Sinjin Flimjollywop was born in a small village somewhere near the Himalayan Mountains in India. His parents were tired of the dreary life they were stuck in, surrounded by goats, lacking indoor plumbing. They decided to embark on a quest to provide a better life for their pride and joy, little Sinjin. They had no money for a flight so they made their journey on foot until they found a harbor with large cargo ships headed to America they knew they could catch a ride on. Sinjin and his parents spent the next week in a crate fighting sea sickness and this cheeky little rat that kept trying to steal their bread crumbs. By the time the ship finally landed on the East coast Sinjin and his parents were barely alive. They were found in the crate and rushed to a nearby hospital. They were all in critical condition and the doctors were sure all three of them were gone, but they were wrong. Sinjin Flimjollywop was one tough little mofo. He was the sole survivor of his family that day. Sinjin was taken under the care of the US government and placed in temporary foster care until they could find him a permanent home. Sinjin hated this family, as they used him as their slave and treated him like dirt. One day the rage had built up inside of him to such an extent that he blacked out and charged at his foster parents and trucked through them like an Indian William Perry. They ran out of the house in pure shock and fear and called the foster agency to have Sinjin taken away. But Lady Luck was finally smiling down on Sinjin, as the agency had found him a new permanent family up in the great state of Michigan. He was moved there as quickly as possible to meet his new loving family. This new family wasn't rich by any means, but it was the most money Sinjin had ever seen. The next few years of Sinjin's life were confusing to him, as he could only do his best to learn the culture and behavior of Americans. By the time his Senior year of high school rolled around Sinjin was a full grown man. He had never played any sports in his life but he was naturally athletic and it showed. The schools football coach approached him and asked him to play, to which he reluctantly said yes just to be polite. At Sinjin's first practice he had no idea what he was doing, but he went out there right in the middle of the defense as he was told. His coach said to him, "Now son, I know this is all very confusing to you, but I know you and I know you can do this. Just think about whatever makes you more angry than anything else in this world, and then use that anger to find the ball and absolutely ruin the life of whoever has it in their hands." These words took Sinjin back to a dark time. He pictured his old foster family and how they treated him. Red began to fill his vision as he saw the quarterback hand the ball to the running back. Sinjin could only see the man who had made him a slave, and so he charged with everything he had and plowed through that poor running back just like he did to his evil foster parents. After the funeral it was back to football and Sinjin's coach had him turn it down just a notch but keep doing what he was doing. Sinjin had the most dominant year seen by a defender in the history of Michigan high school football. He became obsessed with football, allowing it to consume every minute of his life. He watched endless game tape of Ray Lewis, learning everything he could. He decided he wanted to be the same kind of player: a dominant force in the middle of the field, and the best leader anyone could ask for. The University of Michigan instantly offered him a scholarship and he took it without hesitation. His life goal was now to be the best defender the sport of football had ever seen. He played 6 games before those dreams were derailed. In the fourth quarter against Wisconsin in his freshman year, Sinjin was playing his heart out. He had 16 tackles, 2 sacks, and a pick six, and he was just looking for more. Then it happened: Sinjin was blindsided by an offensive lineman in this draft, Bernard Forthward. His knee was absolutely shattered, and so were his dreams. The doctors told him he'd never play again, no matter how much he wanted it. He lost his scholarship, but continued to go to school. Sinjin excelled at everything he put his mind to, so naturally he maintained a 4.0 even while he endured his extensive and strenuous rehab. Sinjin worked at rehab relentlessly for nearly 2 years, never once thinking of giving up. He knew what he wanted, and he knew how hard he must work to get there. He was a new man, a better man. He walked on to the University of Michigan team without a scholarship and made the current linebackers look like a joke. This guy who still had a questionable knee had enough natural talent to blow everyone in front of him out of the water. Sinjin's coaches wanted to protect him this time though, and limited his snaps. The stat line for that season show Sinjin as a good linebacker, but they don't show the whole story. Sinjin is an Indian freak of nature and he has a real chance to be special, no matter where he's drafted. Sinjin decided not to participate in any pre draft workouts, but insists his body is now at 100% and he is ready to compete. He is ready to realize his dreams and become a defensive leader for whoever trust him enough to draft him.
