The index is well maintained and contains a great deal of information.
One of my wishes since joining the league is that it did a better job of displaying roster stats. Currently, when you select the roster tab for any team, it will show you the attributes for each character rather than their performance on the season so far. It makes getting a picture of the current team difficult as it doesn't reveal things like who is getting targeted the most or has the most yards. Seeing season stats on the roster page would be really great. Also, when selecting individual players, it would be nice to have a stats breakdown of each game during the season instead of having to go into game by game box scores. Lastly, It would be really great if there were a way to see the leaders at each position. All in all, the index is really great, it just seems like some of this information requires having several tabs open at once, and having to dive much deeper into games on your own to get a complete picture. One thing I can say for certain is that the people who keep the index updated do an amazing job.

In Bender's old age, my favorite thing about the index is tracking his rise in the record book. Unfortunately that is not something that can be found directly in the index, but you asked about it so I'm talking about it. Shout out to infinite for making the wolfie dashboard for an easy place to see how your player stacks up against every player past and present. Recently Bender recorded his 100th sack, making him one of only 20 players in ISFL history to do so. That's cool and all but he is still only number 2 in career sacks for OCO. That is the last stat (that I care about) that I am chasing for the OCO record books. Once he gets that, he can happily retire. He only needs 15 more to take sole possession of that leaderboard. Hopefully he has it in him. Oh, my other favorite stat is that he has the same amount of interceptions as Anton Bruckner, a CB. Cmon Bender get just one more.

The index is a great and wonderful thing. I spent most of my first couple seasons using it to write media for the monies. Lot's of who is leading the league week to week type stuff. It is very handy to have all the base stats in one place to comb over and look at. I do wish it included more advanced stats, but also that is a lot harder to do and not really needed. I wish the game itself did a better job of putting award stuff in it. Some of them are just all quarterbacks, regardless of how well another position plays. But back to the index being wonderful. It is truly a blessing that we have something for all of that information to be displayed and perused at our leisure. I do think it would be helpful to display quarter back rushing stats on the same page as their passing stats for easy comparing. Same for running backs and their recieving stats for when some of us lazy people want to see total yards and touchdowns for fantasy purposes and for voting. Neither is a big deal honestly. Or if their was a way to toggle it on or off depending on what you actually want to see.

This point task is somewhat hard for me. It's literally asking to describe why I like looking at box scores and stats in one hundred fifty words, which is something hard for me to do. So, I'll better talk about index itself. I should say that I really like it's usability, and that most of things are hyper-linked, so I can easily get from one thing to another. Index is a right word of it, it seems. Also, I like that it holds all time records for most of the stats, even if only form the time of sim change if I get it right. someday I'll be somewhere there hopefully. And I hope that we will have more stats in it, cause I don't really get why such things as catch rate and catch rate against are not displayed if there is a separate excel file with this info. But that's mostly for people that really like their stats, and overall index is doing it's job very well, so I'm thankful for this
Honestly, the index is one of the most important parts of the ISFL to me. I love being able to pull it up and watch my players statistics grow, however big or small, after each and every game. To me, it really feels like "the game within the game". Of course I care whether or not my DSFL or ISFL team wins, and the ultimate prize is hoisting the Ultimus trophy with my team, but at the same time I want to see how my player compares on the stats sheet. I often look to see how Austin Morley is doing compared to the other wide receivers drafted in the ISFL S36 draft. Though he has yet to be statically the best from that draft class, both of his seasons in the ISFL so far have been respectable with a 1000+ yard effort his rookie season and on pace for almost 1300 yards this season.
