Well met. With this DSFl season being my first away from Azorth I thought I'd give a different prospective on draft grading. So this is gonna be how I feel about the players and what it was like playing with them or versus them. My first year has been an amazing experience that I'm glad to have shared with so many new people. So let get into the draft.
New York Silverbacks
R1,P1
wizard _literal, Dub Redd (DT)
R2,P15
Jumbo, Loose Cannon (LB)
R3,P34
18situaseans, Sean Robinson (WR)
R3,P38
MattBake12, The Riddler (WR)
R6,P74
LeatherneckMike, Saveour Piethons (CB)
R7,P85
Blacchollywoodd, Slim Reaper (WR)
So I'd have to say with Ney York's draft I am 50/50. I love some defense players. Dub Redd is a big strong guy out there grinding away on the Dline had a ton of tackles a good amount for loss and a handful of sacks great year for a cool guy. Loose Cannon at 15 overall was quite the surprise the dudes tough as nails and is a tackle machine leading the league with an amazing 124 but who knows he did seem a little wild out there on the field so maybe not the nicest teamate but I can respest that. The Silverbacks also picked a bunch of fast guys and well that's cool for them if you like fast guys. Saveour at least plays defense so that's something going for them. The receivers meh I don't even get to tackle many receivers but I'd like to get my hands on them.
Im gonna give New York a nice C+ good defense and some other players. Best pick Dub and Loose.
Colorado Yeti
R1,P2
Aeonsjenni, Mary Marie (S)
R1,P7
ElMerchanto, Craig Brand (LB)
R1,P11
Infinitempg, Wolfie McDummy Jr. (QB)
R3,P30
Dustillation, SynystyrGates (CB)
R5,P63
Magnet, Banjo O’Kudah (CB)
R6,P77
Tuddus, Spooky Diddler III (LB)
R7,P91
Liloslicki, Quarl Walkins III (RB)
The Yeti's draft I really like so many 1st round picks how could you go wrong. With the number 2 pick the Yeti took my teammate and all around badass Mary Marie for sure 1oA talent at number 2. Also in the first they took Craig Brand the number 2 tackler in the league and also lead the league in tackles for loss so this is a guy that gets after it and gets after it fast. Wolfie McDummy Jr. is a trader and I can't be happy for a guy moving to offense. Colorado also took some fast boys on defense another linebacker and a running back much is a position I do enjoy tackling them so they are ok.
I think Colorado gets a B- would be higher but trader. But their best pick by far was Mary she's the best and Im sure a future team leader for the Yeti.
Honolulu Hahalua
R1,P3
LtHudz, Billy Jor-El (DT)
R2,P17
Jdc4654, Ray Baker (K)
R3,P36
LiathTheSquirrel, Liath Squirrel (LB)
R4,P45
Kunra99, Trent Silverback (OL)
R6,P73
InternationalHouse, Offe Panic (DT)
R7,P87
JSmithFallen, John Smith (DE)
Honolulu another draft I like bunch of tacklers a blocker and a kicker. Now Billy Jor-El is a player I've enjoyed watching nothing better then a big body out there just blasting O-lines apart. The Squirrel is a fun player always out there causing chaos and was 3rd in the league in tackles. Trent was a player I really enjoyed playing with had some good battles which my teams got the better of more then they got us. The Hahalua also got the second best kicker in the draft but all around cool guy Ray Baker and I love a kicker who else gets to sit on sidelines just chillin and only come out onto the field in the most stressful moments.
Im gonna give Honolulu an A enjoyed their draft. Their best pick was Liath Squirrel with an absolute steal in the third round.
Orange County Otters
R1,P4
UptownCord, John Stark VIII (LB)
R3,P39
Bowl0, Lloyd Bannings (QB)
R4,P49
Matlestud, Leo Stud (LB)
R5,P62
LohnRanger, Joshua Mabry (OL)
R6,P81
Youngbuck, Akele Kekela (RB)
The Orange County Otters had an interesting draft. They took a great linebacker in the first with John Stark 8 just a good player all around. They took a good mix of players but a lot of offense. I do like the Lineman and the running back but bleh I don't like QBs. Leo Stud also a cool guy enjoy me some linebackers.
