For this season's fan appreciation day, the Baltimore Hawks are proud to present: The Hawxperiance!
Ever wanted to chuck the rock, not caring if it goes to your team or the other team? Hop into Gimmy J's pick six simulator! Throw the football as hard as you can and watch our virtual DB's run it back for an opponent TD! Rush like avian royalty with the King Goose run-off! Run down our mini field, breaking tackles and brushing off opponents, just like star running backs Dante King and Busch Goose! Ever dreamed of Moss'ing opposing defensive backs? Welcome to the Quick/Six challenge, where you can practice your acrobatic catches in the end zone, just like Luke Quick and Sconnie McSix! If defense is more your cup of tea, check out the Hawks Grecian Experience, as you do your best impersonations of Morpheus and Orpheus Czargyros. Rush the QB, racking up sacks and batting down passes, or try for interceptions yourself as you drop back into the secondary after showing blitz! Finally, if you ever got mad at a kicker for not doing their one job, have a go yourself! Daybe Downbad's Dubious kicking challenge allows you to put yourself in the BAL kicker's shoes as you try to make the game-winning field goal!
Fan appreciation day would be a huge event for a DSFL team. Minor league teams are lucky to have any support from their local communities. The DSFL is different as there isn't a majors team associated with each team. Its like college 2.0. The fans get to see future ISFL stars so I guess they get attached to players that come from their favorite DSFL teams. So my fan appreciation day would revolve around that. The fan interaction with the players. There would be autograph booths. Kids would get to run onto the field and score fake touchdowns. Hopefully some norfolk Alumni that have made the hall of fame or are current stars in the league would make time as well. The whole theme would be the history of the franchise and how the fans make it impactful and possible. No one wants to play in an empty stadium. oh and bobble heads are in. They put butts in seats.

For a fan appreciation day, you are going to need multiple tiers of rewards for people depending on if they are season ticket holders, how long they are season ticket holders, and then just random people that happen to be at the game or in the parking lot. That's right, even the guy who just bought a parking pass and brought his grill deserves something for being present with the team when needed. So for the longest-term season ticket holders, they get invited into the locker room before the game and get to meet with one or two star players. For the regular season ticket holders, they get some sort of signed merchandise from one of the players, not specifically a star but at least a noteworthy name. For the folks who arrived and have tickets, they get a special t-shirt or hat and maybe a food voucher. For that random tailgater in the parking lot, he gets a free package of uncooked sausages and some buns. Live your life, pal.
