Hello all, I didn’t really put too much thought into this, but I figured it needs to be done to complete my GM journey.
After being selected with the 42nd pick in the DSFL draft, my excitement for the league would go unwavered as a new create. @Tonzy and @GuitarMaster116 instilled an excitement for me with the Luchadores. But the man responsible for taking it to the next level is @Kotasa. To create an environment where late round creates buy into a culture, is nothing short of amazing. There isn’t anyone else I would want to GM with than him. To never having a losing record is just insane, and I’m proud to be his Co, his brother, and best friend. Funny story, but when Kotasa was first announced as taking over for Tonzy after my first season, I wasn’t a huge supporter (wasn’t a fan of sudden change lol), but I’m so glad I was proven wrong and then some.
Although I could make this all about him, I am retiring to my ranch down in Mexico where I will live until the GM itch happens (if it ever does again). My achievements as a DSFL GM include:
33-9 (78%) record
2-2 playoff record
Ultimini champion
Tijuana Legend
I appreciate everyone involved in my journey, including @mithrandir, @SwankyPants31, @Pat, @TomHanks, @CalvinGolladay, @Ben and countless others who have made an impact to me as a GM. This Ultimini goes out to the team that put in the work and made sacrifices to help Tijuana win it. I couldn’t be happier leaving it in good hands with @PBS. I know this was a team effort, but Kotasa finally winning it as the Tijuana leader was that much sweeter.