Overall I'm gonna say C too many offensive players not enough tacklers. Best pick John Stark 8 just a cool guy and good tackler.
New Orleans Second Line
R1,P5
Baz1757, Ezra Azazel (CB)
R1,P6
Toofpete, Bruce White (DE)
R2,P20
Ultimatedestroye, Kyle Crane (RB)
R4,P48
AK41, Malik Brooks (RB)
R5,P57
JRoss, Rodney Rosadino (LB)
R6,P76
KingLord29, William Barkley (TE)
R7,P90
Ponchoc, Nwoye Musa (DT)
How could you not like the Second Line's draft two great defensive players in the first round. Ezra is a great fast boy had a good amount of tackles and a ton of pass defenses. With their second pick they took Bruce White a great Dline player who this year TIED the sack record in the DSFL. They also took two running backs Kyle Crane and Malik Brooks. I think my teammate Malik Brooks was a steal in the 4th round a player who for sure should have went in the first round. New Orleans picked a lot of big guys and that's something I can get on board with.
Gonna give the Second Line a B+ would have been higher if they had someone who alone held the sack title. Best Pick Malik Brooks a great player and an even better teammate.
Sarasota Sailfish
R1,P8
LeSezz, Max Honestly (LB)
R2,P21
Entreri, Artemis Entreri (WR)
R4,P44
Hordle, Damarcus Cole (DT)
R5,P59
TitanFan34, Eilliot Berry (RB)
R5,P64
ScrambledEggs, King DeDeDe (LB)
R6,P76
Robb, Mr Robb (S)
Sarasota gad a good draft picking up some solid defensive plays and a fast boy. Taking Max in the first round was a great idea not only is he a great player but a great guy one of my favorite oppenents this year. The draft every level of defense which is smart a good Dlineman, linebacker, and safety. They also picked up a receiver.
I'll give the Sailfish a sturdy A. Their best pick one of my favorites is Max Honestly again just a great dude.
Austin Copperheads
R1,P9
Memento_Mori, Oliver Tolliver (WR)
R4,P47
Nasbase, Ryan Knock (LB)
R4,P51
Subby500, LeAnthony LeDavis (WR)
R5,P65
Crazylemire, Great Khali (OL)
R6,P79
StormClark, Albert Einstein (LB)
The snek had a pretty solid draft for not having a 2nd or 3rd round pick. The Copperheads pick up one of my favorite fast boys in Oliver Tolliver just a awesome and talented player and all around nice guy. The Copperheads also picked a receiver with one of my favorite names LeAnthony LeDavis. Knock and Einstein two good tacklers for the late rounds. And you can't go wrong with a giant Lineman.
Overall Austin gets a B good use of picks. Best pick was the best receiver in the draft Oliver Tolliver great teammate and key to a championship for Bondi Beach.
Cape Town Crash
R1,P10
Jollyjiggs, Legs McMillion (WR)
R2,P18
Crash1005, Rolund Onyxgut (LB)
R2,P23
Cycro, Justin Willis (OL)
R2,P24
FireworkFuse, Jason Steele (DT)
R4,P53
Tiktaalik, Bob Kickerson (K)
R4,P56
Quasi, Sticky Hands (RB)
R5,P70
BrontBront, Bigton Hammer (LB)
R6,P80
Krombopulos_Bill, Donny Doofenshmirtz (TE)
The Crash had the best draft I have ever seen perfect use of picks and making great trades to draft great players. Legs McMillion great fast boy and made a switch to the best side of the ball also surprisingly great singing voice. Rolund Onyxgut honestly steal of the draft I do it all tackle, sacks, drinking, and fighting. The Crash round out round 2 with 2 big boys in Justin Willis and Jason Steele one on each side of the ball. In the 4th they honestly picked the best kicker in the draft in Bob Kickerson who ended up kicking a field goal in the Ultimini which ended up being the difference. Also got some solid value late in Hammer and Doofenshmirtz
Im gonna give the Crash an A++ cause I can. The best pick is a tie between me and Bob but probably me.
