(This post was last modified: 06-04-2022, 07:42 AM by soevil. Edited 1 time in total.)
I was late on the Dotts train and have not really had a ton of time to grow my collection.
In the last few weeks, I never opened any packs and just let it grow, as I wanted to have a spreadsheet where I could keep track of my collection.
I never really got the chance to get that, so eventually I just decided to make my own and I have now finished that spreadsheet.
In this time, I have accumulated 148 new packs that are waiting to be opened.
Currently, before opening them, I own 587 of 2667 total cards, which is 22%, so a bit more than 1 of 5 cards. Which is obviously not great yet!
I wonder how many of those 148 new packs will be new cards, how many will be duplicates, etc.
Here is my breakdown before opening:
Arizona Outlaws 53 of 192
Austin Copperheads 25 of 160
Baltimore Hawks 47 of 221
Berlin Fire Salamanders 16 of 122
Chicago Butchers 32 of 145
Colorado Yeti 57 of 223
Honolulu Hahalua 27 of 164
New Orleans Second Line 80 of 182
New York Silverbacks 20 of 177
Orange County Otters 48 of 177
Philadelphia Liberty 56 of 187
San Jose Sabercats 39 of 208
Sarasota Sailfish 27 of 201
Yellowknife Wraiths 60 of 284
587 of 2643
Team Logo 0 of 12
Backup 177 of 409
Starter 106 of 402
Starter 86 of 442
All-Pro 116 of 324
Legend 19 of 121
Award 11 of 240
Hall of Fame 1 of 53
Ultimus Champion 16 of 249
Holograph Expansion 0 of 27
Autograph Rookie 12 of 116
Fantasy Kings 0 of 6
Captain 26 of 153
Team Logo 0 of 12
Unique 0 of 19
Charity 17 of 59
Least Valuable Player 0 of 23
587 of 2667
The difference in totals between the first and second bunch is likely because of minors charity cards, which makes sense.
So let me start opening packs and I will update later!
(Obviously for you reading this, no time is passing here at all).
I am back!
Well, I bought 148 packs, which equals 888 new cards. How many of those were actually new for me? Only 275 of them, which is around 31% of them. That feels kinda low and while I love these cards, it makes it harder and harder to defend spending so much money on them every day when the return is very low.
Here are the updated specific team totals:
Arizona Outlaws 75 of 192
Austin Copperheads 49 of 160
Baltimore Hawks 77 of 221
Berlin Fire Salamanders 30 of 122
Chicago Butchers 50 of 145
Colorado Yeti 84 of 223
Honolulu Hahalua 42 of 164
New Orleans Second Line 90 of 182
New York Silverbacks 32 of 177
Orange County Otters 65 of 177
Philadelphia Liberty 79 of 187
San Jose Sabercats 61 of 208
Sarasota Sailfish 39 of 201
Yellowknife Wraiths 89 of 284
862 of 2643
Team Logo 0 of 12
Backup 244 of 409
Starter 137 of 402
Starter 148 of 442
All-Pro 166 of 324
Legend 34 of 121
Award 21 of 240
Hall of Fame 1 of 53
Ultimus Champion 24 of 249
Holograph Expansion 0 of 27
Autograph Rookie 17 of 116
Fantasy Kings 0 of 6
Captain 39 of 153
Team Logo 0 of 12
Unique 0 of 19
Charity 31 of 59
Least Valuable Player 0 of 23
862 of 2667
So in total I went from 22% before to now around 32%. Basically gaining 10% of the overall number of cards. That feels a bit better I suppose. So now I have around one third of all cards ever made.
I honestly don't know how I feel about it still and whether I should cancel my order or not. But I guess for now I will keep writing media and keep buying these packs.
