Patrik Money has been thinking about retirement for a while now. He’s into his 11th season in the league and he doesn’t have a lot more left in the tank. His plans for after football are simple. He doesn’t have the brain and tactical knowledge to really stay in the game. He just stands on the DL and runs at people. He does however have his successful potato farming business in Yellowknife that he intends to continue. Without the time required playing football, he may even be able to expand his business to other areas and use his free time to manage farms in better climates for growing crops than just in the harsh climate of Yellowknife.
He does intend to stay connected to the ISFL though. He still very much enjoys the game and shall be watching as many games as his time allows him to. His long career at Yellowknife means he will have season tickets for life there and could also travel to see some matchups he’s never had the chance to watch before outside of the film room.
