LeHarm James is a new but talented kicker coming out of the University of Arkansas. Here's the rundown on his abilities.
Strengths:
Power: His claim to fame in college. He was able to sink multiple 50 yarders over the course of his career. He has said his goal is to break the record for longest field goal at some point in his career. A strange goal compared to something like "winning the Ultimus", but one he's determined to reach, it seems.
Accuracy: Not as great as his power, so I'll gloss over it, but he's better at it than your usual entry-level kicker. He's able to make difficult field goals from different distances and angles with precision.
Weaknesses:
Consistency: The downfall of young kickers. He may want to work on this some... While he's not terrible, he has missed a couple of chip-ins and extra points over the course of his college career. It should be a relatively easy fix, as it's mostly in moments of pressure. Coaches just need to make sure they get those nerves under control.
Athleticism: Not that big of a deal as this trait's not required for a kicker/punter. But it does prevent teams from running trick plays that could catch the opponent off guard.
Overall, he's a decently solid player. He should get drafted into the DSFL fairly easily due to the lack of kickers like him in this year's class.