Chicago Butchers
R1,P12
TheRake, Rico Savage (S)
R2,P26
KlausGoatCasinos, Bill Cravy (CB)
R3,P40
Thecanadiancunuck, Jake Jefferson (QB)
R4,P46
Kaliodyme, Faust Leercor (DE)
R4,P54
Quisvilius, Amanda HugAndKiss (S)
R6,P82
Joe Shabado, Icepick O’Hullihan (S)
Chicago had a draft all defense and a QB for some reason a need or something. The Butchers really needed some safeties so they took three of them Rico was a good pick in the first at 12 which is after 6, Amanda at 54 was a steal a great safety also had a game sealing pick in the Ultimini, and Icepick which I guess someone had to draft. Jefferson is a Qb that I sack more then once this year. Also Bill was a nice outside piece.
I'll give the Butchers a B- cause why so many safeties? Best pick Amanda HugAndKiss she had a great season and won a title no one else on in their draft did.
Yellow Knife Wraiths
R1,P13
Weaves, Kadarius Claypool LL (CB)
R2,P27
Gumbaman, Terry Johnson (LB)
R3,P41
Juniped, Orga Panda (WR)
R4,P55
BeardedSerb, Andrija Divac (TE)
R5,P69
MCHers, Garth Silver (S)
R6,P83
Rojefmo, Wade Right (K)
The Wraiths draft was some of the most talkative players in the league. A fast and chatty CB in Claypool, a linebacker that talks the most in the DSFL most weeks, and a Panda who most people try to get to stop talking. Two less talkative but still cool players in Divac and Silver. Also a cool kicker in Right.
I'll say a C for Yellow Knife. Their best pick probably Claypool nice value at the back half of the first.
Arizona Outlaws
R1,P14
CROney3, Benji Aguilera (WR)
R2,P22
Marccelaat, Logjammed McBobface (DE)
R2,P28
Purpl3Spartan, Benjamin Duvernay (CB)
R3,P35
WrittinDirectino, Brian Vincent-Vega (S)
R3,P42
BeegBeegYoshi, Beeg Beeg Yoshi Jr. (OL)
R4,P50
Pazuzu, Scruffy The Janitor (DT)
R6,P84
4D_Chess, Cheeky Lad (OL)
Outlaws had a good amount of picks in the first 3 rounds. A good receiver in Benji a pretty cool guy and an awesome OL in Beeg Beeg. Then some good D players in McBobface, Duvernay. The Outlaws got a steal in the 4th with my linemate Scruffy such a cool and underrated player.
Arizona gets an A from me lots of defense. Their best pick has got to be Scruffy cause he is my teammate and I wouldn't be anywhere with out him by my side.
San Jose Sabercats
R2,P16
FuriousPanda, Jumbo Edward (DT)
R2,P25
Urc660, DJ Maclean (LB)
R3,P32
DL14, Diego Lopez Alonso (WR)
R3, P37
Gragg9, Modest Mussorgsky (OL)
R4,P43
Greenbaynathan, Otto The Orange (TE)
R5,P60
Hallmonitor_20, Kenny Szymborski (TE)
R7,P88
Deathbed11, Samuel Nelson (DE)
San Jose didn't have a first round pick but made the most of the ones they did have. In the second they took two great defenders big boy Jumbo and one of my favorite linebackers DJ Maclean. In the third two great offensive players fast boy Diego and strong boy Modest. Then their nest two picks the took two tightends which is fun. Lastly a nice pick in Nelson.
Sabercats get a B+. Their best pick is DJ Maclean he was a sneaky good LB this season on a championship defense.
