Hey guys, Net here aka Jaycee Higgins. I made a similar piece in the PBE but I figured I should make one here since this is the league I'm 2nd most active in.
For the last 8 months or so I've been pretty semi-active with my earning in the ISFL, and I really hate that I went from max earner to this. My goal was to be a top earner in my draft class and I failed that, however I won't let this affect my growth in this league. But back to what I was saying.
Around October I experienced a very depressive state that lasted several months and it overall made my motivation for a lot of things really low, including sim leagues. I was thankfully able to get help from people in sim leagues, and was able to talk about how I felt during this time in the Grey Ducks discord, which really helped me get through the tough times I had. This lasted until late February-Early March I want to guess but overall I'm happy I was able to vent in that server, I don't know what I would've done without it.
The second factor and probably the one that might stunt future earning is that I'm about to enter my senior year of high school, and after seeing how stressful applying to college can be to a lot of people, I'm going to do my best to make this time as stress-free as possible for myself and my family. I'm already doing a good job at this goal and hopefully should get this all solved very fast.
Now, does this mean I'm leaving the league? Absolutely not! I just signed a large extension with the Sabercats for a long time and plan to be a part of their future, and I'm thankful Russ and CK and all the dudes in the lr have been there and believed in me the whole time. I'm back everyone, and let's go San Jose.
