I could see a Sconnie McSix autobiography being a hit with young adult readers as a true underdog story. The player, a running back who had to help rally his town and state association to even allow them a football team, McSix became one of the most prolific rushers in college football history and put Alaska on the map when it comes to the sport. Continuing the underdog trend, McSix joined the Norfolk Seawolves, the worst team in the DSFL in the prior season, and helped lead them to an Ultimini championship, overcoming his own adversity in the form of shared carries and a lack of McSixes throughout the season to do so. Then, as if there wasn't enough drama, the Baltimore Hawks drafted him and converted him to a wide reciever, and he's already made some impressive plays in his rookie season! This would be like a Mike Lupica novel, but a bit less cliche, and there is no doubt the book tour to follow would only help add to the McSix brand.