Berlin Fire Salamanders
R2,P19
Number 82, Emile Charles (WR)
R3,P29
Toastcharger, Burnt Toast (TE)
R3,P31
NickWilliams, Nick Williams (TE)
R3,P33
Ajax, Lukas Van Ness (DE)
R4,P52
BWIII, Forozka Duanei (WR)
R5,P61

R5,P68
Ianthebalance, Pierce Hawthorne (TE)
R6,P75
Acsolap, Atlas Kirkby (DT)
R7,P89
Hemmlock, Aleksander Reznikov (LB)
Berlin needed players to throw to and that's what they got. Emile is a nice receiver, Toast is an awesome tightend, Williams is a real good tightend, Forozka is a receiver with a cool name, Hawthore is another tightend. What's with all the tightends? They also got some great and underrated defensive pieces in Van Ness and Baldwin.
The Sallies had a good draft for having no first they get a C+. I got a tie for best pick with Toast and Baldwin cause they both know how to win.
Baltimore Hawks
R5,P58
Pfluginator5, Frederick Carlson (DE)
R5,P66
Packplaya, Bubba Chubb (OL)
R5,P67
Scorycory, Myrtle Beach Tolliver (LB)
R6,P72
PorkyPig78, Garrett Cheetahman (WR)
R7,P86
Cove, Luca Rossi (DT)
Baltimore only had sme very late round picks but I think they went all in last season on trades so they still got some players this draft. Notably Myrtle Beach Tolliver another of the famous family and good linebacker.
Im gonna say C for the Hawks. Best pick gotta be known winner Tolliver.
Ok now for the nice stuff, I joined this league with the great reddit class of S41 and have not looked back since that day. The league has been such a great find for me. I have spent many hours just looking at players and stats and just talking on discord about random things with random people. I've also gotten way too invest in little dots doing silly things on a field. I was pick up first by Bondi Beach by @Thor and @Eric Belmont. Thor has been a great person in our BBB locker room always answering any questions anyone has and just hanging out. Eric was also a great locker room person always helpful when around. Ok so now lets get down to teammates. I'll start with the 10A @aeonsjenni what can I say about jenni that hasn't been said a million times already she's a great locker room presence always helpful and a Giants fan so gotta love her for that. Next up @Akoustique our new GM after Erics departure, Akou is such a nice person always enthusiastic about the team and what we are doing and is doing the most to be a great GM. @Memento Mori has been a fun person in the BBB locker room another old head in the group so another helpful person to have around. And so many more @Quisvilius, @MrNoPass, @AK41, @Urq660 and anyone I missed from our S40 DSFL Championship team. Also a quick shout out to our S42 rookies @Muford, @Aleris, @srotpars, and crew. Also all my new teammates on the Crash who I'm sure will be in this post after next season.
Alright now for the not teammates. First a special shout out to @Raven who was always around for the late night discord crew and always answered questions with out him and thor I probably would have given up on the league pretty quick. Special shout out to @"LeSizz" for just being a cool guy. Now of course I wont get everyone I've ever talked to but a lot of the great people in discord @toofpete and @TheRake, @DL14, @18situaseans, @UptownCord, @jdc4654, @LiathTheSquirrel, @CROney3, @marccelaat, @Purpl3Spartan.
I joined the Isfl hoping to find a great community of people and what I actually ended up finding was way more then I ever thought it would be. I can get on discord at anytime of day and there will be a conversation going on about something from sports to games to life and everything in between even a fair about of (good natured) trash talk. There is also so much going on, on the message boards people writing articles about each other or talking about each other in pod casts and no end of people making graphics for each other. Everyone in the league is always doing the most for each other and its just a nice change of pace from the day to day outside the league. So in closing I just wanna say thank you to everyone who makes this place what it is from all the HO, and all the GMs and every user out there and anyone who actually reads any of my silly media.
Thank you from Jeff aka Crash1005 aka Rolund Onyxgut of the current DSFL Champion Bondi Beach Buccaneers
