Going into week 5 of the DSFL season, defensive captain of the Division leading KC Coyotes dtg108 is now taking questions. Ask away!
@2Lzy asks:
Man, I was just excited to get the opportunity to lead this defense and see what we can do to get some wins. Being captain is great, but more importantly, I just want to win football games. And that's what we've been looking to do. I'm also super excited for everyone to see this defense, because they're all nasty. DBs, DL, LBs, they're all putting in the work and it's showing.
A championship. I want to see myself grow obviously and take that next step, but I think it would be really cool to hoist a championship trophy my first year in the league. So I look forward to seeing my team gel more, and get better, and compete for a trophy.
Breakfast every time. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, I just love breakfast food. Any and all of it.
@MamaB asks:
Always syrup and butter, but I also put peanut butter on them quite often. People look at me strange for it but it's delicious. Highly recommend.
My first act as captain was just thinking everyone for voting for me and also letting my guys know that I'm here for them. We as a unit want to be the best in the league, and I think that starts with chemistry and cohesion. It's important to let them know that you're present, you're here for them, and you're ready to win. That goes from my secondary guys, to the defensive line- top to bottom.
It's just being there, being a friend and a leader. You're not there to coach them or call them out- that's what coaches are for. We're professionals, we know what we're doing. A captain is there to lift his brothers up and give support whenever it is needed, bottom line.
