The word "legacy" is defined as something that is received from someone who has died. Emi was a huge member of the sim league community across multiple leagues and was taken from us too soon at the very young age of 26 from cancer. By far the biggest impact she made was mentoring young users. If you ask any of her mentees their opinion of Emi, they could talk your ear off for hours about how important Emi was for their start in the PBE and their trajectory. Emi’s positive spirit throughout the fight for her life is something that will always be an inspiration.
But WE have the opportunity to pay her back for all she did for us. The Cancer Research Institute is funding the best scientists doing the most promising research—all while promoting awareness, sharing up-to-date immunotherapy information, and inspiring lifelong advocacy for the cause. We are proud to be raising money for this organization through our multi-sim league charity drive.
No matter how much you give, whether big or small, we thank you for helping us honor her. #ForEmi

This season’s charity event, we are supporting the Cancer Research Institute with more help from the sim league community than ever before. We have 8 leagues participating in this charity event: PBE, ISFL, SHL, SCFSL, WSBL, EFL, WBA, GFSA. Together we aim to raise $12,600 and when we reach this milestone, we will have another commish drunkcast (with PersonMann) but also have a bunch of other fun events we are working on the details for.
Events for the fundraiser will be held in each league so keep an eye out for announcements to come.
Now time for some ISFL Specific information.
Just like in S28, I will once again be running point on this, working between the league, HO and the charity organisers of the other leagues to make this event as amazing as possible in order to give back to such a deserving cause. Just like last time, there will be milestone goals as a league, as well as the opportunity for each and everyone one of you to get involved by offering up auctions, perks or milestones for the event. If you have something that you wish to do for the charity event, please either DM on discord DarknessRising#6537 or on the forum.
As for the timeline of the event, I will be taking and building out the sheet with the communities offerings for the auctions and perks, that will start to take place and go live for bidding/buying on the 4th of January, 12:01am. These auctions and perks will be live for two weeks, concluding on the 17th of January 11:59PM, before final donations are tracked down to give us our finally tally. There are both special events in the works both involving other leagues and solely ISFL, that along with the sheet of auctions, milestones and perks, procedural rules and anything else, will be announced a little closer to the date once fully confirmed.
As the second time running the charity event, I can honestly say nothing has ever made me feel more thankful and grateful for this community than hosting the last such event. Its a honour to lead this for the league knowing how much support will be given to this. If there is any questions whatsoever, please don’t hesitate to ask me or anyone else because this is an amazing cause for an amazing individual.
