Susan: Hello everyone, my name is Susan Silverhand today I had the chance to interview promising prospect Tom Taylor who recently just got sign to the Minnesota Greyducks in the DFSL!
Susan: Let’s get to know you a bit. Tell us why did you start playing football?
Tom: As a young child I never wanted to play football, but my best friend Jack did, and he wanted to make it to the ISFL. Unfortunately, one day at a house party I witness my best friend Jack get shot to death. This hurt me so much. The only way I felt like I could move on from this was to make jack proud of me, so I decided to achieve Jack’s dream of making to the ISFL for him. I then dedicated my life to this goal.
Susan: What impact do think you can make for the Minnesota Greyducks after joining the team so late in the season?
Tom: I know that I will be able to make a huge impact in helping the team’s secondary unit I feel as I get more reps and start to be more adjusted to this league and with team, I will be able to excel and be the most feared player on the field.
Susan: How do you feel that there is already multiple stand out safeties on the roster that you’ll be sharing playing playtime and even could be backup to them?
Tom: To be honest with you this wasn’t the ideal thing I hopped for. I do believe that things do happen for a reason, and I think this could be a blessing in disguise. I feel that this will be great a learning opportunity for me to learn after some of the standout safeties that the Greyducks have. I’m excited.
Susan: To wrap this up I want to ask you what do you want to say to all the people watching or hearing this who may not know you?
Tom: What I want to say to the people who may not know me yet and to all the Minnesota Greyducks fans is that I will give it my all on and off the field to strive and became a better player. I also want them to know that I can guarantee them that I’m here to stay and not the be surprised when I become the best safety in ISFL history.
Susan: Thank you so much for this interview we looked forward to seeing what the future holds for you.
