On the defensive side of the ball, there's a lot of ways to help your team. From tackles, interceptions, sacks and more, you can influence the game in many ways.
However, a lot of times, your strengths on defense can get ignored, since defense isn't as flashy as the offense. However, a rookie has had a solid start to the season, and is in the hunt to lead in a prime defensive category in the lead.
People may have laughed at the outlaws for trusting a player named "NotSo Smart" to start as their Free Safety, but he's made those critics look, dare I say, "not so smart?"
He's tied for second in the ISFL with 5 interceptions, already showcasing his ability to win aerial battles and read throws well. He's also secured 8 pass deflections alongside the interceptions. He's recorded 30 tackles, and even managed to make 3 sacks on blitz plays.
He's already making a mark on the stat-sheet for the Outlaws, and I know they'll be happy that their safety could have a good future as one of the best at their position in the league! Pib also has had success in the ISFL before, so NotSo's potential remains sky high. Can NotSo keep up the good form and lead the interception race? Or will he settle for leading the rookies?
