We're back again with the S42 QB watch in the DSFL and boy is it a doozy. All 3 QBs have started to settle into their teams and two of them are looking like they will be the best QBs in the league going forward. We're a little under 1/3 of the way through the season and these lads will only get better so let's dive into how they fared from Week 2 through Week 4.
Josh Patterson - London Royals - Tier A+
Josh has turned out to be everything that London wanted in a QB and more. He is leading the league in Passing Yard and Passing Touchdowns, and is the only QB with more than 1000 passing yards and a QB rating over 100. Absolutely tearing up the league as London is scoring more than 30 points almost every week with a high powered offense. The only loses to Josh come at the hands of Kansas City and Tijuana who are both arguably the two best teams in the league. I expect great things from Mr. Patterson going forward and potential awards in his future if he keeps it up. He has also beaten the two other QBs on this list. So that's a bonus. Record against other rookie QBs 0-1
Zisia Ojeisndiwoseodj - Minnesota Grey Ducks - Tier A-
Dropping out of the first spot but not by much is Mr. Ojeisndiwoseodj. Zsia is 2nd in passing yards and Passing TDs and is by no means a disappointment. He has lead the Grey Ducks to an amazing 3-1 start with the only loss coming to Patterson's Royals. A highlight of these past few weeks was the 17-14 win over Kansas City, a huge win in what is turning out to be a stacked North Conference this season. In fact, Zsia seems to be pulling rabbits out of his hat most games and coming in clutch has all 3 Minnesota wins have been by a score or less. It'll be exciting to see if he can lead them to a win against the dreaded Tijuana squad in Week 5. Record against other rookie QBs 0-1
RE #38 - Bondi Beach Buccaneers - Tier C
Last and unfortunately least we have RE #38. Now if you remember from last week, RE had an abysmal start to his season and was given an F- grade. However, Mr. #38 has turned it around despite the Buccaneers shortfalls in the win category. Since week 1, RE #38 has averaged a passer rating of 90, a huge improvement from his week 1 performance. We even got a treat as neutral fans as the highly touted Patterson vs #38 Bowl lived up to its expectations. London won and Patterson had an amazing game but so did #38 with 387 passing yards and 2 TDs (and no picks!!). It was quiet a show for the fans. Bondi Beach as a tough few games coming up in the next few weeks, these will be a real test for RE #38. Record against other rookie QBs 0-1
