I am humbled but excited to announce that this season will be my final season as a GM of Norfolk, as I have been selected to try to fill the enormous void that will be left by the departure of @SchwarzNarr as a GM of the Colorado Yeti. My time in Norfolk has been absolutely fantastic, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Only an opportunity to GM at the ISFL level and for another team that I love dearly could possibly cause me to leave this post and the stars have aligned for me with this chance to help lead Colorado. I want to give a huge thanks to everyone in Norfolk for bringing me in, believing in me, and trusting me to help us rebuild the team.
Whoever is chosen to GM alongside @negs is in a great spot, and I have no doubt Norfolk will be in great hands for seasons to come. We will be looking to transition someone into the role over the course of this season or towards the end of the season, as I will be transitioning into the GM role in Colorado along the same timeline.
Another thanks to everyone in the Colorado Yeti locker room for their support as we make this transition; I'm not Schwarz (nobody possibly could be), but I'm going to do everything I can to maintain our locker room atmosphere and culture, as well as our competitive product on the field. I'm very sad to see her step down, but she told me I can still bug her about league stuff, so I can't wait to do that . @SchwarzNarr your impact on me as a user, player, and GM in this league cannot be quantified, and nobody has had a bigger impact on me in this league or in sim leagues in general than you. I have no issues saying you are my favorite non-spouse sim leaguer I hope you enjoy taking a step back and taking a breather...you surely deserve it!
A special thanks to @SchwarzNarr, @IsaStarcrossed, @negs, @Blasoon, @TMosura, @Sylphreni, @woelkers, and everybody else who has acted as a mentor during my ISFL journey thus far. You and so many others are the reason that I love this league so much and why I have more fun here each passing day.
@MamaB Thanks for being my biggest fan and biggest support. I love you.
@Tesla, let's do the damn thing!
