It's been a few games now since Oexius was drafted to the Bucs. The experience was exciting and new. Hearing his name get called and walking up to that stage to receive his congratulations was… refreshing. The first practice was awesome. Specifically because nobody dared ask to see some Oexius’ D. Afterwards, team captains were announced, and low and behold it was your boi!
Jason Oexius
After practice the veteran members of the team said it was tradition that everyone slap the captains asses as they walked into the locker room. Ofcourse, Jason went along with it, but not without consequence. It brought back flashbacks from when he was just a wee chap on the baseball diamond. Every time he’d score a run or make a play his coaches would slap his ass as he ran back into the dugout. It's the very reason he despised the sport. He still believes those men were pedophiles. ALAS, this would not stop Jason Oexius, greatest cornerback to ever live even though no one knows it yet, from playing the sport he loves so dearly. So, Jason ran through that locker room and took as many ass slaps as he could.
Anyways, let's fast forward from there. Passed the partying and the getting so drunk that Jason drunk called glims AND artix all in the span of 10 minutes to tell them how he loved them and how he thinks they should be fired, all the way to Bondi Beaches very first game of the season.
Oh man was Oex poised for some vengeance. He wanted to make the Norfolk Seawolves, the bastards, pay for kicking him out of the locker room while he tried to catch a Wild Tropius on Pokemon GO. Despite Oex meaning no harm to Norfolk, their GM kicked him anyway. For this Oex wanted to make them pay…
Unfortunately, the bucs fell just a teensy bit short from the win this week. Definitely just a teeny weeny itty bitty bit. Although, Oex did come out and put on a show himself. He picked off their quarterback and even returned a punt for almost 70 yards.
Game 2 against Dallas was much better, at least, and ended in a monster win. While game 3 ended in a close loss to Portland. Game 4 was one that Oex had circled on his calendar however. The game against London, his ex team, which was more like a summer fling than a real team relationship. Once Oexius had gotten on the field he looked over to the opponents sideline and made eye contact with Sebster. Seb mouthed the words “I've seen your D” no doubt trying to get inside Jason's head by bringing up his tiny shlong. In response oexius replied “And I have seen yours” of course referring to the Royals actual defense: Alikh, Twenty6, and big Joe Reed. Jason Oexius was not impressed. Before the opening kickoff he gathered his entire team into one big circle and told them all to begin chanting.
“Down with the Queen! Down with the Queen!” they shouted in unison
Oex could see the fear in the eyes of the Royal sideline. They’ve never seen such chemistry before. Before they all knew it the game had started and ended with a Bondi Beach Buccaneer victory moving their new record up to 2-2.
Jason Oexius is glad to be where he is up to this point and is confident this team can win a championship.
