We were joking in the SFWG that there wasn't really a wrong way to end up listing the running backs, but wow this is... interesting.
I still don't understand why we do OPotY/DPotY/MVP nominations like this. My understanding, especially from my time there, is that the awards committee is there to help provide an informed shortlist to the GMs for voting, but not to try to dictate the winners of awards. Sending a specific RB, CB, or whatever to these top awards list though is heavy handed from the committee and I believe really harms the overall mission and purpose of the committee. I'd much rather see the OPotY/DPotY/MVP votes be done after the positional ballots are collected and then have the nominee list for these awards be composed of the players that win (or even add the runners up as well for situations were players of the same position may be worthy of the top 2 awards, e.g. 2 QBs taking OPotY and MVP) their positional awards.
Uhhh anyways go check out the S30 SFWG All-Pro awards if you haven't already.
