jake Fencik put the Liberty on the board early with a twenty-six yard field goal Philadelphia leads 3-0. The Outlaws answered back with a four yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Tairo Ramon to make it 7-3 in favor of Arizona at the start of the second quarter.
Darrell Williams ran it in from the one yard line followed by a Jake Fencik extra point to make it 10-7 Liberty. The Liberty then increased their lead with a forty-five yard field goal by Fencik to make it 13-7 at the start of the second half. The Outlaws scored first in the third with a thirty-six yard field goal by Jay Jamison to pull within three of the Liberty. Fencik then kicked back-to-back field goals, both from thirty-nine yards out to make it 19-10 in favor of Philadelphia. The Outlaws responded with a one yard touchdown by Tatsu Nakamura 19-17 Arizona.
Arizona then took the lead for the first time in the game in the fourth quarter with a one yard touchdown run by Nakamura to make it 24-19 Outlaws. The Liberty would come back however with two consecutive field goals from Jake Fencik, thirty-three and fifty-two yards respectively to win the game 25-24.
Week 14: Arizona Outlaws (9-4) @ New Orleans Secondline (4-10), Outlaws win 31-21
The Outlaws came out of the gates hot with a forty-eight yard touchdown run by Tatsu Nakamura to take an early 7-0 Arizona. New Orleans then tied the game up at 7 apiece with a fifteen yard touchdown pass from Ben Slothlisberger to Ed Barker 7-7 tie to start the second quarter.
Gunner Thorbjornsson then scored on an eighteen yard touchdown run to give Arizona back the lead 7-14 in favor of the Outlaws. They then increased their lead with an eight yard touchdown connection from Charlemagne Cortez to Taro Raimon 21-7 Outlaws. The Secondline would score next with a thirty-three yard field goal by Psuedo QB to make it 21-10 in favor of The Outlaws. The Outlaws would score the final points of the first half on a twenty-seven yard field goal by Jay Jamison to make it 24-10 at the start of the second half.
The third quarter was all New Orleans as they scored. First, on a thirty-eight yard field goal from Psuedo QB then on a forty-two yard interception return for a touchdown by Jonathon Shuffleboard 24-19 Arizona as the fourth began. With less than four minutes to go in the game, Tatsu Nakamura would run it into the endzone from the one yard line to make it 31-19 Outlaws before the Secondline sacked Charlemagne Cortez in the endzone to give us our final score of 31-21 Outlaws win.
Week 15: San Jose Sabercats (4-10) @ Arizona Outlaws (10-4), Outlaws win 31-27
The Outlaws scored first with a twenty-five yard field goal by Jay Jamison which was the only score of the first quarter 3-0 Arizona. The Outlaws would then increase their lead with a three yard touchdown run by Tatsu Nakamura to make it 10-0 in favor of The Outlaws. San Jose would answer back with a sixty-six yard touchdown pass from Monterey Jack to Zach Crossley 7-10 Arizona. The Sabercats would then tie it up on a thirty-eight yard field goal from Matthew McDairmid to make it 10-10 at the half.
The third quarter was all San Jose as they scored the only points of that quarter. Jamar Lackson caught a three yard touchdown pass from Monterey Jack to make it 17-10 San Jose. Then McDairmid kicked a twenty-three field goal to make it 20-10 San Jose at the start of the fourth and final quarter. Tao Raimon kicked off the comeback with a six yard touchdown reception from Charlemagne Cortez to make it 17-20 in favor of the SaberCats. Nakamura then had a four touchdown rush of his own to give Arizona the lead 24-20 Outlaws. San Jose wouldn’t go down without a fight though as they scored on a forty yard touchdown run by Jamar Lackson to make it 27-24 San Jose.
The Outlaws would win however on a fifteen yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Darren Parma to win 31-27.
