With his first season of DSFL football draws to a close, Ace Anderson is looking for ways to help supplement a Dallas Birddogs team that has not performed as expected this season. As the lone running back on the team, there is a lot of pressure on Ace to perform when his team can't get things going through the air and that pressure, has started to get to him. Fans of the team can recall seeing Ace sulking on the sideline after not being able to convert on 3rd down to keep the ball in the hands of his quarterback. What most people don't know is, he's mad at himself; not at his team. Over the past few weeks, Ace has been working to center himself through mindfulness and breathwork. Thankfully, he has noticed that in tough situations, he is able to calm his mind and body and in doing so, has made himself more lethal on the run. Although his touchdowns are still low, he has been able to up his performance in the last few weeks and now he feels like he is not letting everyone down.
