Ken Oath.
Ken Oath.
Ken Oath.
Just like the Bloody Mary game, Ken Oath is going to be a nightmare. This man comes hailing from Woolloomooloo, Australia, standing at 5’11 and 215 pounds. Back in the Big W, Ken was also known as the Short King. Not only because of his height but because of his dominance on the football field. Ken showed up to a rugby practice in full pads and despite the coaches trying to tell him that he is on the wrong field, he immediately took a rugby ball to the house for a score. Did anyone chase him? No. But that isn’t the point because eventually he did find the proper field and did the exact same thing. Eventually Ken landed a spot on the Woolloomooloo Gridiron team which helped get the attention of international scouts.
After a tumultuous post-secondary recruitment process and an outstanding performance in the IFAF World cup, Ken Oath aka the short king went first overall in the DSFL draft to the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. A post-draft interview came out after the DSFL draft and Ken Oath was quoted saying “I am about to put Australia on the map for football. No curse, voodoo, or hex will bring me down and that’s my oath.” In his rookie season Ken showed why he deserved the first overall pick. Ken finished his rookie season in the top 10 of all running backs in the DSFL. Ken produced 641 rushing yards and 5 TDs and helped his fellow teammate Tron Carter achieve the same success. After the season was over Ken did an interview outside the stadium with his cheering fans surrounding him with signs that stated, “Ken Oath is the best” and “Ken Oath for RoTY”. But in his interview, he urged that he was happy to share the success with his teammate running back Tron. This interview would help secure Ken’s spot in the first round of the ISFL draft.
Going into the ISFL draft, stories of Oath’s interviews with ISFL general managers started to come out and the reviews were glowing. There were reports of how much Ken is a team-player and how unlike other running back he does not make the world revolve around himself. General managers were sure that nothing would be able to ruin Ken Oath’s career and that he was a dynasty piece for any ISFL team. Fans and scouts alike were comparing Ken Oath to top ISFL running back GOAT Tank. Finally draft day comes, and Ken’s fans are eagerly awaiting to see where their favourite player would go. As luck would have it, Orange County came calling on the 8th pick of the first round.
With Ken finally having a home in Orange County, he is ready to take the next steps of his very young and promising career. Be careful saying Ken Oath too much because you may find him being a nightmare for your defense.