Week 16: Arizona Outlaws (11-4) @ New York Silverbacks (10-5), Outlaws win 33-20
The New York Silverbacks got on the board first with a one yard touchdown run by Captain Rogers to make it 7-0 in favor of New York. They followed that up with a thiry-three yard field goal by Dougie Smalls to make it 10-0 before Arizona answered back with an eighteen yard field goal by Jay Jamison to make it 10-3 as the second quarter began.
The Silverbacks scored first in the second quarter on a thirty-one yard field goal by Dougie Smalls. The rest of the second quarter was all Arizona however as they scored two consecutive touchdowns to end the first half. The first was a one yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Thomas Passmann followed by a twenty-five yard touchdown reception caught by Taro Raimon 17-13 Outlaws at the start of the second half.
Once more the Silverbacks scored first. This time on a forty-seven yard touchdown pass from Sam Howitzer to Tugg Speedman 20-17 in favor of New York. The Outlaws retlaited with a thirty-one yard touchdown run by Tatsu Nakamura Outlaws lead 23-20. Jay Jamison then kicked a fifty yard field goal to give the Outlaws a six point lead as the fourth quarter began.
The only score of the fourth quarter was a sixteen yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez.to Tatsu Nakamura. The Outlaws win their final game of the season over New York 33-20.
ASFC Wildcard Game: Honolulu Hahalua (9-7) @ Arizona Outlaws (12-4), Outlaws win 10-23
Gunner Thorbjornsson put the Outlaws on the board with a one-yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to make it 7-0 Arizona. Jay Jamison then increased their lead to 10- with a thirty-two yard field goal. The only score of the second quarter was another Jay Jamison field goal, this time from forty-four yards out to make it 13-0 t the start of the second half.
As they did in the first half, The Outaws scored first in the second half with Jay Jamison’s third field goal of the game from fifty-six yards out to make it 16-0 Outlaws. The Hahalua would not be shutout however as they scored on a fifty-one yard field goal of their own from Venus Powers to make it 16-3 as the third quarter came to a close. Gunner Thorbjornsson would score on a one-yard touchdown run followed by a Jay Jamison extra point to make it 23-3 Arizona. Honolulu wouldn’t go down without a fight however as they scored on a three yard touchdown pass from Chika Fujiwara to Ragnar Krashwagen to make it 23-10. It would prove too little too late though as they lost the game to the Outlaws by a final score of 23-10. Outlaws move on.
ASFC Conference Championship Game: Austin Copperheads (9-7) @ Arizona Outlaws (12-4), Copperheads win 16-13
The Copperheads took the lead early on a fifty yard field goal which would prove to be the only points put on the board in the first quarter. . The second would be a bit more eventful as the copperheads would score twice. First, on a twenty-three yard field goal by Leo Bloomfield followed by a two yard Ben Alexander-Arnold touchdown run to make it 13-0 at the start of the second half.
The third quarter started with a twenty-five yard field goal by Leo Bloomfield, his third of the game to make it 16-0. The Outlaws responded with a forty-three yard field goal of their own from Jay Jamison to make it 16-3. They followed that up with an eighty-yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Darren Parma to make it 16-10 Austin. They would then kick another thirty-eight yard field goal by Jay Jamison to make it 16-13 but they were unable to complete the comeback and their season ended with a final score of 16-13 Copperheads.
Week 1: Arizona Outlaws (0-0) @ Honolulu Hahalua (0-0), Hahalua win 17-13
The first quarter was largely uneventful except for a twenty-nine yard field goal by J.J Jay-Jamison to give the Outlaws their first lead of the season 3-0 with a minute and eight seconds left to go before the second. The second was a bit more eventful as Nicholas Ayers scored on a nine yard pass from Chika Fujiwara to make it 6-3 in favor of Honolulu. Venus Powers aced the extra point to make it 7-3 Hahalua.
The Outlaws answered back quickly with a sixty-seven yard touchdown pass of their own from Charlemagne Cortez to Saba Donut to make it 10-3 after Jamison completed the extra point. Honolulu would go into the second half with the lead however after a eleven yard touchdown pass from Chika Fujiwara to Jed Podolak 14-10 in favor of the Hahalua after Powers extra point.
