Week 1 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs CHI
A big opening game against Chicago once again, we tallied quite a bit of yardage through the air and Ryan Negs had a very solid game. However, none of that would have happened if not for our stalwart at offensive line, Andrew Franklin. Franklin finished the game with 13 pancakes and allowed 0 sacks on the day. Franklin continues to be one of the top offensive lineman in the league and looks forward to another all star campaign. Congrats Big Guy!
Week 1 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs CHI
Our opening week game ball for defense was a bit tougher to select because we had a pretty solid performance all around even in the loss. Goodman, Walls, Fieri, and Haywood all had great games but our game ball this week goes to CJ Sonjack. Sonjack has continued to knock passes out of the air like an anti air cannon. Basically, CJ creates a no fly zone on his portion of the field and he continues to put out elite numbers in the category. Congrats CJ and I know we’ll be seeing that first pick soon!
Week 2 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs YKW
Week 2 against the Wraiths was another tough loss for the team, but we had some major contributors on the offensive side of the ball. Ryan Negs put up almost 276 yards and 2 TDs, but also threw 3 interceptions, but helped Borgo San Lorenzo and Killian Chambers put up very quality stats with 81 and 72 yards respectively. Lonnie Jackson had a solid outing with 90+ yards on 11 carries as well. However, our game ball on offense goes to Tsuyu Asui with her 93 yards on 6 catches and 1 TD. Congrats on the game ball and here’s to the hope of a break out player chance!
Week 2 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs YKW
OUr defensive game ball again is tough as the defense played solid except for a few big plays that were let up for scores. Doy continued his run of leading in tackles, while Walls, Goodman, Haywood, and Sonjack played well. The game ball in this one goes to our Sophomore strong safety Romulus Roman with his 4 tackles and a great sack for a safety. Congrats on the game ball Romulus and here’s to hoping for a stellar season for you in our secondary as an enforcer!
Week 3 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs SJS
In a tight game that we ended up pulling out a victory in, you can really pull for a few different players offensively in this game. We had a solid outing for Anders Christiansen with 92 yards on the ground along with Killian Chambers having 2 TDs and Asui adding 86 yards receiving on the night. Our game ball for the offense goes to Ryan Negs in his clutch performance to bring us back and bring our first win to the table. With 244 yards, 3 Tds, and no interceptions, congratulations to Negs on his great outing and we look forward to more like this one!
Week 3 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs SJS
Our defense stood strong against an offense that tried it’s best to take this one quick and early. Jamar Lackson took off for two huge rushing plays but our defense responded with 3 quarters of shutdown football. Matt Cross had a great night with 2 pass deflections and an interception along with Doy Fieri and CJ Sonjack both adding 5 tackles and pass deflections of their own. Our defensive game ball goes to our veteran linebacker, Gary Goodman. Goodman finished the game with 5 tackles but also 2 clutch sacks to help us insure the victory on the night. Congrats old man and hope to see the continued pressure!
Week 4 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs BER
This game turned into a bit of a shoot-out with a lot of yardage going through the air and not much on the ground for the good guys. Ryan Negs was slinging it everywhere and finished with 3 TDs but also 4 INTs, while our two top receivers both finished with over 80 yards and a TD each. However, our game ball for offensive goes to our tight end, Borgo San Lorenzo for another great performance. Borgo has been the top tight end in the league so far this season and has been more than impressive. In this game, San Lorenzo put up 83 yards on 6 catches and a touchdown. Looking forward to an award filled season for our intrepid tight end and guarantee we’ll see more game balls going his way!
Week 4 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs BER
Our defense really had a hard time stopping the Fire Salamanders from putting the ball in the endzone, but we still put up a fight. Walls finished with 6 tackles, a sack, and an INT along with Jimi DeSoto finishing with 6 tackles as well and adding an INT himself. Goodman had 5 tackles and an INT and CJ Sonjack continued knocking passes down with Romulus Roman in the secondary. Our defensive game ball though goes to HonkyTonk Haywood and his stat filled performance of 3 tackles, a tackle for a loss, a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovered, and a safety. Congrats to HonkyTonk and we look forward to more as we continue the season.
