Unfortunately I am forced here into saying something nice about @TheCC but he was definitely my mentor when I first joined this league in season 26. I had the priveledge of being a completely new user to sim leagues and being drafted first overall by Minnesota thanks to CC and @BenDover. They took a chance on me as a brand new quarterback and CC really took me under his wing as much as he didn't want to kek. He helped me with my builds, always made sure I stayed on top of what I needed to do, and was overall an amazing person to be able to message whenever and feel like I can rely on. Even after I left Minnesota, we still keep contact about the league and other things in general and I could not have asked for someone better to start my ISFL journey learning from and still being close to this day.

I am a young player who has yet to taste of the major league. As such the major mentor has been my DFSL GM Negs. He claimed me off waivers early last season. He found a place for a third string running back as depth wide receiver. He has been there weekly encouraging me and he has cheers loudly when I have done well. He lead us to a championship. He is more than just a GM, he is a friend. When I became a SSL GM, I selected him because I wanted my friends with me on my team. He has guided me all the way to where I am today.I am thankful to have him as a mentor. I now know that Negs is stepping away from GM responsibilities at the end of the season. I wish my friend the best at whatever he does in the future. I will miss him.
Well for me, when I joined the ISFL it was my first sim league. I was totally at sea and had no idea of what I was doing. So when I was drafted by Portland, Zeagle the GM was a great help. Though I just need to say at this point that it wasn’t just Zeagle but the whole Portland team at that time, in filing Simo / C9Van / Pau it was a great team. Without them who knows if I’d still be here today.
All the group were great in helping me get to grips with the how Sim leagues work and the intricacies that sim league come with. The second mentor is like to shout out to is TubbyTim, who’s been helping me get to grips with the GM role at Portland. Something that’s I’ve really enjoyed and hopefully will continue for a while and into the future. Hopefully in a few seasons time I’ll able to return the lesson to someone new like I was. |