Venus Powers would put the Hahalua on the board first in the second half with a forty-eight yard field goal to make it 10-17 in favor of Honolulu. The Outlaws would also score in the third with a twenty-nine yard field goal of their own from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 17-13 which would be the final score game as neither team could find the endzone in the fourth quarter.
Week 2: Austin Copperheads (1-0) @ Arizona Outlaws (0-1), Copperheads win 37-30
The Outlaws took the lead early with a five yard touchdown run from Tatsu Nakamura followed by a Jamison extra point to make it 7-0 Arizona. They followed that up with another one yard touchdown run from Tatsu and an extra point from Jaimson to increase their lead to 14-0. Austin would not be shutout in the first quarter however as they retaliated with a one yard Jim The Vampire touchdown run to pull within seven, 14-7 Outlaws. In fact the game would go into the second quarter tied as the Copperheads would score again on a seventy-yard pass from Jackie Daytona to Zoe Watts to make it 14-14 at the start of the second quarter. The second quarter was largely uneventful up until the last two minutes of the half. Arizona scored on a thirty-four yard field goal from Jamison to make it 17-14 in their favor but Austin responded with a twenty-yard field goal of their own from Leo Bloomfield to make it 17-17 at the start of the second half.
As they were in the first half, Arizona was the first team to score in the second half. They scored on a six yard pass from Charlemange Cortez to Thomas Passman to make it 24-17 Arizona with ten minutes to go in the third. Austin answered back with a twenty-six yard field goal from Leo Bloomfield to make it 24-20 with Arizona still in the lead.
Arizona then extended their lead with an impressive eighty-yard touchdown pass from Charlemange Cortez to Taro Raimon to make it 31-20 Outlaws at the start of the fourth quarter. Austin proved they were done but not out in the fourth when they scored off a two yard pass from Jackie Daytona to Freidrich Vequain to make it 31-26 Outlaws. They then completed the fourth quarter comeback with three minutes and fifty four seconds left on the clock with a game clinching one yard touchdown run from Zoe Watts to give us our final score of 32-31 Copperheads.
Week 3: Arizona Outlaws (0-2) @ Orange County Otters (1-1) , Outlaws win 41-23
The Outlaws scored early with a sixty-yard touchdown pass from Charlemange Cortez to Darren Parma followed by a Jamison extra point to take the lead 7-0 in the first.
They would build on their lead in the second with an eleven yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Thomas Passman to make it 14-0 Outlaws. The Otters wouldn’t be kept off the board in the second quarter though as they scored on a fifty yard field goal by Datsum PhastBawls to make it 14-3 with three minutes left to go in the half. The Otters would score again on another field goal from Phastbawls, this time from forty-eight yards to make 14-6 Arizona at the start of the second half.
The Outlaws would score again on a forty-six yard field goal by J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 17-6 in their favor with eleven minutes in the third quarter to go. They would follow that up with a fifty-seven yard interception return touchdown by Rich Triplet to make it 24-6 Arizona leads.
The Otters answered back with a two-yard touchdown run from Jeffery Phillips to make it 24-13 at the start of the fourth quarter.
Arizona came out quick in the fourth quarter, scoring on a twenty-one yard pass from Cortez to Nakamura to make it 31-13 Arizona.
The Otters answered back with a fifty-yard goal by Datsum Phastbawls to make it 31-16 Outlaws. Tatsu Nakamura then helped increase their lead with a twenty-nine yard field goal to make it 38-16. The Outlaws weren’t done however as J.J Jay-Jamison kicked a seventeen yard field goal through the uprights with one minute and forty-six seconds left on the clock to make it 41-16 Arizona. The Otters wouldn’t go down quietly though as Garfield Despacito Jr. scored on a fifty-four yard pass from Suleiman Ramza to give us our final score of 41-23 Outlaws win their first game of the season on the road.
