It's weird to stop doing the job I've had the absolute most fun with in all of sim leagues. My time in Tijuana wasn't ever that stressful and honestly I looked forward to doing it each and every day. The plan was never to GM for 8 seasons, but here we are 8 seasons later after taking over and I'm finally stepping down. Ironically it was my last season ring or not, was never really holding out for one but to get one and to be able to ride off into the sunset makes this moment that much sweeter.
First I gotta shoutout all my co-gms I've had @GuitarMaster116 @Exilate @bowl0 and @dude_man thank you for dealing with me! Running this team with you guys was a ton of fun and I wouldn't change it for anything.
There are numerous legends and luchas of old I could shoutout as well but they're in the trippy rich media as well so I won't double post but thank you alumni for still being LR active and really keeping the culture alive.
There are loads of player's I've drafted over the seasons and my initial plan was to tag each and every one of them, but then I looked at the list and realized that would take me way too long and I don't wanna get too sappy in here but to you guys thank you for making each off season fun, the scouting we did and the energy each class brought to the LR made sure that each season was just as much fun as the last.
I did some cool things in Tijuana but the three I am most proud of are as follows
1. Rebranding while keeping the same tone of the original logo. I am super happy with how the new logo looks and was super thankful for all the input we had gotten on it over the course of 3 months.
2. The 69% win percentage I get to retire from DSFL GMing with, that's just nice.
3. The users we've produced from round 1 to round 10 have been great and I'm super thankful to the LR and users we found that bought in and became active when on the verge of inactivity.
Overall man I love this job, part of myself doesn't want to step down since I love it so much but it's time to usher in a new era of Tijuana Football and with that I am happy to announce that @Jaywe88 will be taking over for myself and teaming up with @PBS. I know the both of you love the team and the culture and are 100% the correct choices to lead Tijuana into a new age.
Thank you all again for making my life that much better.
