Well my career has just started and it didn't get off to a hot steamy beginning off the bat. I actually ended last season with exactly zero stats. Not a single tackle, pass break up, interception, or fumble forced/recovered. It was a tough season, but that could be the opening chapter. From the bottom to the top. The name of the first chapter would be Putting the 0 in O'Dopaliscious. From there, hopefully the next chapter is how I bounced back and win the most improved player of the season. And continually each chapter after the next is about more an more improvements. From non-stat rookie to DPotY and all the steps in between. I'd keep the book nice and short though. Maybe like 40-50 pages. No buddy actually enjoys reading, right? Like it's just a joke that everyone is in on. Actually, on second thought, I don't think I would write a book about my player. Movies are always better, so I would just my story a movie instead.
The book that Nick Flint of the San Jose Sabercats will write will not even be about his life directly. Instead, Flint will write a cook book about food from each of the cities he came through during his career. This book will contain a recipe for each of the cities' signature dishes, some alternate favorites, and a grouping of desserts. There will be some dished designated as better for a person's health but it will not be the primary purpose of the cook book. This book will be well received and people will buy the book to satisfy their curiosity as to what a former professional athlete can add to the cooking genre. The goal will be for this book to not only get a featured spot in national book stores but ISFL stores as well. This book will allow Flint to continue to live the professional athlete life for years after retiring from the league.
In what is going to be the future top selling book of all time Leonardo was asked to write a book about his life leading him to playing football. The current working title is “From Sewers to Gridiron The McTurtle Story.” Of course dating back to the time of growing up and being exposed to the secret ooze and being training in the martial arts to learn his discipline that has given him an edge on the field. The story would of course feature some of the best stories from all the Mcturtle Brothers. Leo would be able to talk about his time being picked up off waivers by Tijuana to being taken back there by the draft. To the improbable first overall pick in the ISFL draft to Orange County. The stories of him and Raph getting up to no good on their time off. The story that is still being written as history is still unfolding for the McTurtle brothers. It is guaranteed to be a best seller. How could anyone pass on a sports book from a turtle playing pro football.

Pancakes and Pancake Accessories. A story by rookie and Wraith offensive lineman J.T. Kurbis hit the printing press this week, reaching readers across the world. In his new book, J.T. reveals his secrets to his DSFL leading pancake recipe, and all his unique and exciting methods in the “art” of pancake crafting. From batter to flapjack, Kurbis walks readers step by step through his state of the art routine, complete with pictures and guides to allow the reader to follow along at home. Starting with batter, an important but oft overlooked component, J.T. explains his revolutionary batter making technique that allows him to make huge batches of fresh pancakes easily. Then he moves to prepping the cooking space, where J.T. takes the reader through his pre-cooking ritual, with his kitchen setup and equipment that is crucial for a good pancake. Finally, pouring onto the perfect temperature skillet is an important step in any pancake process. J.T. also covers toppings and condiments in the section, going in-depth on his favorites and routine with syrup. Finally Kurbis includes a chapter about his pancake shrine, and offerings to the pancake gods, which he claims are the reason he produces and consumes so many pancakes. Lastly the flip. But you’ll have to get the book for that part. Readers will not want to miss Pancakes and Pancake Accessories, coming soon to a bookstore, or online ordering near you.
Mandrews McHollywood was never much of a writer. To ask him he would tell you that he had never written anything longer than a postcard. So when the book keepers of the league started their project to get both the winners and losers of the various championships that had taken place to write out their perspectives of the seasons the entire team was shocked when McHollywood was approached to write for the Coyotes failed S35 Ultimini run.
The premise of the book was rather simple, take the season game by game for the Coyotes from both the teams and his own perspective. From the 0-2 start to the 3-1 follow up to reach .500 and then the win-loss trades until the 3-0 end to the season to make the playoffs at 8-6. The highlights of the incredible playoff comeback against Portland after losing to them twice in the regular season leading into the downer of the championship loss of 23-14 makes for a memorable, if depressing, end to the chapter. 170 Words
The book that I would have written would be called "Reed-y or Not, Here I Come" and it would be a story about how I got to where I am today in the DSFL/ISFL. The main themes of the book would be about never giving up on your dreams and never stop fighting through tough times. One of my and Austin Morley's favorite childhood sayings is "What do you do when you get a good man down? You kick him, and you keep kicking him until he doesn't get back up". Through my life I have been both the man on the ground and the man doing the kicking. I think that being in both situations has made me a stronger and tougher person because of it. Not everyone will understand, but to be the best you have to beat the best, and that is why you keep kicking them while they're down.
