Anchor: New Orleans Second Line's newest acquisition from the Berlin Fire Salamanders isn't just finding his groove with his new team, he's finding his groove with the local movie scene as well. Our sports reporter has the story.
Reporter: After Cornerback Johnny Delusion was traded during the first few weeks of the season, he wasn't just reached out to by the team he was contacted by local filmmaker Mike Joel who is working on the remake of iconic 60's sci-fi film "The Brain That Wouldn't Die", after seeing Delusional in his most recent film Berlin Nights. JD: Yeah I signed on right away, and even though filming was already nearly completed, they were able to fit me in as a scientist that works with the title characters I'm very excited about the role! Reporter: I was even given a tour of the set and I'm telling you the film looks great! Back to you in the studio! Anchor: The world premiere of "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" is slated to be in New Orleans at The Saenger Theatre this summer. Code: 180 Words
Benji has always been a fan of comedies, so when Hollywood called his agent to be the next up and coming co star in a buddy cop movie, there's no way Benji could say no! Even better, they were going to fly him out sunny Hawaii to do most of the filming! Funnily enough, this movie is not about lifeguards or city police, but National Parks Rangers! Benji didn't even care who he was going to buddy cop it up with. But he was surprised to learn that he would be starring in this movie along side standup comedian Stavros Halkias, so he knew this one was going to be a hit. And even if it wasn't? No big deal as he was going to have a blast doing it. Did he mention that he gets to go to Hawaii!? This CHIPS / Baywatch / Starsky and Hutch combination was going to be so over the top that Benji couldn't pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity.

A movie director approached Beniri T'Chawama about a potential film with him in it. Initially, Beniri was not too interested really in being in a movie, but the director began telling him his big plan. Beniri would be playing football in the ISFL and as he is in his tail end of his career, he sits down on the bench all tired. Then, the janitor approaches him and tells starts up a small conversation about his career. Having won a few trophies himself, he tells the janitor about his success as well as the times he regrets as in he wishes he got to know his teams better and work harder to stay active in the league. With a slight smile the janitor grants his wish and T'Chawama is back to Honolulu where he had just won his second bowl, but this time he gets to redo the future seasons all over again! Intrigued by this prospect, T'Chawama hears more about the movie, but ultimately declines as he is too lazy.
DJ Maclean is not a flashy guy, I don’t think he’d be one for a big box/office busting action movie with car chases and gunfights. Something a bit more humble and forthright would be his jam. A nice documentary perhaps. It could focus on the American football eco system in the UK, even Scotland specifically, addressing the lack of funding in the game. That could bring more sponsors to the grass roots side of the game, increase the eyes on the product, maybe stop young brits having to move to the US in order to break into the sport they love, the way DJ and his mentor, Guy Gibson, had to. He could also chart his own journey, the hurdles he faced, how he overcame them, to prove to young British players that the ISFL is accessible, you just have to put your back into it and find a way. I don’t know what we could call it, sounds like a job for someone with a marketing degree!
Wow, what a world. The Bread Bowl is officially a disney approved film. I was given full creative control of my new film, including directing and starring in the movie, as it is something I have wanted to do since I was just a small wheat plant back on the farm. The Bread Bowl movie follows my home, Panera Bread, as they start their company back in St. Louis. A little boy, nicknamed Yeast, is the son of the founder. At school one day, he finds out that one of his classmates' father has some anger at the new restaurant location, and wants to seek retribution, as he feels slighted by the founder. The story follows our hero Yeast, and his classmates Chicken and Noodle as they attempt to stop this boy's father from burning down the first Panera Bread. It is a heartwarming tale that promotes friendship, family, and community. I am excited to bring it to theatres in s45, during week 8 of the ISFL season, be on the lookout!

Ace Anderson has always wanted to be an action movie star. He feels like his name just lends itself to that genre.
Ace's dream role would be the titular character in a martial arts trilogy. His favorites in that category are always the ones with no particular plot line, those movies that just sort of start with a lot of action, minimal character building, just sweet over-stylized and exaggerated fight sequences. The movie would start with Ace sitting cross-legged in a Japanese Zen Garden when all of the sudden, black-clad ninjas would appear out of nowhere surrounding him all on sides and one of them would say "The Green Dragon Lotus Gang sends their regards" and a massive melee would ensue with Ace utilizing his superior fighting skills to dispatch the enemies one by one until none were left standing. The rest of the movie we would see Ace using his wit and skill to hunt down the leader of the gang that attacked him and learn (through a series of confusing flashbacks) that they killed his only brother. The movie would end with a confrontation on the top of a skyscraper, the main villain would unmask himself dramatically and reveal that he was in fact, Ace's brother and he turned to a life of crime after living in Ace's shadow for far too long. The fight would climax in a scene where Ace and his brother end up tumbling off the end of the skyscraper with Ace able to grab onto a cord that had been dislodged during their fighting and grabbing his brother with his other hand. Ace would beg his brother to climb but his brother would realize that in saving himself, he would doom his brother and forces him to let go, sending him falling to his death. The movie would garner some success in the box office but the following two movies in the trilogy would never live up to the first one and be straight to DVD Cult Classics.
