Captain Rogers exits the stadium, duffle bag over his shoulder, wearing his patented award-winning smile. He has won another championship with his hometown New York Silverbacks. The years so far have been peaceful enough to keep him in football, and the sport has given the former super soldier purpose that he thought he'd never find again.
As he's walking to his motorcycle, his cell phone starts ringing. An unknown number. "Fury."
Roger's smile has faded. He sighs and revs his engine before tearing off into the night. Thanos is coming.
Cap pulls into the Avenger's compound where the fight has already begun. The big purple guy is shouting about wiping out the entire planet along with half the universe. Captain Rogers unleashes his shield directly at Thanos' neck, and the vibranium disc slashes straight through, decapitating him. Well, that was anti-climatic. Universe saved.
Roger's old friend Bruce Banner says some mumbo jumbo about a machine he's built for time travel. Rogers remembers his past. An old love. He takes the opportunity to go back and live the life he had sacrificed so many years prior.
Upon his return to the present, Cap is now much, much older, sporting soft white hair and wrinkled leathery skin. He grins and says, "I need to see my team."
Rogers returns to New York Silverback facilities the next day. Nobody on the team recognizes him, until he pulls out his shield. They are taken aback, speechless. Captain Rogers walks straight up to his fellow running back, Brandon Prince, who had been backing him up for many seasons prior.
"Take this. Tell me how it feels."
"It feels like it belongs to me. I been waiting forever to take up your spot!"
"Oh, thats not how I imagined that going. Well, it does belong to you. I wish you, and everyone else on the team, the best of luck. We are many people, with many flaws, and many chances to grow. We already have grown so much, and the naysayers will try to take that away from us. They will try to bring us down a peg, will try to take whatever they can. But after last night, we became Champions. And that is something they can never take away from us. Thank you, New York."

After going through this career with my second player, I was able to have some new experiences in the league on new teams and met some great people along the way. I had been hoping that Rogers would have a bit better of a career than he did, and am disappointed it didn't turn out the way I'd hoped, but in the end I was able to add two more Ultimus trophies to my collection so I can't be too upset with how everything turned out. I also retired as the New York franchise leader in yards, TDs, and YPC, which is something to be proud of even if it happened while on an expansion team.
I would like to thank Norfolk for starting me out strong with an Ultimini and for being the best locker room in the DSFL. I would like to thank New York for giving me a true home in the ISFL. I could tag so many people here but I don't want to leave anyone out. I think you all know who you are and I'd like you to know how much I truly appreciate you for being a part of my life in the sim league world.
I'm super excited for my next player, but for now I'll be taking a break until trade deadline. It will be nice to take a step back and be able to focus more on the Community Moderation team. When I do create my player though the GM's better keep their eyes out for a max earner but be warned, I'm gonna go a bit of the diva route this time and focus solely on stats and individual awards as the only thing I haven't been able to do in my time here has been to make an all-time great player. I want one player to win awards and have a real shot at the hall of fame, so hopefully this one is the one. I know personality wise I can't commit to being a diva so don't worry about how I act since I'll be the same person.
In closing, thank you everyone for reading. It has been an honor being Captain Rogers.
