With the news of Dustin Parmalee (@Dp-420) getting called up to the ISFL and leaving the London Royals I wanted to commemorate him and all his accomplishments in the DSFL as a London Royal. Before I begin with his accomplishments on the football field, I want to talk about Parm as a person, teammate, and friend. I have a few friends of his that want to say a word about Parm and so would I, so i will go first. Parm was an amazing teammate and an even better friend of mine. Whenever I was not feeling great or if I was hard on myself, Parm was always there for me to help me feel better and help me through my problems I've had in real life. Not only did he stand my lectures about my life and what was going on in it, but he actually cared and helped me get over it and made me laugh when I was feeling down. Parm is there for anyone that ever has needed him and was one of the first people that I got to know and have a quality conversation with in this league. He understood me and my jokes, he understood my weird ways, and he talked with me when I had no one else to talk to. I want to Thank him for everything he has done for me in our time together in London, without him idk what my mental state would be or where i would be in life right now. I wish him luck in Yellowknife and hope he makes as good a friend as he was to me. As for my teammate, Parm was the best, he always wanted to help me in my slumps and needed extra practice and he would trust me in high traffic catches when I didn't trust myself. He is a great QB and a great team player. Parm is always blaming himself when we lose even if it's not his fault and he had a great game. He always was the guy to get the team hyped up before games and after games. If you look up hype in the dictionary, Dustin Parmalee comes up. Up next to say a word is Maglubiyet(@"Maglubiyet"). “ I know he didn't get the Ultimini title that he wanted, but the record books will show that Parm is still one of the most prolific and accomplished QBs in Royals history. My favorite thing about Parm is that he is always quick to praise others for their accomplishments on the field while shouldering the blame when the team loses. It's something that's great to see from a team captain, especially the quarterback. Good luck in Yellowknife, Parm! I'm glad you get to play with some of your old teammates in BOOM and taters, and I know your GMs will do everything they can to make you feel right at home. It's only fitting that you are replacing the first QB in Royals history, and hopefully you can be just as successful.” Now to say some words, we have Sebster (@Sebster). “ Parm was a boon during my time in London. I had the opportunity to play with him as a teammate and work with him as his GM. He will always hold a place in my heart as the first QB I was in charge of as a GM and I have the highest of hopes (and expectations) for him in the ISFL. Good luck, Parm!” Next up we have Deadly (@DeadlyPlayer), “ Lennay Kekua had this to say: "It's a damn shame to lose one of the finest quarterbacks in the league. Over the four seasons, we became quite close but I am ecstatic to see him get his chance in the big leagues! Couldn't have happened to a better guy like Dustin. Hey Dustin, if you see this you better light it up for us, London Royals forever baby!" In reality, Parm was a great QB and a great user, which I enjoyed in the London LR. Always contributing and talking no matter the time of day. I am excited to see how he does on YKW, a former team of mine. Love ya Parm, don't be a stranger now with all your newfangled success in the ISFL!” Now we have Duke (@Modern_Duke) ,” I have been around for the career of every Royals quarterback and I can comfortably say no one has come close to the passion that Parm had, living and dying with each win and loss. I want to thank him for the contributions he made to the team on and off the field, and I hope he enjoyed his time here, not to mention all the team records he broke along the way.” Now we have abh (@abh89) here to say something “Parm, congrats on the call up to the big leagues! It's great to see another Royal stepping in to replace the first ever London Royal, Colby Jack. It's been great having you on the team for the past few seasons. You were always an exciting player on the field and off the field and brought energy to the team at all times. Best of luck in Yellowknife, and remember, once a Royal, always a Royal!” Finally we have Lucid ( @Luciddreams702) “ Parm has been a Leader of this Royals offense almost since day one. He strives for success as a QB and won't accept anything less. Statistically Parm will leave London as one of the best Quarterbacks to play for the team. He will leave as the Passing Yards leader and the Passing Touchdown Leader. Parm thank you for everything you’ve done for the Royals, best of luck next season we will all be rooting for you. Your presence in our locker room will be missed and you are leaving behind a legacy as another great Royals Quarterback.” Thank you to everyone for all those kind words. Now let's get into the fun part, STATS!!! Like said before, Parm was one of the best QBs to ever play in London. He holds almost every record in the London record book. Him and i made a deadly Duo and we combined for at least 43 London Franchise records including Most Passing Yards and Receiving Yards in a Season and Career, Most Passing TDs and Receiving TDs in a Career, and Most Completions and Receptions in a Game, Season, and Career. Parm finished his career with 954 completions on 1542 attempts for 10,666 yards, a completion percentage of 61.9%, 64 TDs, 36 INTs, and a QB rating of 86.6. That averages out to 318 completions on 514 attempts for 3,555 yards, 31 TDs, and 12 INTs per season and 22 completions on 36 attempts for 254 yards, 1.5 TDs, and .8 INTs per game. I loved having Parm on my team and even more as my QB. Without Parm I wouldn't be the WR I am now and wouldn't be as good as I am right now. Parm and I currently share the record for most game balls in a career in London Franchise History and I couldn't be happier to share it with him nor could I ask for anyone else to share it with. If I have to share it with anyone, I'm happy it's Parm. He was a Teammate, and Best friend of mine and I hope he can bring his great personality, locker room presence and skills to Yellowknife well. Good luck buddy, I’ll miss you and can't wait to play against you. Don't forget about me when you become famous and the best QB in yellowknife History.
