Marvin Toledo has made his grand entrance to the Simulation Football world. He now looks towards his budding career and developing with whichever organization decides to take a chance on him, and his talents. Not a lot is known about the young Wide Receiver, but a first look offers some insight to how his intentions on developing.
Right away you notice his excellent hands coming into the combine with his focus being on not dropping the damn ball. How are you supposed to impress scouts if you can't even grip a ball that has a texture designed to be gripped. When Marvin is the primary target during a play, he wants to be sure that he can be trusted to make the catch and bring the ball safely to the ground.
Next, Toledo's intelligence when it comes to making plays is one of his best strengths. Knowing where to be and when a tackle is coming his way will prove especially useful early in his career and keep him afloat till retirement. Having the ability to decide when is a good opportunity to run for a couple extra yards is a key component to winning any game.
All in all, Marvin Toledo will be an offensive tool for any organization looking to add young talent that will continue to develop on pace with other All-Stars, should he have a good reason in doing so.
Here is a first look at his draft preferences, which hold absolutely no value as he doesn't know much about individual teams.
London Royals
First on the list is London, I don't know many users on the team but I enjoy the brand more than others
Norfolk Seawolves
Sconnie is on this team, and its really the only reason its up here I guess. I know a couple others on the team, but Sconnie is the main reason. Colours are meh
Bondi Beach Buccaneers
I like the alliteration of the team name, I know gwdjohnson but thats it I think? the logo is cool
Kansas City Coyotes
I know Fitted and petrella, but I'm impartial on the branding. The colours are good, but it just feels like its missing something.
Portland Pythons
Of all the teams so far, I know the most players on this one. The logo is meh, nothing really pops out at me with it but when your logo is a snake, not a whole lot to do I guess. with the location being Portland, you almost expect it to slap a lil more.
Dallas BirdDogs
I can only play the Cat Dog theme song in my head, I'm sorry. It's not really relevant but having two different animal names as a team name just doesn't seem right. Even though it is actually one animal. I don't think I know anyone either
Tijuana Luchidores
Has a few names I recognize, but I'd rather have the team on the field wearing luchidore masks instead of helmets. I think there could be better names, but I don't know football and this is just media
Minnesota Grey Ducks
Quack Quack Quack. I don't know about this. I don't know anyone really and I'm not a fan of 2 word team names. the colours are decent though.
This list is just a quick ranking of the teams, as said previously. If you think Toledo is hating on the team and its branding then I'm mostly sorry, you can't take back first impressions though. It's a couple seasons in the DSFL before making the jump to ISFL, and with not having been a part of the league before, my opinion on where I end up is quite moot. I look forward to starting Toledo's career and how it progresses compared to players in the league, and my own players in different leagues
