Holy fuck, Mali went 2-1 while putting up some weird ass numbers in all three games and let me just say. My player completely crapped the bed and it was hilarious to see but lets take a look back and see what Mali did right because with two wins we had to do something right? right?
Game 1 (Mastodons vs Spartans):
This game was a nailbiter and boy did both teams put up a fight... somewhat. Lets talk about probably the worst side of the ball first, the offensive side. For the Mastodons, the bot QB put up 303 yards with a 64% completion percentage which is amazing looking at because watching that game it looked like he missed a ton more than that but hey I will take 64%. The problem is he threw for 2 interceptions along with that which is pretty funny. Then on the opposite side of the ball, the QB for the Spartans threw for 155 yards with a completion percentage of 35%. Which means one thing I guess, bot QB supremacy??? Jefferson also threw for two interceptions one of which was returned for a TD by Garth Silver! Rushing I am going to skip over for this game because everyone did bad and it was funny to watch my player personally just run straight into D lineman. Akersloot made all kicks for the Spartans and Kickerson missed one in the 30-39 range because he blows. For receiving The Riddler had a great game for the Spartans for his first showing with a 47 yard game on 3 catches considering his QB couldn't hit a semi truck two feet in front of him. Then McDummy led the Mastodons with 82 yards on 4 catches which is very impressive seeing as he could've had several more if he didn't eat a butterfinger before the game with 8 targets. Only three players recorded sacks with one on Spartans, two on Mastodons. Shoutout to Petrovich, McBobFace and Snow. There were 4 ints total, on Mastodons side we have Silver and Dingle. Then on Spartans side we have Vincent-Vega and Cravy. Then penalties wise all you need to know is I somehow got a penalty my player had a wonderful game here as you can all tell. Ending score was 23-19 with Akersloot as the MVP for outscoring the whole Spartans Offense. Also only 7 third downs converted go teams!
Game 2 (Mastodons vs Centurions):
This game was so painful to watch I was sitting there wondering what kind of league we were all playing for and how any of us will even make a roster then Kickerson proved me wrong by outscoring the Mastodons Offense. Kickerson for the first round even though hes a bot I think. Anyways! Starting off with the QBs, first Bannings from Crossbell Police Academy love the university great place check it out. Completed passes for 264 yards 2 touchdowns and 1 int on a 54% completion. Then lets get over to bot because Bot supremacy. Well he proved Bot supremacy wrong by throwing for 243 yards on 42 passes with a 55% completion and only 1 int. He threw some of the most wild throws I ever seen and thought he was playing for the Harlem Globetrotters where he tought everything was staged but let me tell you the ISFL isn't staged... i think... Anyways rushing game was still pretty bad on both sides but something very impressive from the Centurions side is Hoppe going for 13 yards on 15 attempts. Just so everyone knows when playing football you want to go the direction you are facing, not backwards. This is not a game of tag. Now lets get into receiving Duanei for the Centurions had a very big game with over 100 yards receiving and one touchdown and single handedly bought the Mastodons franchise with the money he pickpocketed from our corners as he ran by them all night, though it did seem he stole McDummy Jr.'s butterfinger as he dropped 50% of the passes because we all know how accurate these QBs are. McDummy Jr. had a better game percentage wise and yards wise putting up 79 yards total making it so he was the top Receiver in the first two games, can not wait to see him shine more. Kickerson made 2 50+ yard field goals! then missed a 20-29 one. Not sure how the math works on that one. Two players got sacks which are Logjammed and Leercor, these offensive lines are doing great. Marie and Dingle both recorded interceptions in the secondary this game. Then do I have a fantastic stat for Mastodon fans. We managed to commit a whopping 14 penalties for 130 yards. We had 4 times as many penalty yards than we did rushing yards lets go team! thats the discipline we know and love! If you could not already tell Mastodon lost in a grueling 12-20. The MVP goes to the Centurions in general with only 2 penalties.
Game 3 (Mastodons vs Stallions):
This was the battle of bot QBs and let me say as a bot supremacist this match was amazing to watch... Not really but I was happy with the outcome so lets get into it. The Mastodon bot threw for 289 yards with 1 td 2 ints and 57% completed passes. While the Stallion bot threw for 251 yards with 2 tds and a 61 completion percentage. Now this game I can talk about the rushing but not my running back he is still consistently sucking like what the heck. Rick Skull ran for 102 yards on 15 attempts which was a monster game so far. Then both of the other Mastodons RBs, Elliot Berry and Ezra Azazel both scored tds! I did not even realize my player scored a TD lets go. When this trio gets going they can get work done as we see in this game. Receiving wise McDummy Jr fell off the face of the earth this game and was replaced by Lopez Alonso with 111 yards with Tolliver having reeled in a TD. This is a historic game for Mastodons it seems. Someone take a picture this may never happen again. On the Stallions side well there rushing was meh, there receivers were pretty good with Robinson catching 100% of the passes thrown their way for 67 yards and Entreri going for 72 yards. Neither kicker missed a kick can this game get any better???? Diddler III and Pierre III record a sack each for the Stallions as Logjammed continues to jam the offensive line with his third sack in three games. Penalties wise the Mastodons got a bit wiser minus Silver Garth having half of our penalties what the heck dude. The Stallions though had a whopping 10 penalties. The Mastodons had 3 turnovers but still managed to come out with the win of 27 to 17. The MVP of this game is Lopez Alonso having a great game that led to the Mastodons to a vicious offensive attack.
That is my recap of the Mastodons games, I apologize if I crapped on your player but we all suck right now and my player is bottom of the rung so lets go Mastodons!
