I was recently invited to be the ISFL celebrity representative for the semi-annual North Pacific Pickleball Jamboree, whose proceeds go towards the development of animal shelters. After three days and a cumulative 26 hours playing the sport, I can confidently tell you I still have no idea how it is played. There's a ball you hit it and that's about all I know. The crowd seemed to really enjoy it though, and the animals that were there as well seemed to really enjoy watching me play. Or maybe it was just the fact I was the only edible player in the competition, that might have had something to do with it... anyways, I was carried literally and figuratively by my partner, whose name I have completely forgotten much like the rules of pickleball despite them being described to me over ten times the past weekend. I don't think I will be invited to participate in next year's event.
