Rekkr - During my time in the ISFL I have been lucky enough to meet a ton of other great users and I have had some great General Managers during the duration of two careers. Some of my best online/sim league friends are from the ISFL as well. Unfortunately I don't really remember many people from my London Royals days other than Crunk and I think Zeagle. Now I remember a ton of great people in New York. Zayne was such a great GM as was Roche. They really set me up for success and helped me be the best best wide receiver in team history and a possible Hall of Fame player. The locker room in New York has set a really high bar for so many other teams in this league and gave me a great comparable for my PBE team that I co-GM for. I had so many great teammates there too that certainly stood out such as Dogwoodmaple, Steg, and Void just to name a few whose names I remember. It's been awhile and I struggle with names so I hope no one gets upset if they're missing from this list. After New York when I recreated I spent a short stint in Minnesota with the Grey Ducks and I enjoyed having Repgnar as my GM as he was a great communicator and answered a lot of the questions I had about the team. Now that I've been in Chicago for a bit I've gotten to know TheCC more than just competing against him in the Halo League (and beating him hehe). Twenty6 has also been super awesome for helping me build my running back for the team and making me successful. I think some of my closest friends and supporters in the league need a special shoutout themselves. To hoppy who is doing this podcast with me and has done some others with me - thanks for being a great friend to me and gaming with me so much the last year or so. To my brother Tayjay, my best friend and my non-rival, rival - it has been so fun to compete against you and compare our careers as we recreate together and keep on each other about updates, predictions, occasionally doing podcasts, and just shooting the shit. I look forward to many more seasons in the ISFL with you and maybe one day we'll be teammates. I mentioned him earlier, but Crunk needs a second special shoutout. Crunk was my early guide for updating and we had a ton of fun gaming together and I hope we are able to again soon. Crunk is arguably one of the best people I've met in all sim leagues I've been apart of. Overall, the ISFL has really added to my life. I always thought I could only do one sim league and that one league was the PBE however I was wrong and I'm so glad I joined. I've met so many incredible people in the league and I know I will continue to meet so many great people as time goes on. So here's to many more years of fake, sim league football.
H0ppy75 - What I love about the ISFL is it allows me to continue to do stuff involving football. I retired from playing football almost a decade ago and from time to time I still get the itch to play but I know that if I get hit once that hit will disappear again so this for me is a safer and less rough way of staying active in football. Most of the people that I know from ISFL are people that I already knew from the Pro Baseball Experience but it’s cool that I can also spend time with those same people from a baseball sim league and know that they are football fans as well. I think the thing I love most about this league is it gives me more time to unwind from the craziness that is my life. After a long day at work and can come home and unwind by doing my media grading job or doing a podcast about the league. Both of which are helping me continue to know what is doing on in the league.
First shoutout I would like to give is to @namelessnate. We decided to recreate as brothers to try and make the most fearsome defensive line combo in ISFL history but unfortunately you went IA. I don’t hold that against you but thank you for being my brother regardless.
Second shoutout goes to my other ISFL brother in @Aneeq aka Sledge Hammer. You decided to join ISFL after Nate went IA and created the long lost brother that I didn’t know I had, now you are living up to the bargain and we can create the defensive force that I thought I would make with Nate. Thank You Aneeq for helping me be better person in this league.
Third shoutout goes to @Rekkr for being my former PBE general manager and for allowing me to come on his ISFL podcast and fuck around for an hour a week so we can continue to support our sim league drug habit and continue to be good to great earners, more good for me and great for you but thank you for being my friend in both ISFL and PBE but outside of sim leagues as well.
Next one goes to @pauadrian and @C9Van. I should include Aneeq here as well because the combination of the four of us make the Four Horseman of the Apocolypse when it comes to ISFL podcasts and I have to admit doing podcasts with you guys are some of the most fun that I have every week and to think that we even get paid for it, making money off of our podcast should be illegal.
Last one goes to one of my current general managers for the Baltimore Hawks in @dude_man. He helped me a week or so ago get a job as a media grader and has helped me a ton with my player plus he’s the poor guy who has to listen to the ramblings of Pau, Van and Aneeq on our podcasts every week. I’m sure there isn’t enough booze in the world to help him forget about what we talk about every week. So from the bottom of my heart Dude, thank you for everything that you have done for me in sim leagues.
