Disclaimer: This was down after week 11, so before the games tonight, so that will change some of these numbers.
So I decided to take a look at the seasonal records from last year and was curious how many will be broken and honestly, it looks like almost all of the records will be broken in season 2. It is actually really interesting how easily some of the records will be shattered.
Let's take a closer look:
Passing attempts:
Record season 1:
C. Orosz - 457 attempts
Possible record breakers season 2:
M. Boss - on pace for 530 attempts
C. Orosz - on pace for 528 attempts
K. Bronco - on pace for 525 attempts
S. Kyubee - on pace for 524 attempts
As you can see, this record will be shattered, probably by several quarterbacks and with ease.
Passing completions:
Record season 1:
C. Orosz - 264 completions
Possible record breakers season 2:
M. Boss - on pace for 327 completions
C. Orosz - on pace for 319 completions
