[div align=\\\"center\\\"]There are two left the Otters and the Sabercats! So, these are going to be a little more interesting as they will come post S3 Draft. I wish I had time to do them before, but it did not end up that way, but hey, here we go! Again, this has nothing to do with the players themselves, but looking at everything from a birds eye view. I look at activity and statistics mostly.
Trade DE Adamle Tomlinson
I know JBearly means a lot to many teams, but he is inactive. He is not going to help you in a couple seasons. Explain his benefit now to a lot of teams for the next 1-2 seasons and love the return that you will get back. I would even take a downgrade in order to get an active player. A team like the Outlaws or Liberty may be looking for a guy to bolster their team, so this could be an interesting target for a couple teams. I think you are trying to prey off teams looking to win it all now. I think for the Otters, you can afford to move him with guys such as JD Boom and Jimmy Cox being your future. I think you can spend more time, effort, and money towards those two than this guy. You will get worse over the short term, but this will be a long-term move. Cox is a solid player, I would put more effort into him. (Insert Cox joke here)
Trade CB Jackson Harris
Marc Spector, Jonathan King, and Anthony Petrakis have to be your plan moving forward. Now, I would move Harris now that you brought in King for picks. I just do not see this guy doing anything but hogging a roster spot and money. Might as well move him for a team looking to add some depth to the secondary. I think this could be a solid boom/bust pick if someone can grab DT and get him back here. I think for the team trading for him, that could be a huge steal if you get DT back, if not, he will be a waste. I wouldn't expect a lot from him, but I feel like it's worth a shot to move him anyway.
Trade DT JJ Reigns
I think Reigns is a lot of the similar reasoning to Harris. You just do not need him anymore, so move on. I think this is less of a need to move because he fills a hole and is a better player than a bot. Right now, you really do not have better, but I would absolutely look to move eventually. If your season starts to go south, I would look to sell him off. I think that another look for picks would be a good deal for both teams. A 3rd - 4th round pick would do the trick. Why wouldn't both teams do that?
Trade K/P Al Sims
I would trade him because you have 3 freaking K/P on your team. Do you need backups? Does the K/P get hurt? Stephon Simpson and Joey Langdon are on your roster. Why did you draft two P/K in this last draft? I am very confused as you knew that Sims wasn't going to play for anyone else but your team. Trade him because this would be something. Drama isn't usually fun, but I have no patience for people picking the team that they want to be drafted by. It's a draft for a reason. If you didn't want to be in a draft, go to Free Agency. Stop complaining. I'd move this guy based off pure precedence.
Trade OL Greg Clegane
You can get an arm, a leg, and maybe one testicle for this guy. He's inactive, so it would be another case of a guy that you can get a lot from if your team goes south. I mean, you really do not have a replacement, but if the offer is good enough, why would you not take it? I mean, yeah, he's great now, but in 2-3 seasons, he will be just better than a bot. I think right now is where you will get max value, so take it and run. You will love what you see later.
Build around LB Julian O'Sullivan
I love this guy, have always been a fan of this guy. You keep him, you make sure you re-sign him. You made this guy your first round pick, you NEED to keep him. What a great pick it was and really a steal. I really think this pick was a Top 3 value pick in this past draft. I think that King, Boggs, and this guy could be the top 3 picks of this past draft when we look back about 5 seasons from now. Can you tell I am a O'Sullivan fan?
Send down CB Jonathan King
I think Jonathan King has a ton of potential, but you really have no need for him right now. I would make him your first ever send down. I really think he has some learning and watching to do, so sending him down could do exactly that. I think this guy should be ready next season to do awesome for this team, but he may need a year of development first.
Keep around most of S1 Draftees
Look at the quality of the Season 1 Draft. Leroy Jenkins, Robert Phelps, Dominic Verns, Bradley Westfield, Ian Bavitz, George Wright Jr., Mike Boss, Angus Winchester, and Anthony Petrakis. What a solid S1 Draft. If I was this team, I would be keeping these guys around. They are solid veteran presence with a lot of growing still to do! I think these can be the win-now and the future of this team. Even if this team starts to go south, I would be keeping these guys around. They play very important roles on your team and really need to be the focus of your team moving forward. [/div]