Week 4: New Orleans Secondline (0-3) @ Arizona Outlaws (1-2), Outlaws win 33-20
The Outlaws came out strong with a forty-three yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 3-0 Arizona. The Secondline responded with a seventy-yard touchdown pass from Ben Slothlisberger to Ed Barker to make it 7-3 New Orleans. The Outlaws would not be outscored in the first quarter however as Tatsu Nakamura broke off a four yard touchdown run to make it 10-7 Arizona. With just eleven seconds in the quarter, New Orleans would tie the game with a forty-nine yard field goal from Pseudo QB.
The first score of the second quarter was a ten yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Taro Raiman to give Arizona the lead, 17-10 Outlaws. The Outlaws would increase their lead with a forty-three yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 20-10 Arizona. Arizona could not keep New Orleans off the board in the second quarter though as Pseudo QB kicked a twenty-eight yard field goal with a minute and nineteen seconds in the first half. The score was 13-20 at the start of the third quarter.
The only score of the third quarter was a twenty-three yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 23-13 in favor of Arizona. Arizona would continue their onslaught with a twenty-two yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison followed by a sixteen yard touchdown run from Gunner Thorbjornsson to make it 13-33 Arizona. New Orleans would make one last ditch effort at a comeback however with a ten yard touchdown from Slothlisberger to Austin McCormick to make it 20-33. Their attempts would prove futile however as they would not score again and Arizona would win their second game in a row 20-33.
Week 5: Arizona Outlaws (2-2) @ San Jose Sabercats (1-3), Outlaws win 35-13
San Jose took the lead early on a three yard touchdown pass from Monterey Jack to Jamar Lackson to make it 7-0 in favor of San Jose. That would be the score as the second quarter started. McDairmid kicked a forty-six yard field goal to make it 10-0 San Jose early in the second. The Outlaws would start their comeback with a twenty-five yard touchdown run by Gunner Thorbjornsson to make it 7-10 San Jose. The Outlaws would then take the lead on a seventy-five yard touchdown from Cortez to Thomas Passmann to make it 14-10 Arizona to start the second half.
The Outlaws would increase their lead in the third with a seventeen yard touchdown from Cortez to Darren Parma to make it 21-10 Arizona. San Jose would put up a fifty-four yard field goal from Matthew McDairmid with one minute and forty three seconds in third quarter on the clock to make 21-13 Outlaws which would be the score at the start of the fourth quarter.
Arizona would annihilate the Sabercats in the fourth quarter with a six yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Tom Teboat and then a one yard touchdown run by Gunner Thorbjornsson to give us our final score of 35-13. The Outlaws win their third game in a row.
Week 6: Arizona Outlaws (3-2) @ Chicago Butchers (2-3), Outlaws win 35-32
The Butchers struck first with a one yard touchdown pass from George O’Donnell to Lucas Scabbia to take the lead 7-0 Chicago. The Outlaws would tie up before the second quarter though off of a five yard touchdown run by Tatsu Nakamura to make it 7-7 at the start of the second.
Chicago was on the board first in the second with a forty-one yard field goal by Sam Sidekick to make it 10-7 Butchers. Arizona would answer back with a forty-three yard interception return touchdown by Desmond Scarlett to take the lead 14-10 Outlaws. Sidekick would boot another field goal through the uprights, this one from fifty-four yards to make it 14-13 Outlaws. The Outlaws would then take the lead with a one yard Tatsu Nakamura touchdown run to make it 21-13 as the first half closed.
The teams traded field goals in the third. First, The Outlaws scored on a fifty-one yard field goal by J.J Jay-Jamison to increase Arizona’s lead to 24-13. The Butchers would come back with a thirty-seven yard field goal from Sam Sidekick to pull within twelve at the start of the fourth quarter.
The Butchers scored first in the fourth quarter on a thirty-one yard field goal by Sam Sidekick to make it 24-19. They would take the first lead in the second half after a twelve yard touchdown run from Baby Yoda to make it 25-24 Chicago after they failed on the two point conversion. The Outlaws would strike back though with a sixty-seven yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Thomas Passman to take the lead 32-25 Arizona.
