I've always enjoyed reading these but now it's time to step up to the podium myself. Let's get deep people. Real deep. Ask me anything.
@TeyonSchavari
Question: If the world was ending and for some reason you were stranded with one sim leaguer and no way to contact anyone else, who would you want to spend your last moments with and why?
Answer: Going with the first person to come to mind which is @oilmandan. He's been my best sim league friend almost since the very beginning of my sim league life. We're always chatting even if it's little shit here and there. If I know the end is inevitable I'm not going to spend the last moments worrying about it, but rather just chilling and drinking a cold one with my best mate.
@platanocat
Question: How did you come up with your player name?
Answer: I'm glad someone asked this because I think only @124715 knows. When I tried being all incognito and created as user YellowBear (that shit was too much work btw) I left a little hint as to who I was with my player name. Drew McPewPewPew has been my favorite sim league player I've ever had. Weperom backwards is More Pew. Not sure anyone would have ever picked up on that, but why make it easy, right? Miles has no significance. Just plain old Miles.
Question: When did you decide you wanted to become a GM? Was this a recent decision or the realization of a long term goal?
Answer: Oh.... I've GMed a long time in various leagues and is my single most favorite thing about sim leagues outside of interacting with the community. Being able to be a strategic mind with team building and play calling has always been fun for me. Now, when I joined here I planned on just coasting by as a player. It didn't take long before I fell in love with what this league was all about and knew I'd be open to a GM position here. I just didn't imagine it would have happened so soon.
Question: Who in your locker room will you execute as a display of your newly acquired power?
Answer: @Attopax has already been executed. No way in hell would I let the former Kahuna lurk over my shoulders and tell me how much I was fucking up.
@Dolphins
Question: Who's your favorite receiver to go against?
Answer: Iron sharpens iron, right? Why sharpen the iron wielded by anyone other than our own army? My favorite receiver to go against is Eleven Kendrick-Watts @124715. When we go at it with each other in practice it makes both of us better for game day.
Question: Who's your favorite QB to go against?
Answer: Ryan Negs @negs. Easiest way to get picks and why wouldn't I want those?
Question: What's your favorite thing about Norfolk?
Answer: My favorite thing about any team is the LR and Norfolk has the best LR in the DSFL. Their leadership team, including war room, is top notch. The environment there with all the S30 Draftees is amazing. So many excited and vocal new users and veterans that make it a special place.
@124715
Question: Who do you think you are?
Answer: Just a regular guy who adores his wife and loves his children and would rather be sim leaguing than working.
@oilmandan
Question: Once the world goes back to normal, where is the first place you go for an all expense paid trip? Kids or not.
Answer: You giving away one of these? I love the scenery of Santorini so I'd probably go there to spend a few days relaxing and a few days touring the island and embracing the culture. Might as well take the kids if the trip is all expenses paid.
@MN_Moosey
Question: Is there a GM that you look up to?
Answer: Good question. I wouldn't say there is one particular GM I look up to. I respect a lot of GMs that do things the right way. To me, that means putting other's needs above your own and not being slimy in the way you go about things.
Question: Waffles, pancakes, or french toast and why?
Answer: Oh man, Norfolk argument all over again. If I get money for it even better. If crepes can't be number one then I have to go french toast, pancakes, waffles in that order. French toast has to be cinnamon sugar french toast on some thick bread because then you get some additional flavors with that ooey gooey maple syrup. Pancakes because they're thinner and I feel like more of a man when I can eat more of them than waffles.
Question: Do you believe that there is life outside our solar system and how long would it take to make contact?
Answer: Nope, and I suppose with my answer people will be looking a very long time. Maybe even forever.
@g2019
Question: Any bold awards predictions for DSFL/ISFL?
Answer: Boldest prediction is that the Norfolk Seawolves will have the highest number of award winners in the DSFL this season.
Question: Predictions for Honolulu next year record-wise?
Answer: We will improve from last season and have a winning record of 10-6 and make the playoffs.
Question: How did you go about becoming awesome? Was it nature or nurture?
Answer: I am Batman.
