14. Expansion Expansion Expansion! Tell us why you think the league should expand / not expand or include any ideas (in words) for team branding ideas you have or team locations.
I do not believe it is the league's time to expand or contract. Just recently this league was considering contracting the DSFL, so I don’t think expansion is in the cards anytime soon. However, with the recent S41 Class mainly from the r/nfl post, I think more of these types of posts that yield a high amount of interest can increase the amount of total users in the ISFL as a whole, hopefully meaning expansion in the ISFL or DSFL. Both leagues combined have 16 US teams, 2 European teams, One African Team, 2 North American teams excluding the US, and one Australasian team. I personally think it is an absolute travesty that the Asian Contenet has absolutely no football teams, even though it makes up approximately 60% of the Worlds population. Japan even has a competitive football league and high school leagues, and it isn't represented in either the ISFL/DSFL. I propose having the Tokyo Red Cranes as a new team, having one of Japan’s native species being a mascot for the nation, and it is situated in the nation's capital which is home to around 14 Million people. The infrastructure the country already has for domestic football makes it a prime candidate to expand into, as the initial support it will receive will be a boon to the ISFL/DSFL However, when one team is added to the league, another must follow, and I believe it should be in Canada. The one team (Yellowknife Wraiths) in Canada is in a sparsely populated area and the wide popularity of the CFL is not being used to its full potential. I would propose the Vancouver Lumberjacks be the second team of potential expansion. The name draws from the city’s humble upbringing, being a lumber town, and the name gives that typical Canadian feel of lumberjacks in flannel, except these Gridirons warriors aren’t going to be your typical nice Canadians. Vancouver also hosts the CFL BC Lions in the BC Place, which holds 54k people. If the league does consider expansion or rebranding of some American teams, Please consider the Tokyo Red Cranes and the Vancouver Lumberjacks
24. You’re in charge of entertainment for the Ultimus or Ultimini half-time show. What would you do? (Written Task)-
I think a great way to hype up the Ultimus Halftime show would be to take the top rookies who are going to be drafted in the upcoming ISFL draft and have them compete in a skills challenge, a la NFL Pro Bowl style. Imagine if you will, if you had Lloyd Bannings and Jake Jefferson battle it out in a precision passing battle, or having the best of the best compete in a wicked dodgeball match. Think of instead of having the kicking combine in a combine arena with no one else watching but scouts, you have it in front of a live audience ravenous for football. Oliver Toliver and Legs McMillion going at each other to win the best catch contest? Have Dub Redd and Bruce White go up against each other in a sumo wrestling match? Kadarius Claypool ll and Mary Marie play Hole in the Wall?! Would the audience not be entertained?
27. Imagine your current position was not available to be picked when you created your player. What other position would you have picked, and why? (Written Task)
Now I have been a Firehawk for keeping my position and not changing it, but if Running Back never existed, what would Kyle Crane have chosen? In my goals for my player, I want to help my team in the most ways possible, which is why I chose RB, I could be a triple threat. Being on defense is a much more foreign concept to kyle crane, however being a Defensive Back would suit Crane. In reality, I believe I would have picked a TE, and maybe try and go for the versatility of someone like Taysom Hill. A TE's main job is Blocking and Catching, trying to help the team in any way possible, which fits what my player wants to do. I also believe the inherent strength could have made him a good FB in certain situations as well. A TE, Like an RB, is also a safety valve for his team when the QB doesn’t have any other targets, which is why I would go with TE if RB wasn't an option.