But The Butchers would tie the game up with twenty-seconds left in the fourth on a one yard touchdown connection from George O’Donnell to Tree Gelbman to make it 32-32 at the end of regulation. These two teams would go into overtime in this game and Arizona would win their fourth game in a row with a game clinching twenty-seven yard field goal from J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 35-32.

Week 7: New York Silverbacks (4-3) @ Arizona Outlaws (4-2), Outlaws win 37-6
Tatsu Nakamura put the Outlaws on the board early with a forty-two yard touchdown run to make it 7-0 Outlaws. That would be the only score of the first quarter.
Tatsu Nakamura would score two more times in the second. His first a one yard touchdown run to make it 14-0 Arizona followed by a seventy-five yard touchdown run to make it 21-0 Outlaws. The Silverbacks would score in the first half however with a forty-seven yard field goal by Dougie Smalls with fifty-two seconds in the second quarter to make it 21-3 at the start of the second half.
The Outlaws would increase their lead in the third quarter with a forty-one yard field goal by J.J Jay-Jamison to make it 24-3 Outlaws. The Silverbacks would counter that with a forty-two yard field goal of their own from Dougie Smalls. 6-24 Outlaws. The fourth quarter would be all Outlaws as they scored three times. First on a twenty-six yard field goal followed by another thirty-two yard field goal by Jamison. Topped off with a one yard Tatsu Nakamura touchdown run to give us our final score of 6-37.
Outlaws win their fifth game in a row.
Week 8: Baltimore Hawks (0-7) @ Arizona Outlaws (5-2), Outlaws win 52-23
The start of this game was almost identical to the last one as Tatsu Nakamura put the Outlaws on the board early with an eight-yard for a touchdown 7-0 Outlaws. Taro Raimon would catch a twenty-seven yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to make it 14-0 Arizona. Nakamura would run it in from thirty-four yards out to give the Outlaws their third touchdown of the first quarter 21-0 Outlaws.
The Outlaws would continue to brutalize the Hawks in the second quarter. They scored four times in this quarter alone. The Outlaws first touchdown would be a forty-four yard pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Thomas Passman to make it 28-0 Outlaws. They would then score another touchdown on a six yard run by Nakamura to make it 35-0. Then just to pour salt in the wounds J.J Jay-Jamison would kick a twenty-eight yard field goal to make it 38-0 Arizona.
Finally they would score on a thirty-three yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Taro Raimon to make it 45-0 at the start of the second half. Brutal. The Outlaws would score for the final time in the third quarter with a seventeen yard pass from Cortez to Raimon to make it 52-0. Raimon’s third touchdown of the game.
Perhaps feeling guilty about the absolute beating that they had dropped on the Hawks at this point, the Outlaws took their foot off Baltimore's neck and allowed them to score on a five yard touchdown run by Busch Goose 52-7 Arizona. Somehow Charlemagne Cortez would get sacked in his own end zone by Maui Waialiki to make it 9-52 as we began the fourth quarter. Preston Parker would score on a one yard touchdown run to make it 16-52 Arizona. The final score of this game would be a three yard touchdown run by Busch Goose to make it 23-52. The final score looks a lot closer than the game actually was.
Week 9: Arizona Outlaws (6-2) @ Colorado Yeti (4-4), Outlaws win 36-14
Taro Raimon would put Arizona on the board first with a forty-two yard reception for a touchdown from Charlemagne Cortez 7-0 Outlaws. Gunner Thorbjornsson caught a fifty-one yard touchdown from Cortez to make it 14-0 Outlaws then Thomas Passman would catch a one yard touchdown pass of his own from Cortez 21-0 Outlaws to start the second quarter.
Richard Gilbert would finally put the Yeti on the board in the second quarter with an eighteen yard touchdown reception from Mattathias Caliban 21-7 Arizona. The Outlaws would retaliate with an eleven yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Gunner Thorbjornsson to make it 28-7 Outlaws. J.J Jay-Jamison would kick a twenty-one yard field goal to give us a score of 31-7 at the end of the first half.
