This is coming out a bit later than I had planned on it but I am going to finish this up before the games today. I essentially made a stat sheet showing me who leads in specific categories and how they rank among others. The stats included are Drive Efficiency (on how many drives did they score), 3rd down efficiency, 4th down efficiency, time of possession and penalties. As well as all of the normal stats such as passing and rushing, I have my sheet setup so that I will be able to see how each team progresses and know their average which will give me a better idea of how they will perform. If you have any ideas for stats you would like to see included let me know!
Note: Any stat labeled with a T before placement means tied for. Example (T6th)
1. London Royals (1-0)
The London Royals looked very dominant out of the gate this season and this game proved they had a lot to be proud of. Despite narrowly beating the defending champions, they played very dominantly on both sides of the ball and had a good balance against one of the best teams in the league. They had the second highest drive efficiency managing to score on 60% of their drives which is very good seeing as the average of all teams was 42.4%. The Royals easily take the top spot and look to continue a great start to their year.
The Good -
Drive Efficiency (2nd) - 60%
3rd Down Percentage (1st) - 54%
4th Down Percentage (1st) - 100%
Passing Yards (3rd) - 317
Completion % (3rd) - 65%
Yards per Attempt (T3rd) - 8.6
Rushing Yards (3rd) - 147
Yards Per Carry (3rd) - 5.1
Pancakes (1st) - 34
Sacks (T2nd) - 4
Time of Possession (1st) - 34 minutes
What could use improvement -
Penalties (Last) - 10
Turnovers Allowed (Tied for Last) - 1
Turnovers Forced (Tied for Last) - 0
Fumbles Forced (Tied for Last) - 0
Passes Defended (6th) - 3
Interceptions (Tied for Last) - 0
2. Tijuana Luchadores (1-0)
After the most dominant week one performance I feel it would be criminal to put the Luchadores lower than this, having probably the most efficient game in a large majority of stats. The offense headlined this game with playmakers coming from all across the field. Bannings had a wonderful game with the highest completion percentage and 3rd highest in yards per attempt. The offense was not the only thing that was stellar though. The defense was lockdown especially the secondary with one interception and seven passes defended. This was a Tijuana team that proved they came to win.
The Good -
Drive Efficiency (1st) - 70%
First Downs (T1st) - 19
3rd Down Efficiency (2nd) - 50%
Turnovers Allowed (Tied for First) - 0
Turnovers Forced (Tied for First) - 1

Passes Defended (T1st) - 7
Interceptions (T1st) - 1
Blocked Kicks (T1st) - 1
Penalties (T1st) - 3
What could use improvement -

4th Down Efficiency (Tied for Last) - 0%
Pancakes (T5th) - 20
TFL (Last) - 0
Sacks (T5th) - 1
Fumbles Forced (Tied for Last) - 0
3. Portland Pythons (1-0)
The Pythons may be an interesting pick for 3 but they were one of the most efficient teams on the offensive side of the ball and I feel they can only improve on the defense. They were above average in every offensive category which makes them one of the only two teams to do that with the other being London. They squeaked out a great win against minnesota in an offensive battle and I look forward to seeing how they play against the defending champion Coyotes.
The Good -
First Downs (3rd) - 17
3rd Down Efficiency (3rd) - 38%
Passing Yards (2nd) - 324

Tackles (Last) - 34
TFL (T5th) - 1
Fumbles Forced (Tied for Last) - 0
Interceptions (Tied for Last) - 0
4th. Kansas City Coyotes (0-1)
This will be a controversial one but I feel putting the defending champions below half the league after the game is a mistake so I will put them right on the line. Looking back at their game against London it was a very close game that if we see some improvement on the offensive side we could easily see the Coyotes taking the rematch when they play again. Their defense though stood their ground being above average in every category besides blocked kicks (but only one team is). They are the only team to be above average in all of these categories which makes them a force to be reckoned with even though they lost.
The Good -
Drive Efficiency (3rd) - 45%
Turnovers Allowed (Tied for First) - 0
Turnovers Forced (Tied for First) - 1
Yards Per Carry (2nd) - 5.2

4th Down Efficiency (Tied for Last) - 0%
Rushing Yards (6th) - 99
Penalties (7th) - 7
Time of Possession (Last) - 26
5. Norfolk Seawolves (1-0)
The Seawolves did not come out of the gate looking as strong as they did but their is only improvement from here on out. Barely squeezing by with a win against the Buccaneers is most likely thanks to their ability to get first downs but they did not really see any large success in any other category. Bondi Beach's defense proved that they were here to play and definitely made their presence felt. Nonetheless, the Seawolves proved themselves to be the better team for the time being.
The Good -
First Downs (T1st) - 19
Sacks (T2nd) - 4

Passes Defended (Tied for Last) - 1
Interceptions (Last) - 0
6. Bondi Beach Buccaneers (0-1)
The Buccaneers showed up to play the first week and I was extremely surprised and I think they played a great game and were a play or two away from a win. Their defense was very dominant compared to what it was last season slowing down a fast paced Norfolk team. I think they may be an underdog for this season so I am excited to see where they go from here! If they get that offense going they will be a force on both sides.
The Good -

7. Minnesota Grey Ducks (0-1)
This was a very weird team to rank as they did lead some of the best categories but at the same time they were dead last in some very crucial categories. They had a game that revolved around a lot of big plays and if this offense can just like work on their efficiency and clock management they could be a much better team.
The Good -
4th Down Efficiency (2nd) - 50%

8. Dallas Birddogs (0-1)
Well the good news is that Dallas can only go up from here. They did have some good sides of such a one sided affair for example in their run game they were pretty dominant but not being able to get a pass game going did not help. If they were to get some good waiver additions I am sure they could complete this team on the receiving side but they also look to bolster their defense all over. This is not the end of the world but seeing as one rookie seemed to have left Gadget on read maybe it is lol.

This is my power rankings for this week and will be keeping my chart up to date with averages of each of these stats and I will probably make a separate one for totals but I will mainly be reviewing averages because I believe it shows what a team is truly capable of versus a total. If you would like to see any stats just wanted to repeat and say let me know.