Week 5 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs BAL
In a disappointing game for all of us, the offensive game ball was not hard to hand out. Only one player accounted for points for us in the form of touchdowns and that was Lonnie Jackson. Tsuyu Asui put up 90 yards receiving, but did not gather in a touchdown in this one. Lonnie was clutch in the red zone and made sure to put us on the board. Congrats to Lonnie and here’s to hoping more yardage comes his way on the next one!
Week 5 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs BAL
Defensively we played a little loose, but overall a handful of people had good individual games. Xavier Walls finished with 10 tackles, while Jimi DeSoto had 9. HonkyTonk Haywood had 5 tackles with 1 being for a lose along with Doy Fieri putting up 6 tackles and forcing a fumble. Our game ball winner on defense though is good ol’ Gary Goodman. Goodman put up 6 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, a recovered fumble, and a pass deflection. Goodman continues to do it all for the Liberty defense and I don’t think this will be his last game ball of the year. Congrats!
Week 6 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs SAR
In what will likely be considered our game of the year, the Philly offense really came to life in an efficient manner. Ryan Negs threw for 196 yards with 2 TDs going to Killian Chambers. Our offensive game ball of the week goes to Anders Christiansen as he finished with 121 yards on 12 carries for 2 TDs himself. Averaging just over 10 yards per carry this is a fitting award on a night in which the defense and offense clicked! Congrats Anders!
Week 6 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs SAR
Defensively, Philly was rolling in this one. Turnovers were a huge factor in this game and many players showed up big in the stat sheets. Xavier Walls handled clean up with 9 tackles, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble while Romulus Roman hammered the Sailfish with 4 tackles, 3 pass deflections, and a pick six. Doy Fieri and Tex Wrecks both had great games as well tallying 6 tackles a piece with the latter getting a sack and a forced fumble. Our defensive game ball, however, goes to CJ Sonjack. Sonjack finished this one with 5 tackles, 5 pass deflections, and a pick six. An incredible performance by any stretch of the imagination and congratulations to CJ!
Week 7 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs COL
This game did not have much in the way of offensive output, but decent stat lines still showed up. Killian Chambers had yet another game with a TD and Borgo San Lorenzo had 5 catches for 50 yards. Our offensive game ball, however, goes to Jake Fencik. Although Fencik has struggled this season, this was one of his top games so far as he hit a long field goal and have six amazing punts to pin the Yeti offense back. Congrats to our legman, Jake Fencik!
Week 7 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs COL
Doy Fieri lead the team in this one with 11 tackles and a pass deflection, while Walls and DeSoto had 7 tackles a piece. Tex Wrecks had another strip sack to go along with 5 tackles and Romulus Roman played solid in his enforcer role. Our defensive game ball goes to our defensive leader once again in Gary Goodman. Goodman finished with 6 tackles and 2 sacks on the night being a huge factor in holding the high flying Yeti offense down.
Week 8 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs AUS
This was another week where we put up a good chunk of yardage but came away with only a trio of TDs. Our rushing crew totaled 130 yards on the ground, while on the receiving end we had 3 receivers over 50 yards. Killian Chambers finished with just shy of 100 yards receiving with a TD, while Borgo San Lorenzo had 66 yards and a TD. Our offensive game ball for this game goes to the one tossing the balls to these receiving wonders, Ryan Negs. Negs finished with 253 yards, 3 TDs with a single interception. Negs should continue to be a factor throughout the season for us and congratulations on this game ball!
Week 8 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs AUS
Defensively, we held off Austin for the majority of the game. Jimi DeSoto led in tackles with 7 along with CJ Sonjack who also had 4 pass deflections. Gary Goodman had another sack to go with 5 tackles while Honkytonk and Wrecks both added sacks to the show. Our game ball winner goes to Romulus Roman and his performance of 5 tackles and a strip sack. Damn good job by Roman and he’ll likely be an award winner quite often in coming games and seasons.
Week 9 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs HON
Another close game in which we weren’t quite able to pull out a win. Tough loss to Honolulu, but our offense once again had a pretty solid day. Borgo San Lorenzo finished with 7 catches for 67 yards and a TD and Anders Christiansen finished with 9 carries for 32 yards and another score. Ryan Negs passed for 261 yards with 2 TDs and a solo interception. Our offensive game ball goes to our powerhouse offensive weapon, Killian Chambers, as he put up 113 yards on 6 catches along with a TD. Congrats Killian and good luck on your way to another 1000 yard season.
