Python's S30 Hall of Fame Additions
Name: Pseudo QB
User: trashaim
Role: K/P
Pseudo QB played for 4 seasons with the Pythons, being drafted in S21 with the 75th pick overall in the 10th round, he had it all to prove. His first season was a little underwhelming only playing 4 games. Though the number he put up in a modest amount of time showed his class. S22 was his break out year, netting himself the Kicker of the Year award, though statically this wasn’t his best year in the DSFL. In addition to winning the Kicker of the Year award, he was runner up in the Punter of the Year awards, not bad for a 2rd year player.
S23 was a slight dip in performance, with his worst career year in the DSFL, though still hit more than 92% of his XP’s and over 81% FG success, netting a DSFL career high 56 yard FG. They finished 3rd in the Kicker of the Year award for S23.
S24, was there best year in the DSFL, kicking a whopping 97% of the XP’s only missing 1 in the entire season. Though more amazingly he made all 28 of the FG attempts, with 10 over 40 yards. Unsurprisingly, he again took the Kicker of the Year award, his 2rd in 4 years in the DSFL.
Over the course of his 4 years in the DSFL he made a total of 84 XP’s and 67 FG – taking his tally of points to 285. In the S22 ISFL draft he was selected by the Orange County Otter with the 142nd pick in the 12th round.
Name: Lanzer Grievous
User: VolcalicJaguar
Role: LB
Lanzer played for the Python’s for two seasons before moving up to the ISFL. He was drafted with 27th overall pick in the 5th round of the S14 draft and was the 4th LB selected. He made an immediate addition to a struggling Pythons team making 99 tackles in the season, though only scoring a single sack. The S14 year got even better for Lanzer, who helped the team secure the Ultimini trophy for the 4th time beating the Tijuana Luchadores 34 – 20. Lanzer didn’t make much of an impact in the game only recording 3 tackles.
S15 was going to be a far better year for Lanzer, abet not winning the Ultimini trophy for a second time was a disappointment, losing 37 – 17 in the final against the Palm Beach Solar Bears. However, for Lanzer, he made a DSFL record, still held to this day of 199 tackles, and took the DSFL DPoY award.
In the S15 ISFL draft he was taken with the 18th overall pick in the 2nd round by the Orange County Otters. Lanzer had a successful career in the ISFL retiring after S22 of the ISFL. He went on to make the Pro Bowl.
Name: Shawn Dawkins
User: Number 82
Role: S
Number has made the Pythons User HoF rather than the Player HoF. 82 has been a huge member of the Pythons locker room since joining in S21. Anyone who has been around the Pythons locker room in the last two years knows how fantastic 82 is and what a huge part of the winning culture we've build here! 82 is most commonly seen posting new TPE opportunities a split second after they're available, and is a an amazing locker room presence!
Though we couldn’t go without giving Shawn a bit of the limelight as well, Shawn was taken with the 19th pick in the 3rd round of the S21 draft. Over the course of his two seasons in the DSFL Shawn made 148 tackles and 6 sacks. He was drafted by the Honolulu Hahalua with the 37th overall pick in the 4th round. Making the Pro bowl 5 times (4 as Safety / 2 as Punt Returners.) After 6 seasons in the ISFL he is in the prime of his career, hopefully he will be able to win a converted Ultimus ring.
Finally, a massive congratulation to all three of the new members of the Pythons Hall of Fame, you are part of a rich and illustrious history that make the Pythons one of the best team in the ISFL & DSFL.