The Yeti would score first in the second half with a one yard touchdown pass from Mattathias Caliban to Raphael Delacour to make it 31-14 Arizona. J.J Jay-Jamison would kick a thirty-five yard field goal to make it 34-14 to end the third quarter. The only score of the fourth quarter would be a Mattathias Caliban safety after he was brought down in his own end zone by Logan Noble Jr. The Outlaws win 36-14.
Week 10: Orange County Otters (4-5) @ Arizona Outlaws (7-2) , Outlaws win 28-26
The Otters got on the board first with a fifty-one yard field goal by DatSum PhastBawls to make it 3-0 Otters.The Outlaws responded with a six yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Tatsu Nakamura to take the lead 7-3 Outlaws. Nakamura would then score again with a thiry-two yard touchdown run 14-3 Arizona at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Wesley Eriksen returned an errant pass from Suleiman Ramza thirty-eight yards for a touchdown to make it 21-3 Arizona. Though Orange County would not be kept off the board in the second as DatSum PhastBawls kicked a thirty-four yard field goal through the uprights to make it 14-6 at the start of the second half.
Datsum was the only person to get on the board in the third quarter with back-to-back field goals from twenty-eight and forty-six yards out respectively to make it 21-12 as we went into the final quarter.
Gunner Thorbjornsson added to the Outlaws lead with a forty-six yard touchdown run to make it 28-12 Outlaws. The Otters would come back with a four yard touchdown pass from Suleiman Ramza to Sam The Onion Man to make it 28-20 Arizona. They would come up within two with another four yard pass from Ramza to Garfield Despacito Jr. for a touchdown to make it 28-26 Otters and they would lose the game on an unconverted two point conversion. What a heartbreaking loss for the Otters!
Week 11: Arizona Outlaws (8-2) @ Austin Copperheads (8-2), Outlaws win 29-25
The Outlaws got on the board first just fifty-nine seconds left in the first quarter on a one yard quarterback sneak by Charlemagne Cortez 7-0 Outlaws to start the second The Copperheads responded in the second quarter with a twenty-yard field goal by Leo Bloomfield to make it 7-3 Outlaws. The Outlaws then increased their lead with an eight yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Darren Parma, 14-3 Outlaws to start the second half. Zoe Watts scored on a six yard touchdown run followed by a two-point conversion to make it 14-11 Outlaws with nine minutes and twenty-eight seconds left to go in the third. Jim The Vampire would then run it in from the one yard line to pull the Copperheads ahead by four Copperheads lead 14-18. The Copperheads bombardment in the third would continue with a six yard touchdown reception by Videl-San Copperheads lead 25-14. The Outlaws would answer back before the end of the third however with a seventy-one yard touchdown pass from Charlemange Cortez to Tairo Ramon followed by a two-point conversion to make it 22-25 at the start of the last quarter.
The only score of the fourth would be a sixty-five yard touchdown pass from Cortez to Parma followed by a Jamison extra point to give us our final score of 29-25. Outlaws win again.
Week 12: Honolulu Hahalua (5-6) @ Arizona Outlaws (9-2), Hahalua win 19-16
Tatsu Nakamura put the Outlaws on the board early with a two-yard touchdown run followed by a Jamison extra point to make it 7-0 Outlaws which is what the score would be at the start of the second quarter. The second quarter would be a kicker's duel. First, Venus Power put the Hahalua on the board with a forty-one yard field goal to make it 7-3 Arizona. Jamsion would retaliate with a forty-four yard field goal of his own to make it 10-3 Outlaws. Not to be outdone, Powers would then kick a nineteen yard field goal of her own to make it 10-6 Arizona. Then Jamison would kick the fourth and last field goal of the quarter from forty-three yards out to make it 13-6 Outlaws.