Week 9 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs HON
Jimi DeSoto once more led the team in tackles with 9 which included one for a loss. Wrecks and Goodman both added sacks and CJ Sonjack added 8 tackles and 2 pass deflections. Our player of the game in this one ends up being Matt Cross though as he forced a fumble to go along with 2 pass deflections and an interception to go with 3 tackles! Congratulations to our veteran leader Cross and we look forward to more playmaking like this as the season goes on!
Week 10 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs SAR
This one was tough as our offense went off in total yardage, but we just couldn’t get the points on the board. Ryans Negs threw for 370 yards but only a single TD with both Killian and Borgo surpassing 60 yards receiving, while Lonnie Jackson went over the 75 yard mark rushing the ball along with 44 yards receiving. Our game ball winner, however, is Flash Panda. Panda caught 4 balls for 87 yards and a TD and seemed to show that even in his retirement season he can provide a boost to this team. Congrats Panda and here’s to hoping you continue to put on performances like this one!
Week 10 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs SAR
For yet another game, Jim DeSoto led the team in tackles with 9 along with a pass deflection and a sack, while Doy Fieri added 8 tackles. Xavier Walls had 6 tackles and a sack after disappearing for a few games while Goodman continued his terrorizing of quarterbacks with 5 tackles, 1 for a loss, and a sack. Hoffman added yet another sack for the team on the day, but the true game ball winner goes to one of our Superstar secondary players in CJ Sonjack. Sonjack finished with only 3 tackles, but he knocked down 6 passes and picked off 2 more! CJ continues to show that he is a force to reckon with in this league, congrats!
Week 11 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs YKW
Ryan Negs took us through this game providing again another solid game yardage wise as he put up 329 yards through the air along with a TD and a pick. Our running duo put up over 130 yards rushing and each had a TD. Borgo San Lorenzo and Tsuyu Asui both had very good receiving games each totalling over 75 yards. Our offensive game ball in this one goes to our deadly target, Killian Chambers, once again. Chambers blew past the defense for 9 receptions and over 100 yards receiving to go with yet another TD. Congrats Killian!
Week 11 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs YKW
Defensively, we really held the Wraiths down in the rushing game but their passing attack tore us up a bit. In the first game in awhile we hadn’t recorded any sacks, but multiple people finished with over 5 tackles. Roman led the team with 7 while Jimi DeSoto was close behind with 6. Our defensive game ball goes to Doy Fieri though as he put forth a stat line of 5 tackles and 2 pass deflections. Congrats Doy!
Week 12 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs NYS
One of the easiest game ball awards of the season happened in this game and it was clear Lonnie Jackson was dominating this game. Although we lost, Lonnie tried his damnedest on the ground putting up 150 yards on 10 carries. The passing game stalled out in this one without even going over the 100 yard mark which shows even more how well Lonnie kept us in this one! Congrats Lonnie and I’m sure this isn’t the last time I put your name here!
Week 12 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs NYS
Romulus Roman led the team with 12 tackles in this game as the Philly defense really played a hard game against the Silverbacks. Xavier Walls had 6 tackles along with a forced fumble that he recovered while also knocking down 2 passes. Cj Sonjack had 6 tackles while knocking a pass down along with Jimi DeSoto getting a sack and knocking a couple passes away himself. Our game ball goes to Gary Goodman though as he once again tore apart the Silverbacks offensive line, putting up 7 tackles, 2 sacks, a forced fumble, and knocking a pass away. Congrats Gary and here’s to hoping this play continues!
Week 13 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs CHI
In an absolute nailbiter, we once again lost a close game. Lonnie Jackson had another great game on the ground with 10 carries for 86 yards along with Killian Chambers putting up 61 yards on 4 catches with a TD. Our offensive game ball goes to our tight end Borgo San Lorenzo as he put up 108 yards on 5 catches. Borgo continues to have an absolutely stellar season and we look forward to seeing how he finishes out the year.
