Xavier walks up to the podium and fumbles with the mic. He clears his throat as he awaits questions. "All right, let's have it!"
@PurpleReign
Are you excited for the draft?
Beyond jacked. I cannot wait to see where I land and how my journey in the league truly begins.
Where do you think you will end up going in the draft if you have any ideas?
All the mocks have me at pick 2 with the Royals or 4 with the Pythons. Both have awesome locker rooms and I feel I could provide a nice boost immediately on the defense. I would be open to either but ultimately I predict the Royals will be my landing spot.
What has been your favorite part of the league so far?
The community has been just so amazing. The helpfulness combined with this class being so active and friendly. I honestly think my fellow rookies and I will be in the league for a long time and continue to grow in this league. Been great finding a community that I can deep dive into you know?
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
Burritos easy6. So many combinations and ways to do them. I also just straight love Mexican food! Hey, maybe the Luchadores will take me...
@firstfray
In the prospect bowl you missed 5 tackles and had a tackle rate of 85%, how do you plan to address this, and do you have any comments for teams wary of this?
This is a fair question. I definitely underestimated how much bulk I need to add coming from a D3 college. This is being remedied during the offseason as well as lots of time with my coach with tackling drills. I just straight need to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I'm taking every opportunity to make those gains, even buying a state-of-the-art home gym. To the teams that are watching me: I promise to produce on the line and learn my way in this league. I will be a star.
The biggest day of your life is coming up in a few days. How have you been preparing for this? Are you nervous come Saturday?
Definitely nervous. It's such a big deal and your DSFL team can set up your career and trajectory. I've been getting to know GMs and fellow rookies so any new Locker Room feels like home. Been great picking the brains of veterans and getting help on what I should be focusing on.
How do you plan to spend your Saturday?
I'm gonna work out in the morning, eat a light breakfast/lunch, and then I'll be in a common room (Discord Voice channel) hanging with my fellow rookies. We're gonna have some fun in there!

1) Is there a specific player in the Other League that inspires your play?
If by "Other League" you mean NFL then Aaron Donald for sure. Hard not to want to be him as a DT. If it's ISFL then Big Edd has been a force at our position and would like to surpass him.
2) If an offensive play were designed for you, would you rather it be a run or a pass?
Run for sure. These hands were not made for catching footballs. Tried that as a kid and it was a no-go. Hitting the opponent though? Yeah that worked.
3) What is your favorite technique to get past an O-lineman?
Spin move. Get to watch them miss you straight up. Also, who doesn't love to spin? There are whole amusement rides dedicated to it.
4) After you've loaded your groceries into your car, do you return your cart to the cart collection area?
Definitely and I'll collect a few that others didn't put away. I'm no savage.
@Jaywe88
What are your ambitions in the league?
HOF would be ideal though definitely a lofty goal. I would love to lead the league one season in Tackles for Loss. Stuffing a run or getting a sack just feels so good.
What kind of toppings do you put on a standard beef hot dog?
Mustard, onion, maybe some relish if I'm feeling it.

1: Is that twitter beef with Derrick Prince real or fictional?
Hahah great question. No I love Derrick and the fire he brings. Would be great to be in the same team, but if not then we can continue ribbing each other. Whenever you have two strong personalities on different sides of the ball it can get explosive on and off the field.
2: Star player on the worst team or backup on the best team?
Trick question, I'll always elevate a team to be better than the worst. To answer more fairly, backup on the best team. DT is not a particularly flashy position usually so you always play a backup role to LBs and even DEs. I would love to change that though and show what a DT can really do. What I'm saying is that my presence on the field can change a game even if I'm not ultimately making a play, that's what a good DT does. We force double teams and wreck plays by simply being there.
3: Who would, in your eyes, be your role model?
Hard to say anyone but Big Edd. Dude's a legend and want to surpass his legacy.
@DREAMSLOTH
What is your armor made out of?
This will just make you sad but it's regular pads that I have an artist paint o look like armor. Sorry!
@xenosthelegend
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Ben and Jerry's The Tonight Dough.
Thanks all! That will be enough for now.