The third would see more of the same from Honolulu as Powers once again kicked a field goal, this one from thirty-three yards out to make it 13-9 in favor of Arizona. The Hahalua would then score their first and only touchdown of the game with ten seconds left to go in the third on a three-yard touchdown pass from Chika Fujiwara to Ragnar Krashwagen followed by a Venus Power extra point to make it 16-13 Honolulu.
Venus would kick another field goal to start the fourth quarter from fifty-four yards out to make it 19-13 Hahalua. Jamison would kick the seventh field goal of the game with three minutes and seventeen seconds left in the fourth for our final score of 19-16 Honolulu wins.
This is the first time the Outlaws have lost since week 3.
Week 13: Philadelphia Liberty (4-9) @ Arizona Outlaws (9-3), Liberty win 25-24
Jake Fencik put the Liberty on the board early with a twenty-six yard field goal Philadelphia leads 3-0. The Outlaws answered back with a four yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Tairo Ramon to make it 7-3 in favor of Arizona at the start of the second quarter.
Darrell Williams ran it in from the one yard line followed by a Jake Fencik extra point to make it 10-7 Liberty. The Liberty then increased their lead with a forty-five yard field goal by Fencik to make it 13-7 at the start of the second half. The Outlaws scored first in the third with a thirty-six yard field goal by Jay Jamison to pull within three of the Liberty. Fencik then kicked back-to-back field goals, both from thirty-nine yards out to make it 19-10 in favor of Philadelphia. The Outlaws responded with a one yard touchdown by Tatsu Nakamura 19-17 Arizona.
Arizona then took the lead for the first time in the game in the fourth quarter with a one yard touchdown run by Nakamura to make it 24-19 Outlaws. The Liberty would come back however with two consecutive field goals from Jake Fencik, thirty-three and fifty-two yards respectively to win the game 25-24.
Week 14: Arizona Outlaws (9-4) @ New Orleans Secondline (4-10), Outlaws win 31-21
The Outlaws came out of the gates hot with a forty-eight yard touchdown run by Tatsu Nakamura to take an early 7-0 Arizona. New Orleans then tied the game up at 7 apiece with a fifteen yard touchdown pass from Ben Slothlisberger to Ed Barker 7-7 tie to start the second quarter.
Gunner Thorbjornsson then scored on an eighteen yard touchdown run to give Arizona back the lead 7-14 in favor of the Outlaws. They then increased their lead with an eight yard touchdown connection from Charlemagne Cortez to Taro Raimon 21-7 Outlaws. The Secondline would score next with a thirty-three yard field goal by Psuedo QB to make it 21-10 in favor of The Outlaws. The Outlaws would score the final points of the first half on a twenty-seven yard field goal by Jay Jamison to make it 24-10 at the start of the second half.
The third quarter was all New Orleans as they scored. First, on a thirty-eight yard field goal from Psuedo QB then on a forty-two yard interception return for a touchdown by Jonathon Shuffleboard 24-19 Arizona as the fourth began. With less than four minutes to go in the game, Tatsu Nakamura would run it into the endzone from the one yard line to make it 31-19 Outlaws before the Secondline sacked Charlemagne Cortez in the endzone to give us our final score of 31-21 Outlaws win.
Week 15: San Jose Sabercats (4-10) @ Arizona Outlaws (10-4), Outlaws win 31-27
The Outlaws scored first with a twenty-five yard field goal by Jay Jamison which was the only score of the first quarter 3-0 Arizona. The Outlaws would then increase their lead with a three yard touchdown run by Tatsu Nakamura to make it 10-0 in favor of The Outlaws. San Jose would answer back with a sixty-six yard touchdown pass from Monterey Jack to Zach Crossley 7-10 Arizona. The Sabercats would then tie it up on a thirty-eight yard field goal from Matthew McDairmid to make it 10-10 at the half.
