Defensive Line Standouts - Week 12
Welcome to week 12 of our Season 3 Defensive Line Standouts! Life got in the way a bit this weekend so I’ll be doing the list only, without analysis (except for the steam standings). I hope to back to normal by week 13/14 and our end of the season review.
Defensive End Top Performers
F. Wozy ($ x7) 8 TCK, 3 TFL, 3 SCK
B. Blade ($ x7) 7 TCK, 2 TFL, 1 SCK
C. Okonkwo ($ x5) 6 TCK, 3 TFL
Other Great Performers
R. Maddox ($$$$) 5 TCK, 1 TFL, 1 SCK
J. Tuck ($ x9) 5 TCK, 1 TFL, 1 SCK
B. Metas ($ x5) 3 TCK, 2 SCK
**I originally had D. Dam on this list, however, it has come to my attention that he was playing LB in their 3-4 defense. He has been removed.**
Defensive Tackle Top Performers
M. Ramrio ($ x7) 3 TCK, 3 SCK
D. Miller ($ x12) 9 TCK, 1 TFL 1 SCK
B. Bot ($$$) 5 TCK, 2 TFL, 1 SCK
Other Great Performers
C. Chambers ($$) 6 TCK, 2 TFL
K. Hendrix ($ x5) 4 TCK, 1 SCK
V. Cox ($ x9) 4 TCK, 1 SCK
Team Appearances After Week 12*
Baltimore: 25 - 2
San Jose: 23 - 3
Arizona: 21 - 2
Las Vegas: 19 - 2
Orange County: 17 - 0
Yellowknife: 15 - 1
Philadelphia: 12 - 1
Colorado: 11 - 1
The top and bottom three each stay the same this week, with our only changing coming in the very middle of the pack, with Las Vegas jumping Orange County for fourth place. Colorado and Philadelphia continue to hold down the bottom but were able to put one player each on our list this week, ending Colorado’s skid at two consecutive weeks without a player here. Orange County, on the other hand, was the only team to not have a player make our list this week. Dan Miller, of the San Jose SaberCats, continues his ridiculous streak at twelve appearances in twelve weeks. A perfect season is just within his grasp!
*Just a reminder, this ranking is not necessarily indicative of how well a team’s defense is operating as a whole. For example, the Arizona Outlaws lead the league in sacks by 23 but, are currently tied for second on our list in number of individual appearances.
