I wanted to get some more money because I keep losing in the casino since IceBear and Repgnar hate puppies and watch videos of little ol' grandmas falling down stairwells and hurting their hips real bad. IceBear sent me a whole playlist on YouTube of this with 463 (!) videos. Did you know one time I saw Repgnar spit on a snail that was just crawling along in the park? He muttered a curse upon its family afterwards too. No one ever heard from that snail again. True story!
From what I gather, the S36 rookies comprise one of the larger classes in recent memory. By and large, not a bad class so far! Roughly 25% of all S36 players have remained active since joining in April 2022, with some of us even finding gainful employment around -- as @"belowavgg" would call it -- the LEAGUE. J is for all the jobs we'll be helping with because we're superstars!
Alright, so what is so special about all these /r/nfl misfits and castaways? Why would TheCC try to destroy so many lives by introducing dot football to us and shattering any and all sense of prioritization and routine we may have had in The Before Time? Let's take a look.
First off, here's a full list of S36 rookies that were called up for this season:

All in all, this class is putting together some solid contributions to the ISFL even in their inaugural seasons. I'm excited to see what this class can do throughout their careers!

Worth noting:
- Of the 74 players from the S36 class, only 19 were called up to the ISFL (25.6%)
- No QB, S, DT, or KP from the S36 class were called up (or if they were, they swapped positions)
- 16 of the 19 callups are over 300 TPE, 10 of which are over 400 TPE; callups range from 218 TPE (Effoff IamYeti) to 428 TPE (Xavier Valorian)
- The average TPE of all callups is 371.63
- 15 of the 19 have updated as of the most recent check (16 July)
Callups by position:
- CB - 3
- DE - 6
- LB - 3

RBs
- Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin leads the way for S36 rookies with 93 carries for 448 yards (4.8 YPC) to along with 2 TDs. His yardage puts him at #17 on the rushing leaderboard for the season. For a few weeks he was only a couple dozen yards away from being ahead of Jim The Vampire, who plays for Austin. The social media manager for Austin is stinky and likes to put soy sauce on ice cream, plus he can't even read or write good!
- Ceti Pyxis is not far behind, with a respectable 89 carries for 385 yards (4.3 YPC) and 3 TDs, good for the number #21 rusher on the season thus far. She adds another 77 yards to that total on 8 receptions, leading all S36 rookie RBs.
- Leandre Diarra is holding a respectable 43/164/3.8, ahead of some RB2s and good for 2nd across all fullbacks in the ISFL.
(My time is getting more limited as of this line for the rest of the article, so I might speedrun this a bit and call out notable stats / players).
WRs
- Let's start at the top -- Zaphod Beeblebrox is a solid candidate for ROTY and/or OROTY, leading all rookie WRs with 75 rec / 755 yards / 10.1 avg / 4 TDs. This also puts Zaphod at #21 in total reception yards, #4 in receptions, and T-29 in receiving TDs.
- Other worthwhile callouts are Leek Mai-Heinous (51/541/10.6/6), Eeeeeeee phenssta (43/520/12.1/1), and Sconnie McSix (44/446/10.1/7). Notably, McSix is T-3rd for receiving TDs.
TEs
- Mister Hogmally is the only TE on the list, but iSteg is showing promise as a leading TE candidate in the future. As a rookie, Hogmally is the #4 TE in yardage (478) and #3 in receptions (60). They are a bit low on the TD end, only having a single taste of the endzone all season.
OL
- J.T. Kurbis is making it clear why he was a first-round selection. Kurbis is #6 on the OL list this season for pancakes and T-3rd in sacks allowed. This pancake lover is putting an early case together for a potential HOF career.
DE
- I think the sim might hate rookie DEs and DTs this season. The majority of defensive output seems to be coming from secondaries and linebacking corps, with defensive lines playing a much more support-heavy role than they typically do in the DSFL. Across the 5 leading S36 rookies on the D line, there's only a total of 9 sacks (Harley Andrews leads the way with 3). There's only 1 forced / 1 recovered turnover between that entire group as well.
CB
- CBs, on the other hand, seem to be doing a-ok. Tae Dawson is putting together a compelling argument for DROTY with 4 INTs (T-3rd), 15 PDs (T-8th), and 1 TD, all while being on one of the lowest-scoring teams in the ISFL.
LB
- Fred Edison is the standout here, 10 tackles ahead of his next-leading rookie contemporary and the top S36 rookie by a country mile. On top of that, Edison is #9 on the board for tackles, and T-5th in PDs across all linebackers. Fred's sack (1) and forced/recovered turnover (1) output is limited, but he's still putting together a solid rookie season.
All in all, this class is putting together some solid contributions to the ISFL even in their inaugural seasons. I'm excited to see what this class can do throughout their careers!