The third quarter was all San Jose as they scored the only points of that quarter. Jamar Lackson caught a three yard touchdown pass from Monterey Jack to make it 17-10 San Jose. Then McDairmid kicked a twenty-three field goal to make it 20-10 San Jose at the start of the fourth and final quarter. Tao Raimon kicked off the comeback with a six yard touchdown reception from Charlemagne Cortez to make it 17-20 in favor of the SaberCats. Nakamura then had a four touchdown rush of his own to give Arizona the lead 24-20 Outlaws. San Jose wouldn’t go down without a fight though as they scored on a forty yard touchdown run by Jamar Lackson to make it 27-24 San Jose.
The Outlaws would win however on a fifteen yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Darren Parma to win 31-27.
Week 16: Arizona Outlaws (11-4) @ New York Silverbacks (10-5), Outlaws win 33-20
The New York Silverbacks got on the board first with a one yard touchdown run by Captain Rogers to make it 7-0 in favor of New York. They followed that up with a thiry-three yard field goal by Dougie Smalls to make it 10-0 before Arizona answered back with an eighteen yard field goal by Jay Jamison to make it 10-3 as the second quarter began.
The Silverbacks scored first in the second quarter on a thirty-one yard field goal by Dougie Smalls. The rest of the second quarter was all Arizona however as they scored two consecutive touchdowns to end the first half. The first was a one yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Thomas Passmann followed by a twenty-five yard touchdown reception caught by Taro Raimon 17-13 Outlaws at the start of the second half.
Once more the Silverbacks scored first. This time on a forty-seven yard touchdown pass from Sam Howitzer to Tugg Speedman 20-17 in favor of New York. The Outlaws retlaited with a thirty-one yard touchdown run by Tatsu Nakamura Outlaws lead 23-20. Jay Jamison then kicked a fifty yard field goal to give the Outlaws a six point lead as the fourth quarter began.
The only score of the fourth quarter was a sixteen yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez.to Tatsu Nakamura. The Outlaws win their final game of the season over New York 33-20.
ASFC Wildcard Game: Honolulu Hahalua (9-7) @ Arizona Outlaws (12-4), Outlaws win 10-23
Gunner Thorbjornsson put the Outlaws on the board with a one-yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to make it 7-0 Arizona. Jay Jamison then increased their lead to 10- with a thirty-two yard field goal. The only score of the second quarter was another Jay Jamison field goal, this time from forty-four yards out to make it 13-0 t the start of the second half.
As they did in the first half, The Outaws scored first in the second half with Jay Jamison’s third field goal of the game from fifty-six yards out to make it 16-0 Outlaws. The Hahalua would not be shutout however as they scored on a fifty-one yard field goal of their own from Venus Powers to make it 16-3 as the third quarter came to a close. Gunner Thorbjornsson would score on a one-yard touchdown run followed by a Jay Jamison extra point to make it 23-3 Arizona. Honolulu wouldn’t go down without a fight however as they scored on a three yard touchdown pass from Chika Fujiwara to Ragnar Krashwagen to make it 23-10. It would prove too little too late though as they lost the game to the Outlaws by a final score of 23-10. Outlaws move on.
ASFC Conference Championship Game: Austin Copperheads (9-7) @ Arizona Outlaws (12-4), Copperheads win 16-13
The Copperheads took the lead early on a fifty yard field goal which would prove to be the only points put on the board in the first quarter. . The second would be a bit more eventful as the copperheads would score twice. First, on a twenty-three yard field goal by Leo Bloomfield followed by a two yard Ben Alexander-Arnold touchdown run to make it 13-0 at the start of the second half.
The third quarter started with a twenty-five yard field goal by Leo Bloomfield, his third of the game to make it 16-0. The Outlaws responded with a forty-three yard field goal of their own from Jay Jamison to make it 16-3. They followed that up with an eighty-yard touchdown pass from Charlemagne Cortez to Darren Parma to make it 16-10 Austin. They would then kick another thirty-eight yard field goal by Jay Jamison to make it 16-13 but they were unable to complete the comeback and their season ended with a final score of 16-13 Copperheads.
