Offense:
Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin (RB) - @DREAMSLOTH
Highlights:
324 Rushing Yards, 4 Rushing TDs, 4.84 Yards per Carry
171 Receiving Yards, 3 Receiving TDs
Jarvis Harbinger-Marjin is a name anyone who follows the ISFL should be familiar with; he has put in stellar performances game after game for his entire career. This week, he put up an impressive 221 all-purpose yards and three total touchdowns against a very talented Austin defense! He followed up this elite performance with a casual three rushing touchdown, 176 all-purpose yard performance against the sneaky good San Jose Sabercats. He was held to only one rushing touchdown on 98 all-purpose yards against the Yellowknife Wraiths, but the sum of his three performances was more than enough to earn him ISFL Offensive Player of the Week!
Defense:
Rumble Ronson (LB) - @MrStennett
Highlights:
24 Tackles,3 TFLs, 5 Sacks
4 FF, 1 FR
Rumble Ronson is the stud Linebacker for the Chicago Butchers, he has been holding down the middle of the field for many seasons, and still has a few strong seasons left. He showed what he was capable of this past week, notching nine tackles, one tackle for loss, and a strip sack with a fumble recovery in a big win over the hapless Honolulu Hahalua. He came up big once again in a close victory over the Austin Copperheads, showing his pass rushing ability with six tackles, a tackle for loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble. He finished the week with a bang, having nine tackles, including one for loss, two sacks, and two forced fumbles in a two point win over the San Jose Sabercats. Ronson had one of the best defensive weeks I have ever seen, and is absolutely deserving of the ISFL Defensive Player of the week honors!
Special Teams:
David Doug (K/P) - @TheSparkyDee
Highlights:
10/10 XPs
1/1 <20, 3/3 20-29, 2/2 40-49
28 Total Points
8 Punts Inside 20
Kicker and Punter are not always the sexiest position to play in football, but David Doug plays them excellently and with style. He managed to put together a perfect week kicking as well as a very strong punting performance, averaging 47.5 net yards per punt while booting almost 60% of his punts inside the 20 yard line. Doug hit five extra points, a chip shot field goal, and his weekly ling of 48 yards during a blowout of the Hahalua. Continuing on his strong performance, he his all three of his extra points, a chip shot, and a 46 yarder in the close win over Austin. David then closed out the week with another two extra points and two chip shot field goals. As a punter, Doug did not have much to do against Honolulu, landing one of his two punts inside the 20 and averaging 44 yards per punt. Against the Copperheads, he only managed one of his four punts inside the 20, but averaged an impressive 48 yards per punt to really flip the field for his team. In the win over the Sabercats, Doug was the team MVP, landing six of his eight punts inside the 20 while averaging 48.1 yards per boot. The combination of perfect kicking and strong punting makes David Doug an extremely deserving recipient of the ISFL Special Teamer of the Week award!