Week 13 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs CHI
Jim DeSoto continued to lead the defense in this closely fought game putting up 8 tackles with 2 being for a loss. Gary Goodman added 7 tackles of his own along with Romulus Roman and CJ Sonjack both tallying 6 a piece. Tex Wrecks added a sack on the night. Our defensive game ball in this one goes to Honkytonk Haywood though as he put up 6 tackles, 1 for a loss, a sack, and a forced fumble. Honkytonk continues to be a stalwart on our defensive line and will likely be heading into another award at the end of this season! Congrats!
Week 14 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs BAL
In only our 3rd win of the season, our offense came to play! Our receivers all put up stellar performances with Killian Chambers gathering 87 yards receiving, Asui putting up 34 on 5 catches, and Borgo San Lorenzo tallying 85 yards on 4 catches and 2 TDs. Our rushing attack faltered a bit, but overall we had a great offensive game. Our game ball goes to Ryan Negs in this one as he finished with 271 yards and 3 TDs with no interceptions! Congrats Ryan!
Week 14 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs BAL
Jim DeSoto led the team for yet another week with 8 tackles and a pass knockdown, while rookie Carter Fox also put up 8 tackles. Romulus Roman continued his string of strong performances gathering 7 tackles of his own. Tex Wrecks and Matt Cross both added sacks in this one, but ultimately our game ball goes to Gary Goodman! Goodman put up another 2 sacks to go with 4 tackles and a pass knockdown. Goodman has been all over the field all season long and we’re hoping he finishes the campaign strong.
Week 15 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs BER
A huge win for us in this one as our offense did well with their efficiency as the game went on! Borgo and Asui both had TDs on the day while Killian went for over 100 yards receiving as well. Ryan Negs had a solid game going for almost 200 yards passing while delivering the 2 TDs to Borgo and Asui above. Our true performer of this one and our offensive game ball winner is Jake Fencik though as he repeatedly pinned Berlin back with punts. His ability to put the ball inside the 15 yards really helped the defense keep Berlin in check in order for the offense to win it for us. Congrats Jake!
Week 15 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs BER
The defense really came to play in this one as there were multiple clutch stops against a very good offense. DeSoto and Walls had 5 tackles a piece with the latter providing one for a loss and also 2 pass deflections. CJ Sonjack had another stellar night with an interception and Doy Fieri knocked away a couple key passes. Wrecks, Fox, and Roman all contributed with 3 tackles and a sack a piece. However, our key defensive performer was none other than rookie Lucid Dreams! Lucid went hard this game putting up 5 tackles and getting a clutch sack for a safety! Damn fine job Lucid! I know you’ll be winning this alot in weeks to come!
Week 16 Offensive Game Ball - PHI vs COL
In the last game of the season, we ended up losing a nailbiter to Colorado. Our offense struggled a bit to get the ball moving but ultimately we still almost pulled it off. We had several long drives that ended in field goals and we just couldn’t punch it in. With that being said, our offensive game ball goes to our only player to have recorded a TD and that was Anders Christiansen. Anders ran for 76 yards and a TD on the night. Congrats Anders!
Week 16 Defensive Game Ball - PHI vs COL
Defensively, this game was a mess and also beautiful all at the same time. Colorado unleashed a mega passing attack on our secondary and it was a back and forth battle the entire game. Walls finished this one with 8 tackles, a tackle for a loss, and a sack while DeSoto, Goodman, and Haywood all had a sack. Doy Fieri finished off the year with an interception in this one as well, but our game ball goes to CJ Sonjack. CJ wanted to finish the season STRONK and he did so with 7 tackles, 8 --yes 8 pass deflections to go along with an interception he took to the house for a pick six! What a freaking amazing performance to end the season and next season I guarantee this defense will look even stronger! Congrats CJ!
Borgo continues to have an absolutely stellar season and we look forward to seeing how he finishes out the year.

Jim DeSoto continued to lead the defense in this closely fought game putting up 8 tackles with 2 being for a loss. Our defensive game ball in this one goes to Honkytonk Haywood though as he put up 6 tackles, 1 for a loss, a sack, and a forced fumble. Honkytonk continues to be a stalwart on our defensive line and will likely be heading into another award at the end of this season! Congrats!

Our receivers all put up stellar performances with Killian Chambers gathering 87 yards receiving, Asui putting up 34 on 5 catches, and Borgo San Lorenzo tallying 85 yards on 4 catches and 2 TDs.
